Orly Saghian, Psy.D

These 4 reviews must be from friend and family because they are dead wrong. I had an appointment with Dr Saghian in December. Upon arrival at 9:50 I sat and filed out paperwork.
Around 10, the time of my appointment, I was told that the dr was behind and would be with me in 10 minutes. Okay nothing big, probably just ran late with a patient. 10:15, low and behold the doctor walks into the office! She then goes on to blame me for her reason for being late. Strike one.
The first 15 minutes of the session, she talks about herself and why she charges for cancellations after 24 hours. 30 minutes into my appointment and we haven’t even gotten to my issue. Once I started to talk about my issue (ADD) she goes on and claims that’s not my issue and that I need more sleep. Wrong. I was diagnosed when I was 7 and it has become a nuisance again and all she wants to do is blame lack of sleep (which I don’t have) and suggest various «tests.» So much so it just made me feel like I was a test subject. An ankle bracelet, some sort of watch device, a computerized test. When all was said and done, I probably spoke about my issue for 10 minutes and for the other 50 was her being late and talking about her and how they killed dogs in a study of sleep when she attended school. I’m sorry but I don’t need to hear about dogs being killed for sleep disorders. I needed help and it was not given. I never returned. All that was strike 2, 3 and beyond. So many wrongs.
Now let’s fast forward to now… May. I received a bill for my copay. Not only did it state final notice, but it said I had till the 23^rd to pay. It was dated the 11^th of May and I never got any other bill. Shady billing practices. The billing office just brushed it off saying it wasn’t their fault I didn’t get any other bills. Well yes it is. You send them out. Probably put a wrong address on purpose. They said they have copies. Well good for you. I don’t and lying to me about billing me isn’t going to help. She’s just all about the money and not about helping anybody. If I could give no stars I would. BEWARE!

Dr. Saghian is a wonderful person who has helped a number of people I know a great deal. I think she has a lot to offer to her patients and she and her staff always put her patients first.

Dr. Orly Saghian is all about her patients. You have her entire attention when speaking to her 1 on 1 and responds with the knowledge of her education, research and experience. I felt very comfortable speaking to her without being judged. Always left her office with feeling good about myself.

I know Dr Saghian from long time ago when my son needed maturity evaluation from kindergarten to elementary school. I consulted her and she solved my problem with her abundant knowledge and wisdom. She is a sweet lady with a heart of gold and a strong work ethics and we are still consulting her about all life stages of our 21 and 18 year old to this day.
