I have come here 2 times:
The first time, I had a mazda prodege5. The poor thing was sluggish to accelerate and had a bunch of problems. To be safe I brought it in, as this place was recommended by a family friend. They replaced all necessary parts and my car was up and running the next day! Financing made it affordable and boosted my credit.
The second time, I came in a few months later (my mazda got totaled after I got all the work done on it – someone T-​boned me at a light). I have a Mini Cooper S convertible now. It had a simple tail light out but the dealership said it could be a bigger issue, trying to get $ 260 out of me! FOR A LIGHT!
I pulled into Rapid Transmissions, remembering how good the experience was with my Mazda. They fixed it in a matter of minutes… FOR FREE!
I would recommend this place to anyone!

Well true to my word, I brought my truck back when the transmission went out. Some vandalism happened to my truck while sitting overnight in the front parking lot. The shop stepped up, took responsibly and replaced my tires that got slashed even thou it wasn’t their fault. They did great work on my trans, and Tim was amazingly helpful. Good job guys, you rock!

We received a phone call from the new owner of this establishment. He had looked into our case and our negative review. He was nice and offered to investigate getting us warranty reimbursement through Dodge for the replacement of our transmission. We are hoping for the best but mostly are impressed by the effort of the management. We have upgraded our rating based on this effort.

Wow. Really bad. Could not diagnose problems. everything they said ended up being way worse… According to them. Costed even more than the dealership quoted. Would never go back.

This place is awesome great staff and customer service. Very clean shop. They will answer all your questions. Mike the manger was all over my car and was helpful. They towed my car from Vista and was able to have my car back to me in less than three days time. They worked with me and my budget and I was able to walk away a happy customer I would recommend them for any transmission service they are top notch. Good job guys much appreciated.

Mike the manager is a really nice guy. They took care of my car, the only thing I didn’t like was at the end of the business day I never got an update on my car. I didn’t know they were going to need my car over night. So, on the communication side you need to call them. But other than that, they matched competitor prices, gave me a free tow with service, they had to do some extra things to my car that they didn’t notice beforehand, and fixed them without charging me. So I definitely like this place, just wish the communication was a little better.

From the moment I walked in to Rapid Transmissions Escondido, the team made me feel that my car and my safety were of value to them. They explained just what was wrong with my Sienna, how much time it would take to fix, and helped me to build my confidence in talking about, and signing on to, getting work done on my car as things arise from time to time. After putting my family’s Sienna in the hands of Michelle, Mike and Doctor Dave (well, that’s what I’m going to call him from now on), my car rides smoothly and quietly, and got me from San Diego to Berkeley, and back, like a good Sienna should. My other car guy is now my ex-​car guy. Service and integrity are everything.

Mark is very helpful. I was having problems with my Subaru, It had about 150k miles on it. I was very nervous that my car wasnt going to be worth fixing. He eased my concerns and honestly made me feel like I could drive my car around for many more years to come. I ended getting a few things done to my car, and it didnt break my budget. I just want to say thank you to the staff that always returned my calls in a timely manner. It is nice to know there are actually honest people out there that will go out of their way to make it possible.
