Our HOA had a great experience. Mike Stern Plumbing did a free inspection on our 1970’s building after some leaking issues with our roof-​mounted water heaters, and recommended water heater upgrades. We saved on crane fees, got a custom drainage system installed to prevent future roof leaks, and continue to save money with our new efficient water heaters. Highly recommend!

Great service until they make a mistake. Used this place for a year (three times) and they were great. Until mow. They came twice to fix a leaky toilet. They had to come back twice because they installed the wrong part in the first time. When I called them, they said that the plumber knew what the problem was. He suspected that the part wouldnt fit but went ahead with it anyways. They charged me 80 for a part that I could have bought for 5 on top of the service fee. Month later, toilet starts leaking again. Wrong part installed again. But guess what? They wont take ownership of their crappy job and wont guarantee their service. Even though they knew that the parts wouldnt fit. Both time. Why they couldnt just tell me/​order the part was beyond me. The fact that they wont take ownership of their crappy work infuriates me.

The worst! They seem nice but will charge you way more than you’d pay with another company. They also lie about how old an item is when you have the paperwork right in front of you of how old something is that they installed previously. Don’t use them! They are awful!

Mike Stern Plumbing sent via our home warranty service to rental property in North Hollywood. Have requested not to have them dispatched to us again. Do not like to work with dishonest people. Very unprofessional. Go elsewhere!

I’m in the hills of Studio City — major main line root issues — Mike Stern Plumbing sent out Arnold today to clean out the line — he did a great job and was a joy to do business with — they did it for the price on the coupon I had no added costs or haggling — I will use them again and recommend them highly — ask for Arnold if you can; he’s all ACES in my book.

If you get Serg, you have yourself one amazing plumber. He is efficient, courteous and honest. My husband and I were so impressed with his willingness to help us solve and fix our plumbing leak. We would definitely recommend Serg to anyone!

Wow! I’m actually really surprised by the other comments about this company because my husband and I were totally impressed. We had a plumber named Serge come to our house. He was extremely efficient and very nice. We had him fix a sink stopper, a faucet handle, a disposal, and a shower nozzle. He was done in no time and was friendly throughout the process. Would definitely recommend him!

Don’t do it!
They charged me $ 1000 and did not fix the problem. They wanted to did up my brick patio in what i later learned (when I hired a good plumber) was the wrong location. 3 times the plumber told me he would bring his boss out. He never showed. He spent two days digging a hole in my planter and was never able to get to the pipe. Then he presented me with a 5 thousand dollar solution. As this guy spent two days digging, and never finding the pipe, I declined. Got charged a grand and still had the problem. Just discovered today that they broke my underground sprinkler and left the broken piece on the ground.
