always packed everywhere but took the trip across the bridge it was worth were moving faster in the hospitality was good

So, Brent V was our server and he was the WORST service I have ever received. When my friend and I walked into the restaurant today, there were no hosts so Brent gave my friend and I 2 menu’s and told us «that we were going to need these». We were confused because no one walked us to a table and Brent gave us two menus and told us to basically walk ourselves to a table. Not only that Brent gave us an attitude right from the start. It was like he had a problem with us and we didn’t even know him. Not only that but Brent had a hicky on his neck. I found that very unprofessional because I-​hop is a family oriented restaurant and you had something disgusting like that on your neck and you didn’t even bother to c cover it up. I ordered a lemonade and when he brought my beverage he slammed it on the table like as if it was an inconvenience for him to get it in the first place. I’m a server. I know the job can get stressful but it’s your job to make a guest feel comfortable, when they go out to eat and I feel as if we weren’t comfortable at all. When I ordered a refill I asked for no ice and I waited about 30 minutes for it. He knew I asked for it too because when I reminded him he told me «not to rush him and to wait». I have no idea what he was doing but there were about 5 people in the restaurant so it wasn’t busy at all. When I received my food I had asked for BBQ sauce and I was shocked to hear that I-​Hop doesn’t serve BBQ sauce apparently. My friend ordered Ranch for his buffalo wings but they had that. The manager was a sweetheart and I complimented her on the lanyard that she was wearing. The food was excellent but Brent was HORRIBLE as a server and just as bad as a person. I am never coming back and I did not tip him a single dime. I feel as if he thought me and my friend were ignorant people but in all actuality we are both honor students and we were just hungry. I am NEVER coming back

I don’t understand he low ratings. Its IHOP, what do you expect? And besides, I’ve never had a problem here. This is by far the best I HOP I’ve been to in north Jersey. (I’ve lived in Jersey City and you can imagine how the IHOP there is). Sure it’s a little cramped but it works. Their staff are friendly, helpful and the manager (I go Sunday mornings) always makes sure his staff are doing well. One complaint is that whoever the receptionist is should have the loudest, most aggressive voice. Other than that I am very happy for the food and service we get.

You want cheap breakfast food? Come here, but you’ll be packed like sardines during their busiest hours, especially during weekend breakfast. There isn’t much to say about this IHop. It all felt very standardized as its part of a much larger chain or corporation.
Service was fast and orderly. There is almost no ambience to this place, its just eat and go. The tables are either chair-​distance apart or adjacent to each other so I didn’t feel like talking much with my dad in the crowded place that it was.
Food, I tried their double-​dipped french toast, cinnamon sugar style with a breakfast sampler combo.
I don’t what was going on today that day. It was busy. It was loud. But my hash browns were overly salty. Were the chefs mad that it was busy? And channeled their inner rage into salt-​throwing? Who knows? Anyways bacon and eggs tasted like it should because its really hard to screw that up. Sausages tasted like basic cafeteria, buffet sausages.
The cinnamon sugar french toast should’ve been named «double-​dipped in fat for your taste buds and for my profit margin.» It was good and buttery, I’ll admit it had a lot of texture but I didn’t expect that kind of greasiness you usually find at fast-​food joints.
If you want a quick, cheap breakfast and have no where to go, come here and all your wishes of mediocre american breakfast will be fulfilled. But at ten dollars for a sizable breakfast combo, there isn’t much room to complain. Just know what you are getting yourself into when you come to this IHop.
Sigh… I don’t know what is was, but I had an upset stomach after I ate which led to slight indigestion. Too much information? Too bad…

It’s ihop. I love there pancakes. Light fluffy and cooked just right. I always get greeted with a smile and a hello. I can’t really attest to waiter service which seems to be good in the morning when I come because I always get my pancakes to go on my way to work.

This IHOP is the best one in the area of N NJ. I’ve been to the Teaneck one and it’s way more ghetto.
This one isn’t at all. It’s next to an adorable little downtown area with cute little shops. The interior is nicer, the customers are nicer in terms of attitude and dressiness and the service is better.
The parking lot is a little small but the food and prices are so definitely worth it.
I mean you don’t go to an IHOP for fine dining and cuisine. You go for a laid back extremely affordable good olé humongous American breakfast with everything you can imagine!
Want bacon, hash brown, eggs, sausages, AND Nutella crepes? While of course you can! And it’ll be less than $ 10 please.

The best IHOP in bergen county. The staff is always friendly and helpful and efficient. The pancakes are always perfectly golden and the staff never forgets to check on you. Definitely ask for Rey the next time your in Englewood, you won’t be disappointed.

It’s IHOP not a five star restaurant. This place is almost like the fast food of breakfast… Wait that’s actually exactly what it is! And you know what?! I freaking love it!
On the weekends after a long week of working out and eating (boring) all I want is to let loose and eat a short stack with some crazy egg and bacon concoction from IHOP oh and don’t forget the cheese!
No this place doesn’t seem like it’s spic and span but the service is fast and the food is always exactly what I’m seeking! It’s tasty and sure to make me hate myself afterwards for eating it but who cares because while I’m eating it my soul sings!!! But on a serious note if you’re super hungry get your butt out of bed and get here early on the weekends or you’re gonna have to wait the line is usually out the door… Enjoy!

The worst I hop ever I have bin going to this place for years and it has bin get worse and worse bin waiting. An hour For the food no waiter came to check on us. The service was god awful.

I go to this ihop location at least once a week and it is the best ihop I have ever been to. The service is sooo sooo sooo friendly, they are quick, and efficient. The food comes out in great time and they never mess up my order. I go with my family so they already know what we’re going to order because we come so often. Everyone there is nice. It’s clean too. I don’t usually rave about places I eat because I’m not picky about anything and I understand no one is 100% but this place is worth talking about.

Stay away. Servers don’t care for your dietary needs. We asked for the sauce on the side due to allergies. The dish was served with the sauce on. When we made the server aware. They merely scraped the sauce off and brought the dish back out. Several minutes later we found a strand of hair in my pancake. Speechless. The manager looked concerned but I’m not certain it will help turn things around. This was my third time at this IHOP. Two of the three I had issues

Great pancakes! Service not that good at this location. There was a mistake was my dish, didn’t know there was bacon in it. Menu didn’t mention that there is bacon in it. Manager didn’t seem to care and just left me with it. Of course I didn’t eat it since I don’t eat bacon and just stuck to the other things we’ve ordered. My friend and I were pretty disappointed with the treatment that it left us feeling like we never want to come back.

An average IHOP that starts getting extremely crowded around 9:00am.
I’ve had some mixed experiences here. The food is alright for standard breakfast fare, but the service has been a little rude on a few occasions. Then again, I guess no one is in a good mood at eight in the morning.
I usually get a breakfast combo and avoid the flavored pancakes because I don’t really like a sickly sweet taste in my mouth so early in the day. I recommend the Breakfast Sampler or the Split Decision Breakfast.

Ok, I’ll admit it — I love pancakes and I love this IHOP. My son and I have been coming here since he was a little boy on Mother’s Day. No kidding. When he was around 6 or 7 he decided that since Mom loved pancakes, we had to get some on Mother’s Day so we’ve been doing it ever since. We’re not the only folks with that thought — all day long yesterday on Mother’s Day the place was packed. We strategized and figured an early dinner was our best bet and it was — before that you couldn’t get near the place. So here we are getting outstanding service from a smiling waiter who’s been at it since early morning. The place was spotless and everyone was happy. No matter when I’ve been there for the past 30+ years, it’s always been like that. No, it’s not 4 Star gourmet food but if you want what they have, come here. You’ll feel welcome, the place is an upper and oh how I love those pancakes!

Clean and well-​lit. Service is friendly. Big portions and cheap bill. I love the calorie counts!

This place was horrible.
The chocolate chip pancakes were not that great. It was pretty much PACKED with chocolate chips, I might as well just be eating chocolate, not a pancake.
Service was SO slow. Waitress would not bring our check over even though we asked like 4 times.
Also, the waitress messed up our order so we ended up paying more than we were supposed to. Meh…
