My husband and I just had countertops done by the Countertop Company. We worked with Jason during the decision making process which, on and off, took months. We weren’t in a huge rush at first. Jason was very responsive to emails and and was a pleasure to work with at every step of the way.
Bob the owner, Joe and his team who did the install were all very courteous, friendly and patient. They spent the time to answer all questions we had and we never felt rushed.
TCC also recommended a cabinet maker to build a new island and a tile company to work with and they were all fantastic. At the end we went with all soapstone for the countertops, backsplash and windowsill and it looks beautiful.
We hope to work with this company again in the future.

Short and sweet review; these guys are the best! Jorge was more than helpful with estimates and recommendations on granite/​quartz, sinks, back splashes, etc. They were able to accommodate my work schedule and knock out my counter tops and island in one day. Joe and Michael arrived as scheduled, explained every step of the process and left my house as clean (maybe cleaner) than it was before they started work. Call Jorge for a no BS, hassle –free experience.

The professionalism was a 10. The quality of workmanship a 10. Delivered as promised. Went beyond to help me get the kitchen together and working. I really can’t find the words to express to anyone contemplating a kitchen remodel just how painless working with this company has been. They truly care, and have pride in their work. After working with their salesman to get a quote, I would never use these guys. I usually don’t give only 1 start to a company unless they’ve done something really wrong, and in this case — it’s warranted. It’s possible other salespeople would be better to work with there. Because of Unilocal guidelines, I am unable to state the name of the person I worked with because of Unilocal «privacy guidelines». Unfortunately this means that for readers out there, instead of being able to avoid what might be a single bad apple, I have to strongly caution against using them at all.
When I first spoke with their salesman, he told me he was a fully licensed general contractor, so I asked him if they would be interested in a couple of other jobs at the same time. He assured me they were more than capable of handling other types of work too, and I sent extensive photographs of the kitchen counters we wanted done, shower work that needed done, and a replacement stairway bannister.
I communicated with him on a Friday and he said the jobs were complicated enough he needed to go over the quotes with us in person instead of just emailing them to me and asked me to come into the showroom the next day. I told him my wife wasn’t available and to please send me what he had and we would talk about it next week. He was insistent that we come in — so much so that my wife changed her plans and we went to the showroom. He assured me he would have all three estimates ready for us when we arrived and would take the time to go over them in detail.
When we arrived, we told the receptionist who we were there for. She asked us to wait, and she would let him know we were there. He was with another customer even though we had an appointment for a very specific time. After over 30 minutes of waiting and no end in sight, my wife and I discussed if we should just leave and go to another tile company down the street. We were more than a little frustrated at having a specific appointment and not being seen on time, especially when he knew we changed other plans at his urging. The receptionist overheard us (intentional on our part), and she went out and talked to him, who suddenly had time to talk to us.
It turns out he had done none of the work on estimates that he said he would, but he did work up a rough quote in person for the counters and said he would get with his shower guys and stair guys early in the week. In the meantime, he would send the quote we worked up with him in person to me on Monday. The quote was to include all costs, including plumbing, demolition etc. and was going to be right around four thousand.
On Monday, I got the quote — and fortunately I read it carefully — it was the amount that we agreed on, 4K, but specifically said that it did not include plumbing, electrical, drywall damage repair or other charges. When I sent back the estimate and mentioned these things, he sent a revised estimate including the charges for additional items, and also increased the scope of work to include backsplash to the bottom of cabinets that we specifically told him we didn’t want. That estimate was over $ 6K — a full 50% higher than what we had talked about. We did get him down to 4800 when I told him we didn’t want the extra backsplash that he added in.
Even though it was promised repeatedly — we never did get a quote from him on the other two projects, just more broken promises. At this point — after getting us to break other appointments to meet with him, and him ignoring us until we were about to walk out, and bait and switch quote practices, and never coming through at all on other quotes — we decided we definitely were not going to do business with this salesperson.
My wife and I liked the material enough that we talked about trying to get someone else at the counter top company to work with us, but decided it was just too risky. In the end, we did get our counters done by another company and are extremely thrilled with the pricing, the results, the entire experience.

I could understand the we had customers come in and were busy comment, but that was only part of the problem. The problem was more the fact that the estimates that were supposed to be done before the shop even opened that day weren’t done. When we finally did get a written quote, it left so many items that would need added on that when I requested an updated quote with all work included it went up a full 50%. The whole thing was handled in an unprofessional fashion at best, and more than likely in a deceptive manner intending to jack up the costs during the job.

Highly recommend using The Countertop Company. They did a wonderful job on the remodeling of our kitchen and two baths. This great company replaced our old tile countertops in all three rooms with beautiful quartz, installed four new sinks, a new stovetop and hood, a new bathtub and shower and two new water-​efficient toilets.
Sales representative, Jorge, was easy to work with in initiating and coordinating our projects; a true professional. And Bob, the owner of the company, was precise in his vision, his measurements and his direction to the veteran and highly-​skilled craftsmen who worked hard to carry out our remodeling plans as we wanted.
All of those associated with The Countertop Company have faithfully worked for Bob for many years and, thus, there was no subcontracting of the work. Joe and his crew did an exceptional job in the demo, installation and in all other aspects of our projects.
My wife and I obtained three estimates and, after doing so, there was no doubt in our minds that The Countertop Company was the company with which we wanted to work. When the work was efficiently completed in a timely manner, my wife and I jointly concluded that they far exceeded our expectations. One more time… WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE COUNTERTOP COMPANY!

Fabulous company!!! My experience with The Countertop Company was outstanding. Jorge helped me select my countertop (soapstone) and backsplash materials. Bob, TCC’s owner, designed and fabricated a beautiful apron front sink out of soapstone. Joe and his crew installed counter, sink, and plumbing with skill and professionalism. The subway tile is beautiful thanks to another skilled employee. I have his name written down but can’t find it — sorry. Nice young man who likes old time rock and roll and really knows what he’s doing! Mel came in at the end to grout the tile. Perfection! Denise called with scheduling times and was always available to answer questions. Jorge kept in touch throughout the project. The bid was competitive and fair. Work started and ended according to schedule. Everyone who entered my home was polite, professional, careful, and skilled. They not only know what they’re doing but customer satisfaction is a high priority all the way around. Thank you all for a job well done!
The counter work was done before Thanksgiving (slow to review — sorry) and since then TCC completed another project for me. Dakota and Mel ripped out my old decking and replaced it with composite decking and sanded and painted the railing. Again, pure professionals!
Jorge is still helping me with replacement of my flooring. He referred me to a flooring company and took the time to meet me there for introductions and to help answer questions. That is way above and beyond, and I very much appreciate it. Poor Jorge has been so helpful I’m afraid he will never be free of me! At least not until I have all my projects done!

The Countertop Company did an awesome job on my quarts countertops. I am blown away by how gorgeous they look! It makes my small condo kitchen look so much larger and cleaner. Jason was very professional, knowledgeable and super nice to work with. He was also very responsive to my many emails and telephone calls. The installer Joe, and his son, did a fabulous job on the installation. It is flawless! I cannot believe they got it all done, start to finish, in 6 hours. I will definitely use this company again when we do the bathrooms.

Originally, we were going to the Countertop Company specifically to pick out a countertop after a leak in our kitchen required a complete overhaul. We had been working with a company who addressed the leak and dried the kitchen out and we thought we would use them for the remodel and just let them know what we picked and have them get the people to do the work. We went to the Countertop Company because it looked like they had the largest choice representing all the different countertop choices. We were more than fortunate to speak with Jorge when we came in and we told him what had happened. He indicated The Countertop Company can address all the items and handle the remodel for us and they’d be happy to bid on the job. We had 3 bids, the one from the insurance company was the highest by a few thousand. The Countertop Company came in within $ 200 of our other bid which was from a very nice person who wasn’t a licensed contractor but working toward becoming one but he had 15 years experience. In the end we had to make a decision the night before leaving on a trip. Jorge came to our house, signed all the paperwork, took the key and handled everything in our kitchen. During a time when getting good workers and trustworthy people is a challenge, we were beyond pleased. Our kitchen was completed ahead of schedule and all the workers we dealt with were amazing. Everything looks top of the line and the countertop with new sink is amazing. We have already recommended them and would go out of our way to bring business their way. When you find good people, professional, trustworthy doing an outstanding job you are grateful there are still companies like this around. Everyone from the owner to the workers to the office staff was top notch. Thank you Countertop Company for a truly fantastic job. We couldn’t be more pleased.

There are so many countertop companies. How do you choose? My cabinet installer recommended I use them because he works with them and he attested to their reliability. Choosing the material was the worst part! But once I decided on the product they were on it. Counter was installed 1 week after cabinets came. Bought my sink from them and better than what you can find at he big box for less. Of course I had some misgivings about what I ordered after I ordered it (LOL its hard for me to make decisions) but the material and the quality of work is 5 start.

I had a great experience with The Countertop Company, and the individuals that went above and beyond. Jorge helped me pick a couple of beautiful pieces for my bathroom remodels, and helped me along with the unfamiliar process. All of the ladies in the showroom, especially Denise, were on it. I received reminder calls, and they worked around my crazy schedule for installation. And finally, when I was in a major time crunch and needed a few small pieces modified, Joe and the gentlemen behind the scenes went above and beyond to help me out, and made sure I had what I needed. My countertops are to die for!

Steer clear of this company. I wouldn’t give them any stars if possible! If you are looking for a reputable and reliable fabricator look elsewhere! The owner obviously does not care who he is sending out representing his company and they definitely do not care about their customers and the service they offer.

I Would never use another company for my Countertops.
The work is fast and more importantly they leave the area spotless — if you need demolition work done. Just by visiting the showroom, you can tell their pride of work. The options for material to choose from is vast. Look over some material in their slab yard.
We have had them do new an island split countertop in granite, a 12 foot long granite bookcase top and a granite bar countertop… we are already lining up our next remodeling work.
So if you are looking for quality work, This is the company to use!

After purchasing a rather beat-​up condo in Oceanside, I decided to refurbish the entire unit from front to back, top to bottom. Obviously, that meant new countertops, too. So, my sister referred me to The Countertop Company as a contractor for my kitchen and two bathroom countertops. I did a little research on my own (as far as what material to use, the expected cost, timeframe for installation, etc.), made my design appointment, walked in to the shop and immediately found what I wanted.
Lois was an absolute gem — she confirmed the research I had done to make sure I was selecting the best material for my unit, assisting with color choice to ensure it blended with my cabinets and flooring, and confirmed that sufficient product was available (apparently there was a limited supply of my choice and another batch wasn’t going to be produced for another 6 – 8 weeks). Sarah was as friendly and helpful as you could hope for! Before I knew it, the project was under way. They coordinated with my general contractor for timely installation, and the product was installed beautifully! Bobby completed the installation within the timeframe we agreed on. We hit one little glitch with the backsplashes, but Lois was on it — immediately communicating with me to resolve the problem. They seem to have a great team at the shop.
I cannot stress how happy I am with the end result. When friends and family walk in to my condo, they cannot believe how beautiful the kitchen and bathrooms are. These people know their product, they know their installation, and they know how to treat the customer. I can recommend them without any reservation whatsoever. Thank you so much!

Joe and his crew did a great job for us, as did Lois who wrote up our initial estimate. They did our kitchen and 4 bathrooms. It was a big job and there were some unexpected problems that could not be seen before the old counters were removed, but they did not charge anything extra and stuck to their initial quote. Their price was very good and we are very happy.

TCC did our Kitchen and bathroom countertops. Everything looks fantastic. Joe and Alfredo were very experienced and good to work with. They worked hard to keep the dust and debris cleaned up during the demolition and install.

These guys manufactured countertops for my laundry room and did an absolutely fantastic job. Very professional, speedy, neat, extremely easy to work with. What really impressed me was that at the end of the installation I was 100% pleased — something rare for me! I checked out 3 other local (Escondido) countertop installers and found these people to be the most professional and the most reasonable — although I would have paid slightly more to work with them.
