Just bought my 2^nd truck from Aaron Mayer. Aaron made the buying process very smooth. Very happy.

STAY AWAY!!! First off went to look at a 2008 GMC Sierra 3500. Sales guy couldn’t even figure out that it wasn’t a Silverado. Tried working out a better deal over the phone. When he told me that I would need an extra 5k on top of my trade in. He claimed he had told me this the day before. But he made it sound like the 5k was off of my trade in. They obviously need to train Their staff better in explaining things. They also forgot to give me my registration back so I had to drive all the way back to pick that up the next day.

Let me start out by saying that I love buying a vehicle from Aaron Meyer it was the best buying experience I’ve ever had. Now don’t to business with the service department. There are two men and a woman who regularly work in the service department. We have never once had an issue with the woman. We had a speaker issue that sounded blown but it wasn’t because it was only an issue at cooler temps. I scheduled it to be looked at and told them it needed to be brought in first thing in the morning. The service techs waited until 11am to try to recreate the issue and couldn’t they told my husband that they would order a speaker and when it comes in schedule it to be fixed because they could most likely recreate it that day. Two weeks went by no phone call about my speaker being in. I called to see if the speaker was in and sure enough it had been in for a while. I spoke with Jaidge to schedule my appt. and schedule a loaner car. I scheduled it to drop my truck off Sunday night and pick up the loaner so Monday they could take my truck in at 7:30am I get there and my loaner paperwork and keys were missing so they had to take someone else’s loaner car after dinking around looking for the keys for almost an hour. I go to pick my truck up today and there is a 5 – 6 inch door ding on my drivers side door because they parked my truck so that my mirror and the other trucks mirror was less than an inch apart. Jaidge offered to have their tech buff it out and comes back stating its good as new. Little does he know my father in law and my dad are painters and I knew that my clear coat was scratched beyond what buffing can take care of. I asked for the general managers number. My husband spoke to him and now for a third time have to take my truck in for issues that weren’t caused by me. I am very thankful that Kevin the general manager is willing to fix what they messed but I don’t think I’ll ever return there again.
Update: because we live so far from another ford dealer and I needed my oil changed we took our truck back for the oil change and everything was fine. I thought I’d add that anytime we take my truck in for an oil change we’ve never had a problem. However we were told we needed a new wiper blade (which I’m assuming they said because I have a crack in my windshield) but in reality it just needed to be cleaned off.
Update: speaker acting like its blown again their service department hours are a joke for anyone that commutes for a living. Considering turning the keys and telling them to make the payments and drive it around when it rattles all day.

I just purchased a car from Kurt and he went above and beyond to get me the best deal possible. I drove from Seattle to buy my Mazda 3 and it was very worth it!

We have purchased. Two new cars in the last ten months.
I called and spoke to arron meyer after getting the run around from the local puyallup mazda dealer. i layed it out what i had for a trade, what i wanted to buy and what i wanted to pay out the door.. He. Simply asked me to send him photos of my truck. Within 10 to15 minutes he called back and came within $ 50.00. Over the phone.. We came up they looked at the truck trade. We still had to sit. Thru the paperwork. But i have never had a quicker and problem free car purchase.
So. It was ten months later and i was board and wanted to trade up.
I called arron and once again and he still remembered me. Told him what i wanted. What i wanted to spend again. This time there was a little more back and forth while getting the price where i wanted it to be. But in the end i walked out right where i wanted to be. over the phone. Arron got the new car when he said. Was always prompt with the retunn phone calls. He also spent over a half hr going over all the new features on the new car. The reason i gave only 4 stars was the service department part due to a dirty loaner.

RUN AWAY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP AS FAST AS YOU CAN.
They were selling a 2007 Mazda 3 with 80,000 miles on it for $ 9,999 (Vin #JM1BK323X71726254). I called in yesterday morning to ask if it was still available, and it was. I mentioned the price is identical to the private party value, not the dealership value, wanting to make sure the price is right and there was nothing wrong with the car. The salesperson Aaron agreed it was a great price, but stated sometimes they will price very aggressively to attract customers. Fair enough. The price was good, and that made the 35 minute trip worth it. I had a good friend of mine who’s an automotive expert meet me out there which was a really nice favor because it’s a big drive for him too. When I met him there, we went inside, and Aaron was busy with another client, so I was passed to Kurt who seemed like a nice guy. We were shown the car, and it looked just as advertised. I wanted to pop the hood, and test drive with my friend to see if it seemed good enough to buy, but then Kurt comes back and says «Sorry, this car already sold, a couple financed it yesterday, and we’re just waiting for it to pass safety.». I was given the choice to look at other cars and said back sarcastically «Aaron wouldn’t have made us come out to this lot knowing the car was sold, would he»? It was obvious there was a bait and switch going on, and Kurt asked if we could find a similar car for the same price if I’d be willing to look at it. I advised him not unless it’s similar in mileage as well (They had a stable of mazda 3’s well over 100,000 miles with the same $ 9,999 price tag). He offered to look for similar cars with similar miles even if priced higher to see if he could get me the same deal. He couldn’t find such a car, and apologized saying if the deal somehow falls through with the car I came for, he would make sure to call me and give me priority to buy it, and would even hold it for me.
I left the dealership as did my friend, and I felt horrible for my friend taking time out of a busy day to help me only to realize we were brought out under false pretenses. They don’t value a customers time, they don’t care that an afternoon is being re-​arranged to go out there based on their promise. Just out of curiosity, I checked the website later that night to see if they had the decency to remove the listing so other people wouldn’t get suckered in. What I found was comical. The exact same car had been re-​listed, but now with a price tag of $ 12,999. It was too late for me to call as they were closed, so I got online again in the morning to see if it was still listed, and sure enough they re-​listed the exact same car again, this time for $ 13,999 (pictures of both listings are included with this review). These are 1982 bait and switch techniques at their best. In the information age where customers are more educated than ever, and words can travel fast on mediums such as Unilocal and facebook, they have a lot of balls, or a lot of stupidity in treating people this way.
I called in when they opened for business to see if Kurt would honor his promise to hold the car for me and allow me to buy it, and I got the exact answer I knew I would get: «The deal fell through, and the price we had on it was a mistake so we had to adjust it, I can’t sell it to you for that price».
I also want to mention I got 2 different stories on that car being sold the day before. The first story from Kurt was the financing was approved, and the car just had to pass safety (I’ve never heard of safety being the final phase in a car sale). I received a voicemail this morning from Aaron stating the deal fell through because the buyers trade in wasn’t going to work. I have to wonder if these buyers even exist, or if they do, if the buyers were told one trade in value for their car before signing, and a different value at signing so they could sabotage the deal, and re-​list the car at a better price without getting into legal trouble.
This company may have accidentally mis-​priced the car originally, but I doubt it. The fact that they brought me in for that specific car, knowing I would never own it for the price they had listed tells me they are willing to intentionally mis-​price a car. Dishonesty is dishonesty no matter what package it comes in. If you go to their website, or talk to their staff, don’t fall for the «We are a family owned business» line. They are a family owned business, and that is not to be confused with an honest business.
There was no way I could get that type of treatment, and not post this on Unilocal.I don’t want another honest person getting fleeced if I can do anything about it. If you do business with them after reading this review, don’t pretend you weren’t warned that your transaction could turn out to be a disaster.

Do not take your car in for a repair here. I moved up here about 6 years ago, and without knowing the area, I’ve had to discover the local businesses. I’ve brought my car in here 3x and all 3x walked away feeling dirty, like I’d been robbed. The last time my windshield wiper wasn’t working after a snow storm, and they wanted to charge me 200 for a new wiper motor. I decided to take it over to a friends house to tinker with it, and we fixed by tightening up the wiper. In the times I actually got things fixed there I avg 1300 a shot, and still don’t feel like they were honest with me.

Let me tell you something about Enumclaw, and something about Fugate.
Enumclaw, a little tucked-​away town South-​East of Seattle, is pretty much akin to the Village of the Damned.
Total small-​town mentality, and I wouldn’t be surprised if there were massive conspiracies running rampant amongst the populace of people that have lived there their entire lives.
I grew up in that town. Unfortunately. I went to school in that town. Unfortunately. And even more unfortunate, my family had the experience with the big ol’ company of Fugate Ford.
They bought a 2004 Ford Focus. Tan. Had a kickin’ sound system for factory speakers. My parents made sure it got it’s oil changed on a schedule, and they kept it maintained perfectly.
Well, here’s a funny little story. On Christmas night, we had a house fire. That sucked. A lot.
Fast forward the next week, I’m in Chicago on a schedule trip out there, after living out of a hotel in town. I call up my folks and I hear «this is a bad time to call, the car is on fire».
Of COURSE, I think this is a joke.
No f’ing joke. The 2004 Contour, whilst NOT EVEN RUNNING, burst into flames in the parking lot of the local post office.
Oddly, IRONICALLY, funnily, NOT hilariously enough, the car had JUST been serviced by Fugate Ford just recently. The ignition had had some problems and that was fixed, however after it had been ‘fixed’, my mother noticed the engine was making funny clunky sounds.
So, there you have it, a $ 5000 vehicle burst into flames unexplicably. Toast.
Fugate claimed absolutely NO responsibility for this whatsoever, even though the car was running perfectly fine prior to their «service».
Fast forward a bit later, we tried to get them to cover the damage to the car (well, loss of the car), and it was basically a «whatever» with their response.
Seriously, don’t go to these guys. Ever. In fact, stay far, far, FAR away from Enumclaw.
