Round Table Pizza

So it’s national pizza day and while I had planned on making a big salad for dinner but well it’s National Pizza day so I stopped @round table ! I asked for their specials which apparently they have 2 that I wasn’t interested in! I order a large
Pizza and she tells me it’s going to be a 15 min wait she hands me my
Receipt and coupons for when I come back … and as I wait and there are some
Amazing deals. I ask if they can accommodate me with one of the specials and the girl who rang me up she said «No sorry it has to be on the same ticket!» I’m like so not cool! Anyhow long story short I ask for the manager and they are accommodating me!
After all it is #NationalPizzaDay

Pizza was poorly done looked like they just threw all the ingredients. Tables are always dirty, dont think i will ever go back.

I have loved RTP my entire life for its flavor, freshness & consistiency. They really have superior pies for a national chain. However I hopped on here today to give a shout out and bid of gratitude to Ms. Ashley at this location for her genuine and excellent customer service :)

Good food, good service, but I think the crew or staff should have a more presentable uniform. Not a very faded uniform, they need aprons so they wont have greasy tops, and also hairnets. With regards to the place, they need to change the carpet and should have humidifier at least

Placed an online order at 5:58pm and didn’t get the food delivered until past 7:30pm! When the food arrived, the pizza was luke warm and you could taste they had been sitting in a warmer for probably an hour. The cheese was cold and all-​around unappetizing. Do not get the skinny crust! The edges were as hard as rock! (Maybe because it had been sitting around so long, perhaps?) What a bummer for paying over $ 40 for a couple pizzas. ALSO– on their Unilocal page they say they’re offering 3 free twists, but a guy called and said they’re not offering it anymore. Ok, then. Remove the offer from your Unilocal page! Ugh! One star for a decent salad (garden) and one star for the nice kid who delivered the order. Wouldn’t use Round Table for delivery again. Boo.

Round table pizza. Just like they say the last honest quality pizza around. Their ingredients are always vegetable fresh, and meats are always cooked just right! I came in yesterday and boy was the meal excellent. We ordered a half vegetarian half pepperoni with side salads and bread sticks and the meal was incredible. Overall customer service was okay, I feel they would of been more helpful if it wasn’t so incredibly busy on a Wednesday night lol. Turns out they had a group of polka or jazz playing in the back, a bit random but we had tunes while we ate. Nonetheless awesome joint! If you want a great tasting pizza that still hand rolls and has a crunch in every bite pizza round table is the place to hit up! It’d be ⁵⁄₅ if it weren’t so incredibly busy and jammed pack almost claustrophobic!

This place is ran by a bunch of young thugs. Seriously?
I haven’t been to a round table since like 1995… since when was this place so expensive? The pizza isn’t even anything to talk about. The salad bar was okay. The dining area was big, but needed remodeling. Carpet looked old and stained. Needed a major deep cleaning or new carpet altogether. Don’t think we will return. 2 pizzas, 2 salad bars, and 4 drinks for almost $ 50? No thanks. Would rather eat at a taco shop.

I had a good experience at this Round Table Pizza. There were only a couple of people (customers), there when we arrived. Ordered 3 pizzas and garlic twists ‘to go’. They had a special, so we added a soda. We waited a few minutes for the pizzas, but at least you know they make it fresh for you. Also, the people working there were really nice and helped in the pizza decision making. I will go back again.

Great pizza, great family restaurant. Fun arcade games for kids/​adults having fun. And great sit down and take out location. I recommend this highly!

The customer service here stinks! Very rude and short with people I cannot believe what I’m going through I thought it was just us but nope another customer as well!
As for the food eh you get what you pay for… Pizza tasted funny! Had to ask for more salad by finally bringing them the huge salad bowl and setting it on the counter! At least the salad was good! There’s no AC in here and it’s 86 outside or they have the AC on very little idk but I’m hot and I hate being hot!
Good place to being the kids to just play games though at least they had fun!

Was craving a Goumet Veggie pizza! I just moved to Esco and when I got off work (12 hr day!), I headed over for some pizza and beer. I have never seen a gourmet veggie this loaded!!!

Yummy food, service and staff are very good. Awesome place for you to have a party!!! Highly recommend!

We love Round Table! We are in our 30’s and both used to work at a Round Table in San Luis Obispo when in college… its just as we remember it– delicious!
We usually order for takeout and they usually have great coupons in the mail or online to order with. Only wish is that there was one that would deliver to San Marcos!

Been eating here for YEARS. Pizza is still good. The place is expensive, old and dirty. Restrooms need a serious deep cleaning, really a remodeling.

My local hiking group did our end of the year gathering here as we have done for a few years now. The staff is always nice and accommodating when we reserve the big back room and don’t get to upset that we like to be the last ones to leave. The food is ok this particular time I had some wings and the pizza skins. I can only describe them as good. Nothing spectacular but good.

So, for all of the years I’ve been living in Escondido, we never made it to the weekday lunch buffet at Round Table Pizza… until now. I’ll preface that I have gotten pizza for take out from here in the past and I’ve always been a big Round Table fan, it’s just this location is out of the way and we’re never home during the week. Since we were, my husband suggested we try it out.
For $ 6.99, plus your drink of course, it’s a pretty good deal. They keep the pizza rolling out and even have those little garlic bread twists, a salad bar and a dessert pizza. It was surprisingly busy in there, but they kept putting out more pizza all the way up until 1:30 when we left. Since that is when it is supposed to end, it was surprising seeing that they just kept putting more freshies out. Good deal.
So, the food was good. That’s the best part about this place.
Wanna know the rest of the story? It’s old. And looks dirty. And the tables we sat in were super duper tiny… really strange. The games they have are all old and tired. This place needs a major facelift. But, the staff is very friendly and nice.
Overall, it’s a good value and I like their pizza and flavors. I’ll go back, but I really would like to see it snazzed up a bit and the bathroom could use a serious cleaning. REALLY.
What can they do for five stars?
I said it already. CLEAN IT UP and you might see four stars, but I don’t think this place would ever get five outta me.
