These guys are fantastic. We did three separate jobs with them, and every time they were punctual, they did a great job of explaining the situation with us, and they never upsold us. Their work was top-​quality and very reasonably priced. Plus, they’re good dudes, which is a nice bonus. Strongest possible recommendation

Besides for Jay being a great guy, he also gives excellent service. We use Jay regularly for all types of plumbing issues in our buildings. He is very honest and efficient.

Jay came out to hydro-​jet my very clogged, old pipes recently. He did a great job (I have to have this done every 18 – 24 months) and was half the price that my previous «regular» plumber charged for the same service. It’s a relief to me to have a new plumber that’s honest, friendly and reliable.

Jay installed a new water heater for and it malfunctioned and then he worked with me, the electrician, and the company for hours to get it right. We ended up needing a new heater which he negotiated with the company and I didn’t have to pay for!!! I was so grateful to see him go out of his way to help me and my family. Our hot water is back so there are 5 women shining again!!! God is good.

Called to get a quote on replacing my tankless water heater. Scheduled an appointment for a few days later when I would be home. Showed up on time, looked at my existing system, provided a quote with two replacement options and discussed the benfits of adding either a water conditioner or softener. Installation is scheduled, will update when work is completed.

Never again!
Hired Jay once and was blown away by his professionalism and efficiency. Had him come out for another job and it was like dealing with a completely different bloke. Between him and his so-​called helper can honestly say if Pipeline was the only remaining plumbing company I’d take up the trade and do the work myself. Never, EVER again would I use Jay.
Thankfully, there are other fantastic plumbers around.
UPDATE TO JAY’S RESPONSE:
1. You don’t service Beverly Hills and the servicing was not done in Beverly Hills for either of the properties.
2. Yes, that is what I want to know as well. Where is my first review??? It was a surprise to see my review was gone from when I originally posted it. Why would only that review end up removed? I’m left to question this issue. Note, you also mentioned when I’d written the first review that you do not cover Beverly Hills. The assumption that the properties serviced were all located in Beverly Hills, albeit understandable, was not accurate.
3. Not only did I contact you multiple times at the time of the job, I waited for you specifically to do the job because you were so backlogged. Between the texting and calling you, I spent far more time then I would have normally spent because, at the time, I trusted you. When you did finally appear you had someone else complete the job who ultimately DAMAGED my property resulting in patchwork that required me to not only hire a plumber to fix the original problem since you didn’t fix it but also the damage caused by your worker.
If you further question the validity of my statements would you like me to divulge more detailed conversations we had? I’d prefer not to as I consider it personal and confidential and have no interest in exposing anything about you personally as I take no pleasure in providing a 0 rating to anyone but, I also don’t appreciate awful service or being treated like poop. And yes, I’ve rated other HVAC companies badly who attempted to screw me over as this seems to be common in your industry and is also why it’s so ridiculously difficult to find a decent one.
As for a refund, well thanks, after the fact. Wish you had taken the time to pickup the phone when I was calling you repeatedly trying to resolve the issue at the time. You were once on my speed dial, now it ignites fire in my belly every time I think of what your company ultimately did.
Truly, upon meeting and speaking to you, you come across as an amazing person and someone I was happy thank for his service and duty to our lovely country. However, screw me once and I’ll never give you a chance to do it again. It’s just that simple.
Again, I just wanted to make sure there was a record of note to never call you again since I frequently need a plumber at some point in time.
And for the last time, the properties were not in Beverly Hills!

I have a zero tolerance for unethical businesses and Pipeline is one of them.
My Noritz water system broke down a few weeks ago so I called Noritz asking them what to do. As it is still under warranty they advised me call a plumber and they would pay the bill. Awesome! They gave me a list of a few plumbers in my area and after reading a few reviews on Unilocal I decided to go with Pipeline.
First, despite what Noritz told me, Jay from Pipeline told me that I had to pay him directly and then deal with Noritz to get reimbursed. Fine, why not, I did not really care at that time, I just wanted my hot water system to be fixed so I wrote him a check.
Then I contacted Noritz explaining them the situation. They said they already issued a check to Pipeline to pay for the service but if I would get that check back they would send me a new one.
So I called Jay… This guys is the RUDEST person I ever talked to. He REFUSED to talk to me. Every single time I tried to have a conversation with him he would say «invoice number!». Can you look by my name? «Invoice number!». Can you look by address? «invoice number!» Can you look by date of service? «Invoice number!» Can you look by check number? «Invoice number!». I am not joking that he was acting like a real robot, repeating over and over again «invoice number! invoice number!»
So anyway, I found that invoice and emailed it to him… many times. He never got back to me. Clearly that guy did not want to send that check back…
I contacted Noritz again and we quickly realized that this guy does that all the time: Cash the check from the client and then cash the same amount from Noritz. What a crook!
Long story short Noritz issued me a new check and they are now dealing directly with Jay to get their money back… Not my problem anymore. But I am very disappointed by that type of behavior. I will definitely not used Jay’s services again nor recommend him to anyone.

I called Pipeline Rooter & Plumbing for an emergency (and after KVA Plumbing failed to respond to my calls). I’m so glad that KVA Plumbing didn’t call me back because Jay from Pipeline was awesome! He returned my calls and texts within minutes (even when he was on a job). He was punctual for his appointments and he was very professional. Unfortunately, it took several days for us to get our issue resolved but that was by no means Jay’s fault. We had to order parts for our tankless and each time a part came in, my husband texted Jay and he came immediately. His price was very reasonable, and most importantly, Jay was reliable. I highly recommend Pipeline Rooter & Plumbing.

Jay was super communicative and his guys came in to fix the air gap problem in my kitchen sink related to a faulty dish washer/​garbage disposal connection.
I also asked them on the spot to snake my nasty shower drain while they were there and they did so happily and efficiently.
Props to these guys.

I am very happy with the service, product and price I received from Jay and Pipeline Plumbing. I had a tankless water heater installed at my home. Their price was very competitive and they were easy to work with, arrived on time and got the job done in a timely manner. The unit looks and functions great so far, my bill dropped considerably in the first month, so it appears they did the job right. I will absolutely call them for my future plumbing needs.

Along with some other repairs, I told Jay I needed a new instant hot water heater and garbage disposal. Jay could have obliged and charged me accordingly. Instead, he asked if he could take a look — and ended up servicing the hot water heater and fixing the garbage disposal, saving me quite a bit of money!

I hired Jay on several projects some time ago. I do agree with all the positive comments. This guy really knows his stuff. He gets the job done fast and is priced accordingly. Jay is a super nice guy and has a great personality. If you need a great plumber who isn’t going to mess you around and get the job done right, this is the guy. Highly recommend him. Again, I used him on several projects we were constructing so I have seen many different levels of his work. He’s just a great all american guy.

My garbage disposal was jammed and my sink was completely backed up, so I searched for a plumber using Unilocal.I called a half dozen or more companies and I was surprised to learn that were large price differences between them. Jay, with Pipeline Rooter & Plumbing, had the best price by far! He was incredibly easy to talk to and a pleasure to do business with. Very professional, on time, quick and honest. He made himself readily available for an appointment at my convenience. He also gave me the option to communicate through text messaging, which made things incredibly easy. It became clear to me that Jay aims to please the customer, which is a quality that many do not have. I highly recommend his plumbing company and will be returning for business in the future.

I used Jay to install a better kitchen faucet in my apartment than the building would have sprung for. He was easy to schedule with, kind, quick and reasonably priced. Can’t really think of a thing to complain about, so I’d recommend giving him a try.

I’ve used many plumbing companies in Los Angeles in the past, and here’s what I’ve gotten: a plumber with a bad drinking problem, one who stole, one who set fire to the insulation in my partly constructed bathroom (and was very angry that I fired him), one who couldn’t figure out how to install a new toilet and one who couldn’t do a simple repair on a faucet.
Fortunately, I then found Jay, who not only knows how to do every conceivable plumbing job but arrives on schedule and does what he promises. He doesn’t bullshit or overcharge and he really cares about the outcome. Like his other clients, I trust his advice and his work. I also hope to God he never retires because I can’t imagine finding another plumber, let alone one who’s comparable.

Jay came within 30 minutes to root out my main line. He was affable, intelligent, and capable. We had conversations about future work, but only as initiated by me. He said he’s done over 400 tankless water heaters, including one for my neighbor. I’ll talk to my neighbor, and, unless you see an update to this review, that means Jay did good work for him. I’ll definitely call Jay back when I’ve got more substantial work to do.

Jay has been amazing! We’ve been using him for the 5 years at our home and at our business. He installed our tankless water heater and comes every year to flush it out. He re-​did all the terrible plumbing that another contractor put into my office. He has installed my Delta touch kitchen faucet and a number of other plumbing fixtures in my house. He is my go-​to guy for all things related to water!
He is always on time and available. He gets the job done right all the time.

As a first time homebuyer I was really nervous about having any work done on my house. Would I know if the price was fair? Would I know if the people I hired were being honest with me about what was needed? Would the work be done properly? How would I know?
Jay helped ease my worries by suggesting that I email him a list of what needed to be done and photos of things I was unsure of. He replied quickly, gave me a quote for the work and agreed to come by the next day (a Saturday!) to take care of everything.
When Jay showed up I was immediately at ease — you can tell right away that this guy is honest and fair. Jay is all about his client and he not only explained to me what he was doing, why he was doing it and what it would cost — he also helped me by showing me how to do things myself instead of having pay someone else to do them.
