Delicious bagels! We had a thintastic bagel with lox, capers, lettuce and scallion cream cheese. It was divine. I am going to come back there again to try more bagel sandwiches.

As expensive as it is, I somehow keep coming back due to the quality food and service! The bagels are soft and fresh. They also offer varieties of types of bagel sandwiches as well as coffees. They deliver weekdays. For an order of bagel with lox, bacon egg & cheese on a croissant, orange juice, cappuccino, and a chocolate muffin came out to $ 27.99 Another time, an order of 2 sausage egg & cheese on a croissant, cappuccino, and orange juice came out to $ 18. So if you can get over the expensiveness of this place, the food is actually really good! It would’ve gotten a 5 star if it wasn’t over priced. But overall, I do recommend Manhattan Bagel!

Their bagels are the best in town. My particular favorite is lox — real, quality, lox — with cream cheese on a bagel. The small side and pickle that comes with it is a bonus. The service is great, and the owners are almost always on site, which ensures customer attention. The place is also very clean. Recommended highly for breakfast, or a deli sandwich at lunch.

These are the worst bagels I’ve ever had. I don’t understand how they are still in business. Enough said.

We found this place last August on a trip to NYC. We had breakfast there every morning for a week. By far the best bagels we had on the trip. Everyone was so nice, the place was very very clean. The Bathrooms were spotless and the food was excellent as I said. We live in Western NC and as you can imagine finding a decent bagel can be difficult if not impossible. Before we left we asked Perry(She is Awesome) if she would mail some bagels to us here in NC if we called with an order. She was so nice to take time out of her day to go to the post office get a flatrate box and send us a couple dozen of those delicious bagels. They arrived in a couple of days and were fantastic. We have ordered a couple times now with the same result. We cant say enough about the food or the great people who work there. If you haven’t tried it yet you need to. Just plain Excellence!!!

EXCELLENT bagel shop! Moved from CT about 18 months ago and was craving a northeast bagel. This place hit the spot– everything bagel with cream cheese and they even have sliced tomato(that’s how I make it at home)…simply delicious. Bagel was soft, warm and tasty. Everyone in the family enjoyed their breakfast. service was exceptional and friendly, the owner took our order and even gave my little one a complimentary cookie! This place is welcoming, clean and a perfect location. Go here, it’s worth a stop!

Let’s be real, the bagels here are fast-food quality. And they’re expensive for what you’re getting. The drinks cost as much as something from Starbucks, but aren’t as good(and there’s a Starbucks across the street). However, the customer service is amazing. Staff is always so friendly and helpful. There’s outlets at every table, and there are free refills. I come here pretty often, but it’s not because the bagels are good.

My first and last visit here. Long wait, overpriced for a greasy end result. Also charged for a drink I didn’t get. $ 7.00 for a bagel with an egg and cheese and one really greasy hash brown that had to be tossed because it was too greasy to eat… yeah…not doing this again.

This is a bagel place in NJ so you’d think the bagels would be authentic. They are far from it. What I got was a spongy little sad excuse for a bagel. It was tiny! The only reason I gave this place 3 stars is because of what I had in the«bagel.» I got the asparagus and mushroom egg white sandwich which was pretty tasty. I just wish the outside matched the inside. By the way, heavy duty trance music is not appreciated at 9am.

Was directed to this establishment after I asked a lady on the corner outside Starbucks if she recommended any bagel places. She said«everyone seems to go to Manhattan bagel.» She wasn’t enthusiastic… in fact she herself went to another place down the street, but I decided to check this place out. Took like 20+ mins for an everything bagel with veggie cream cheese and a hash brown to come out, and I was pretty much the only customer left after those behind me were getting their orders. The place looks like a chain, and it’s bagels taste as such: unremarkable. Customer service was nothing to write home about either. One plus is a diverse menu of sandwiches — though not particularly veggie friendly. Will stick to mom and pop shops for my bagels henceforth.

Super tasty! Good atmosphere. The employees are very nice and efficient. Tottaly digging the breakfast being served all day. The over all quality of the ingredients was apparent and both my husband and I left happy and satisfied.

One of the charming elements to bagel hopping is encountering the various Mom-and-Pop shops and how they add various personal touches. Manhattan Bagel feels like Mom and Pop were bought out by a corporate entity, made public on the stock market, and eyeballed by Disney for a takeover. Very«un-Manhattan» in fact. So here’s the scoop. The bagels have no personality. They’re just OK, with a large hole resembling a doughnut(saves money: hooray for stockholders!). The cream cheese tastes good but they’re so skimpy with it that it becomes a mere accent. And when you order scallion cream cheese with fresh lox and capers, this results in a caper-flavored bagel. Weird! And no, this is not how they make bagels in Manhattan! It’s how they make bagels in Disney World, or some other over-pasteurized place. On to the beverages… tea selection is great, with honey on hand if you’re not sweet enough. Coffee, as rated by my caffeine-addicted friend, is good. And free refills means someone is getting to heaven on the express track. Customer service: outstanding. And since my cream cheese was so skimpy, I went for a toasted muffin with butter. The muffin was fantastic — so much so they should change their name to Manhattan Muffins. One A-train dditional star for that! If you’re turned off by my photo of a butter-laden muffin, don’t be; it came with minimal butter and I told them to slather it on(my brain needs fat to function in the morning. I should have done the same with the cream cheese). I’ll also say their lunches look pretty good and healthy. Maybe their name should be ‘Manhattan Muffin & Good Sandwich Joint’. Disney would approve. As for me, I’m too much of a bagel fiend to return, unfortunately.

Our favorite place to grab quick breakfast/lunch. First the workers are really friendly and cheerful. I think some of them are the owners? The place is bright, clean and welcoming. There’s a large flat screen to catch up on the news. We often bring the baby and there is plenty of room to roll our monster stroller in. Love their ranchero wrap. Eggs are fluffy and bountiful. Husband loves their thintastic bagel meal(he’s watching his waist line ^^). Coffee is always fresh. The menu isn’t extensive but no complaints really. If you order to go, they pack in a handy little box.

Ordered from here yesterday looking for a good light lunch. I ordered the Thintastic Turkey with american cheese, lettuce, onion and mayo. The sandwich came toasted and had a nice texture to it when you took a bite. It usually comes with veggie cream cheese spread but I opted out of that and added the american cheese and mayo. My favorite thing about the meal was the pickle that comes with it. Its one of those really tasty deli pickles that leave you craving more. Will definitely be ordering from here again when I’m craving a bagel sandwich.

The best breakfast ever ! Lots of choices and the coffee is fantastic. Service and atmosphere and the food are excellent . Perry and Kareem recognize you, greet you, and you feel part of the family. Lots of regulars too . Thursdays Steak sandwich is great too ! Mina rang us up and served us many times. It’s a pleasure to go there. If there’s no parking go across the Rr tracks make a left and park on the right side. Ez RICHIE C

Having spent close to seven years working in Manhattan, I never found a good bagel shop by my standards. Now, that’s not to suggest that they don’t exist, and I certainly didn’t put too much effort into finding one. That said, you can imagine my surprise when I saw a bagel store take on the Manhattan name. I walked in to find a nice, welcoming environment. The store was spacious, remarkably clean, and had a bit of a premium feel to it, especially when compared to most bagel shops. There was no denying that this was a corporate, chain style restaurant. First things first: the bagels. This is a bagel shop after all! Unfortunately, the bagels did not look very appetizing. They had a flat, packaged supermarket brand look to them(hard to describe but imagine a donut with a larger radius). In all fairness, they did look like the bagels I used to find in Manhattan, so at least the name is appropriate. I was so disappointed I didn’t even but one. Instead, I had a breakfast omelette wrap. 3 eggs, cheese, and a choice of meat in a wrap. The wrap was pretty big, and they definitely did not skimp out on the meat or cheesy. I was actually full after the first half! Extra kudos: this was the easiest breakfast sandwich I’ve ever eaten while driving. Additional praise goes out to the team working there. The service was prompt, attentive, and very friendly. Manhattan Bagel is a nice addition for the breakfast or lunch crowd. The menu has a number of options, and everything looked pretty good. If this weren’t a bagel store by name, I’d probably give them a higher rating. But, a bagel place without great bagels: I just can’t do it.
