It took us three years to find a good tattoo shop. It’s a great place to get your first tattoo, I did, lol. They’re clean, friendly, professional, have good hours and returns your call. They do great work and offer good suggestions.

Got my first tattoo done here by Scotty. He’s really nice and made the experience really easy and made sure I was comfortable at all times. Super clean & sterile. The environment is really chill too. Love the art they have around the shop. Plus, Scotty does free touch-​ups which is awesome. Def my go-​to tattoo shop from here on out.

AWESOME EXPERIENCE!!! I called and was greeted nicely and all of my questions were answered. I went in, and had awesome service. Matty gave professional friendly service and made room for my family and I to get a very meaningful tattoo. All five of us were so happy with his work! He has a perfect touch. The shop is very clean and well kept. GOOD VIBES, and good people. SO GLAD to have found an amazing local shop!

The place is clean and you can call a few minutes ahead of time to get in. My tattoo took over two hours which wasn’t bad for its size. It’s very off centered which I pointed out when looking in the mirror and was reassured it was the angle, it wasn’t. The art portion was good.

Great shop, was recommended here when I moved to the area by a friend. Clean shop, cool people and great tattoos. My wife and I don’t go anywhere else. Matt is awesome with portraits, and even though his work is top notch he doesn’t act like his shit don’t stink like some of the tattoos shops I have been too. If you are looking for your first tattoo or to cover that last inch of skin, 3 aces is the place to go.

Liz James is the best tattoo artist ever. I will literally never go to anybody else. She’s super easy to communicate with and enthusiastic about her work. My ideas plus her creativity and skill join together to make some beautiful pieces.
The shop is clean and classy, not burnt or sketchy. Call ahead and schedule your appointment cause she books up fast.

Wow this place is Awesome I got my first tattoo today for my gf Bday and I called a few places and I when I called 3 Aces I just liked how Scotty was so cool on the phone and I chose this place. I came into the shop and it was really nice and I met Scotty, he was really laid back he quoted me a price and i was cool with it and later he gave me a big discount as he thought it would be a longer job then it was I am very happy that he did that for me. I was so nervous for my first tattoo but it didn’t hurt like people say and scotty, is so down to earth and easy to talk to you will feel at home for sure. If i want another Tattoo I will definitely come back to 3 Aces tattoo Studio.

Aces (badum tish) all around. This studio is clean, friendly and professional. Matt, the owner, was very prompt to contact me back. He was also very accommodating to my schedule and what I wanted for my next tattoo.
I ended up getting script done on my ribcage and I am more than pleased with the end result. The font that Matt came up with far surpassed my vision/​any sample font I found on the internet.
3 Aces has ruined all other tattoo studios for me. For my current and future tattoos to come– thanks Matt!

Very happy with Alex and his work. I was looking for a local place and chose this one based on reviews. Alex took my concept, kept it true to my idea, and added a few suggestions to make it better. I will definitely be going back and asking for him next time. Plus laughing throughout the whole thing was pretty damn cool. I highly recommend this place if you are considering your first or next tattoo.

I got my inner arm done today by Matt and I am absolutely in love with the piece he did! I came in with an idea and a photo of my dog, he created something even better than I imagined and the tattoo looks EXACTLY like my dog. The shop itself is great, very clean and totally cute. I highly recommend going here if you want an extraordinary tattoo and artist!

Deliriously happy! After a few attempts in finding the «right» place to get my tats, I found it in 3 Aces! Matt, the owner was very responsive and open to questions, meeting my needs and expectations, and basically ensuring I was happy and comfortable. He really worked with me on getting my vision from paper to body. Additionally, he stayed after hours to accommodate my schedule as I am not local. I really, really, can’t give Matt and his staff enough kudos! Definitely coming back to Matt for my next tat, and bringing my husband too!!!

Stopped by this shop while I was in Escondido. It’s very clean and the artists are very friendly. I spoke to Matty the owner and he chatted me up about doing a tattoo. He helped me with my idea and came up with a design. I LOVE my tattoo! Would totally come back to this place. They are always open for appointments or walk in’s. Very good vibes in this place.

Great shop, very impressed! Very clean and sterile, comfortable setting, no pressure. Most shops just want you in and out, more worried about quantity than quality. Liz and Matt will sit and work with you as long as you need. They are both patient and their work is super clean! Awesome, good hearted people. I am never disappointed. :)

Good tattoo shop. I walked in and was greeted by the artist. Great customer service. None of the bad attitude that you find when you walk in to other shops. The artist and Owner Matt was very attentive. I gave him ideas of what I wanted and he showed me what he was capable of. I even told him of another artist i got my first tattoo from that i liked that i could not fin and he told me where he was which he didn’t have to do. I definitely have found a new spot to get my tats down when i have the funds to get one now. I would recommend him to any one.
