In all that you do, DO NOT RENT FROM MICHAEL KOPP OR ANYTHING OR ANYONE HAVING TO DO WITH MICHAEL KOPP PROPERTY MANAGEMENT!!! In fact, DO NOT EVEN AFFILIATE YOURSELF WITH MICHAEL OR MIKE KOPP!!! He is very unprofessional and dishonest. His demeanor as a whole is unacceptable and inappropriate. He does not abide by contractual agreements and will in any way possible try to swindle any kind of money out of you. He is degrading and disrespectful, and sets unreasonable standards (IE. only accepts money orders!!!) If you want a good, honest, respectful, and over all pleasant experience in finding a new home and receive excellent services STAY AWAY FROM MICHAEL KOPP!!!

Looking for a place to live sucks, especially when you don’t know what you’re getting into. Craigslist is only the tip of the iceberg with links to hole in the walls and big property management companies. I happen to find my apartment through a classified ad four years ago — who reads classified ads nowadays???
Mike owns several properties around San Diego (OB, UH, NP, PL, etc.) and he’s an attentive property manager. If something needs fixing, it’ll get fixed. In the four years I’ve been a tenant, rent went up twice, and within reason.
So as I’m moving out of my old apartment, I’m moving into my new one — both owned by Mike, I know exactly what I’m getting into. A reliable landlord, market competitive rental rates, and peace of mind!
