We proudly carry Majacraft spinning wheels and Ashford spinning wheels, parts for them and we do wheel assembly and repair. Specializing in fibers for the spinner, knitter, crocheter, felter, & weaver, our selection consists of mostly natural fibers. We carry alpaca roving and yarns from our own Blazing Star Ranch, as well as a range of wool (merino, polwarth, blue face leicester, etc), yak blends, camel blends – you name it! We have a variety of yarns including, alpaca, merino, silk, llama, linen, cotton and blends of all of the above!

We offer classes on an ongoing basis. Check our our website for schedules!

History

Established in 2010.

Blazing Star Ranch began in 2010 with 2 alpacas. We have grown to a herd of 25 and in 2012, we opened our fiber, spinning, and yarn store inside Anderson’s Vacuums. An odd place, for a yarn and fiber store, you might say – but it works!

Karen has a love for the fiber arts and enjoys sharing her passion with other fiber enthusiasts. An alpaca owner and breeder, it was a lgical step to venture into all things fiber!
