There are very few people that I can whole heartedly trust. Doctor Calvo is such a person.
I highly recommend her. She has always given thorough examinations and recommendations. Everyone in the office is kind, knowledgeable, and caring. Dr. Calvo has been my dentist for over 26 years and I have no intention of seeking anyone else.

Dr calvo is the best in the business! From cleaning to cosmetic it is worth every penny and i am forever grateful!!!

I have been a patient of Dr. Calvo for over 20 years. She and her staff are terrific. I have referred friends to her. I tried another dentist closer to my home but I was soon back to Dr. Calvo. I had veneers put on by her and am so glad I did. I love my smile!

Here on Unilocal,5 stars means «as good as it gets». Dr. Calvo easily fits this category, but she’s so much more than that. I know we all glance at one website or another looking for professionals who do their jobs well… but Dr. Calvo is so much more than that.
I’ve always been a man who tries to take care of himself and that includes having a dentist that I could trust and feel confident about. She will be the last dentist I’ll ever have for the rest of my life. I’ve been a patient for 30 years and for a guy who is 65 yrs. old, I’ve got a smile that I still like to use to charm that ladies with. (the wife doesn’t need to know this of course.)

The best Dentist in the valley if not the state. Professional, courteous, and friendly. Dr. Calvo and her professional staff were accommodating to my busy schedule

Dr. Calvo’s office is as close to a spa as dentist location will ever get. Everyone is knowledgeable and professional. There is complimentary valet parking, coffee, tea, and a very pleasant atmosphere. If you live in the valley, making her your dentist is a no brainer. Either way, I’ve driven from the Inland Empire and Downtown LA to ensure I receive her excellent service. That she is a cosmetic dentist is a bonus because she will make sure your mouth is healthy AND beautiful.

I’ve been driving from Santa Monica to the valley for 8 or 9 years because Dr. Calvo and her incredible staff take excellent care of my teeth! My wife and 9 year old daughter also enjoy the very friendly, caring and personal care provided by Smile Studio!

My sister recommended Dr. Calvo after the horrible experience I had with some other Dentist. I had 2 veneers put on my two front teeth by some other dentist. They kept falling off and one actually broke. They never gave me a straight answer as to why. I was mentally drained and was losing confidence in any dentist until I met Dr. Calvo. She was very straight forward and didn’t sugar coat anything which I liked. In other words she didn’t BS me like she was trying to sell me anything. She told me my bite was what was causing the veneers to fall off and gave me a whole breakdown on what steps to take next. She was very professional, clear and understanding. I look forward to my relationship with Dr. Calvo and would recommend her to anyone. Price should not matter when it comes to something as important as your smile. Your confidence will skyrocket and more important, the peace of mind you get knowing your teeth and smile are in the hands of a true professional with great credentials and a great staff.

Dr. Calvo is the most amazing dentist! She took care of all of my needs when I went in to have veneers done. She made sure I was completely comfortable throughout the whole process. Her staff she was there there to answer any questions I had and they made sure that my teeth came out just the way I wanted. I’ve been going to this place for a few years now. Dr. Marylin Calvo and her staff are amazing. I am not the easiest patient to deal with, but Dr Calvo takes the time to make each visit pleasant. I highly recommend this practice! If I could give them a 10 star I would.

I went to Dr. Calvo for a inlay, not my first time there. her assistant was sick and coughing and sneezing on me, so Dr Calvo sent her home. But then Dr. Calvo was rushing to do everything herself. I think she had at least 5 patients in the chairs at the time. I got a novacaine shot but it did not numb me. she was in super hurry mode and was frustrated by this, and gave me 4 more shots at once. later my gums became grey in that spot and started to disintegrate and stayed that way for months. then when drilling the tooth, still in super hurry mode, to prep for the inlay she said «oops!». but said everything was ok and finished the inlay. when I got downstairs. I bit my teeth together and the tooth under the inlay disintegrated into a hundred pieces. I went back to work and sent an email saying I was unhappy with my service and told her the tooth fell apart. but my email was never returned. Never went back.
Got a call from her assistant yesterday asking «why I haven’t come back.»
I told her the story, and decided to share with you.
I ended up needing a implant because she drilled too much in super hurry mode.
and the tooth crumbled, $ 4,000. (not the highest estimate)
she is a good dentist if she wasn’t over booking herself.
and would slow down.

Dr Calvo fixed a set of terrible veneers I had done by someone else and I couldn’t be happier. I found her online and checked out her impeccable credentials and proceeded to call the office. She picked up personally before hours and fit me in for a consultation that day due to my situation. I went through months of extreme dental work and gum surgery and I still go to the office for cleaning. I have full upper and lower veneers that I’m extremely happy with and have no issues with at all. I’ve referred 3 people to the office since then all of who have had great experiences. The staff is incredibly kind and Dr Calvo is very good at what she does. I highly recommend this dental office!

The Smile Studio Dentistry team are absolutely amazing! They are very personable, patient and nice. The office is cozy and comfortable. Dr Calvo is VERY great at what she does. I would highly recommend this office to anyone for their dental needs.

Dr. Maralyn Calvo and her team, were very helpful and extremely nice. I haven’t been to the dentist in over 5 years. I was honestly scared and put it off as long as possible. Finally I gathered up the courage to go in for a DEEP cleaning, x rays as well as bleaching trays. I got there and was literally seen right away. Stephanie who took my X-​rays was extremely sweet. After the X-​rays were done Dr. Calvo came in to do my cleaning. Since it had been many years since my last cleaning, she gave me a gum numbing gel and got down to work. After the cleaning we looked over my X-​rays, she informed me that I had a couple small cavities, that we would watch to make sure they don’t get any worse. Once that was done, Jennifer came in to show me how to properly floss, and use a rubber picker, something I had never seen or used before. She also explained how to use my new, custom made bleaching trays. When all was said and done, I left with polished teeth and a bag fully equipped with everything I needed to upkeep my teeth until next time. Thank you Dr. Calvo and team

I was looking for a dentist I contacted smiles they seemed very nice, I went in to have a cleaning and it seem very nice but little did I know the pricing is not listed and they over charge. They charge u for «being nice «which is there job. And don’t do there complete job, they call 20 times a day for payments which they made up after I paid in the office yet they don’t have time to send the reports or provide you with a copy of you statement. Seems like a nice dentist but don’t be fooled. If I could give zero stars I would.

She does an excellent job! She takes care of my teeth and my 3 –year– old daughter’s teeth. Her office is very nice and relaxing. I always recommend her to anyone who needs a dentist!
