Our operations are managed by Haven Farms, which has been operating for over 20 years in the Encinitas area providing high quality hunter/​jumper training to thousands of students.

My step-​daughter and I came for a repeat ride. It was very relaxing. The horses were all ready prior to our start time and the guide was very cordial. We took a nice scenic route at a relaxed pace which was perfect for connecting with my step daughter over relaxed conversation on horseback. Thanks!

Willow creek is a horse lover’s paradise. While it is set up for competitive jumping, they also have trail rides. And if you have an electric car, there is free charging available. The staff is exceptionally friendly and the facilities and setting is top notch and the owner is very accessible and friendly.
By far, the best, most thoughtful facility I’ve seen!

My 11 year old daughter, wyho is a beginning rider (4 – 5 lessons at another stable) had an absolutely fantastic time going for a Sunday afternoon trail ride with Claudia. Her horse was perfect for her and Claudia was great with her. She is looking forward to her next trail ride at Willow Creek.

Absolutely love every moment spent at this equestrian facility… everything is very well kept, and the people aren’t snobby-​actually quite the opposite! I have been on two trail rides and both have been so amazing, I’ll never forget and look forward to the next one.

Willow Creek is a hidden gem in North County. The trainers are very knowledgeable, skilled and love what they do. The facilities are beautiful, clean and well maintained. There is state of the art footing material in the arenas, which is very safe and has very little dust. The horses are well looked after, behaved and trained well. The equipment is also clean and maintained. After riding at several barns it is very apparent the care taken here. Would highly recommend Havens Farm at Willow Creek.

If you are looking for a great barn, with the most up to date facilities and best horse management program, look no further! Willow Creek offers the best boarding options, as well as some of the most experienced training programs I have ever had the good fortune to come across. Under head trainer Lisa Halterman of Haven Farms your horse and yourself will receive the best care in the county. Not only are the horses extremely happy, but everyone is super friendly and helpful. There are also great programs for kids who want to take lessons on top quality lesson horses. We absolutely love it here and are so fortunate we have such a nice home for our horses and ourselves!
