If you are looking for a fun, laid back, amazing photographer, then Pierre is your guy. We were referred to Pierre by a friend of a friend, and we are so grateful for the referral. Pierre was by far the best vendor we dealt with in the entire wedding planning process. From our initial consultation, to our engagement shoot, to the day of the wedding, we had a blast with Pierre. By the end of it all he felt like an old friend. His prices were extremely reasonable for the quality of work and the unlimited time on wedding day. He delivered our edited images to us approximately 2 weeks after the wedding and we couldn’t be more pleased. Some of them are absolutely stunning. We had several guests mention that they barely even noticed Pierre was there during the festivities and yet he was able to capture so many special moments through out the reception. We would highly recommend Pierre for any couple looking for an amazing photographer.

Pierre was GREAT! He exceeded my expectations. All of our pictures (and there are a lot) turned out great and he got them to us so quickly. We are OBSESSED with Pierre! The only reason we were hesitant to book him, is because he cost less than every other amazing wedding photographer (and he is better). My fiancée and I are both awkward when it comes to taking pictures, and we are still shocked at how good he made us look in our engagement pictures. He will make you feel comfortable and spend the day with you, taking pictures when you least expect it… none of that awkward traditional posing stuff. He took pictures of us in the places we wanted, and also shot us in a few random places we would have never thought of (of course, those pictures were are favorite… you just have to trust the guy). You will turn out with super beautiful, creative and artsy pictures (which we received the next day. totally unheard of). We cannot wait to hang out with him more during our wedding weekend… pictures are super important to us, and we know we are in the best hands with Pierre. He is modern, hip, funny, relaxed, confident, and super creative. We are convinced he is a unicorn or something…

LOVE Pierre! We stumbled across him randomly when a friend of a friend posted her engagement photos on Facebook. WOW! I just loved how they looked. I got his information and from the start he was such a pleasure to work with. His prices are excellent! Especially for what is included. We just got married October 4^th and He did both our engagement and wedding photos. They are GORGEOUS!!! He took so many different kinds of photos both traditional and artistic and I absolutely love them. I received so many compliments from my officiant, various other vendors, and guests about how friendly and easy going he was the day of our wedding. We were so impressed with how he was able to capture every single moment of the ceremony and reception– yet you never even noticed he was there. We got our pictures back so quickly after our wedding and we were shocked at how many there were. He truly didn’t miss a moment the entire day! I think I’ve sent him about 25 texts in the past two weeks because every time we look at our wedding photos I love them even more. I could go on and on about how thrilled I am that we were able to have him shoot our wedding. We honestly had the best experience possible and I wish I could give him 10 stars. He did an amazing job!

Pierre was amazing in every way! He shot our engagement photos, maternity photos, newborn photos & family photos and we were beyond happy with all the results. In less than one week he hand delivered copies of the photos and dropboxed all the images in an unheard of time frame. He is also super cool and we want to be BFF with him :) he makes you feel super comfy and avoids the award and traditional poses. We will definitely be using him for every occasion! Could not be more thrilled with the moments he was able to capture!!!

We do not get married until July 2014 but we have already had two stellar experiences with Pierre. He shot our traditional Vietnamese tea ceremony (dam hoi) and we just had our photo engagement shoot a few days ago. Pierre’s photos really capture the emotions and excitement of the day but there’s also an edge of cool and hip that I attribute to his cool guy demeanor (I mean that in the best way possible). You can’t help but want to be Pierre’s friend immediately after meeting him and it’s so easy to be natural around him. At our tea ceremony, he blended in with the crowd and I never noticed him taking pictures — serious ninja skills. I don’t know where he found time to take so many great pictures but we were ecstatic when we got the photos. On top of that, my family was really impressed (our picky Asian parents give Pierre the thumbs up, that in itself is a feat!)
I can be a bit of a stress ball and my fiancé and I are pretty reserved: not necessarily a recipe for fun photos. Pierre jumped on furniture, got us to stand in the middle of a street as cars zoomed by for pics, had us rolling around in dust and he’s had the cops called on him a few times. He definitely brings the whimsy and talent which is a great reminder to not take things so seriously — especially wedding planning.
Wedding planning can be very stressful but having great vendors really make a difference. Pierre is up there as one of our favorite vendors, definitely our favorite photographer and overall just a cool dude. Looking forward to hanging out with him on our wedding day.

I found Pierre after a long search for wedding photographers by stumbling across his
Blog, and something about his images made me stop and want to stay on his blog. They were beautiful, original, and artfully crafted. I immediately emailed him and he responded quickly offering to meet us for coffee that week. We chatted for a couple hours at the coffee shop, and quickly decided that he was the kind of person we wanted to be around, to spend the day with, and that would make us feel at ease. We still hadn’t set a wedding date, but were interested in having engagement photos taken and he was more than willing to set up a session.
My fiancé and I love the outdoors, but somehow, Balboa Park, the beach, etc didn’t really get us excited. We also didn’t want corny photos taken at a restaurant or posed next to a building— we wanted to have fun doing something new and exciting, and have it documented. We decided that the sand dunes were something different (we had past them driving out East, but never stopped to play in them). We asked him if he would be willing to go on an adventure with us to the middle of nowhere and he was more than up for it. We had a great time driving out, and playing in the dunes. Pierre was awesome– we felt like we were with an old friend the whole day, he trekked through terrible sand with us on a 90 degree day, made us feel at ease and let us just do our thing, all while taking amazing pictures in less than ideal lighting conditions (mid day bright sun).
We were so happy with our photos and have received so many compliments. Plus, within the week, he offered to drop off the digital files (something that most photographers take weeks, if not months to do). We can’t wait to have more occasions to document with Pierre– he is talented photographer, but also a great person!

Pierre is A-​M-​A-​Z-​I-​N-​G!!! I was researching for a photographer for our outdoor desert wedding near Joshua Tree and had come across some of Pierre’s beautiful photos from a Palm Springs wedding. They had just the look and feel I wanted. I knew the lighting could be challenging with the bright desert sun, but Pierre is a pro and captures the light just perfectly. He has such a great eye and is a true artist.
We had called several other photographers for quotes. Not only was Pierre the only one in our price range, but he was the most personable and friendly, and offered so much more than the others. He doesn’t nickel-​and-​dime you with a bunch of package options. He gives you a very reasonable, all-​inclusive flat rate and is yours for the entire day/​night. We invited him to our house to meet, and we felt immediately at ease around him. You truly get the sense that his priority is making sure he captures your day perfectly and that you don’t have to worry about a thing.
For our engagement shoot, I happened to spill something on my dress just before Pierre arrived. I was stressed to say the least. While I was frantically trying to wash and dry the dress, Pierre and my fiancé enjoyed a beer and chatted like old friends until I was ready. Pierre is so calming to be around that after I finally got myself together and chatted with him for a minute, I was no longer worried about wasting all that prime shooting time before sunset. Pierre did a great job at giving us instructions for the shoot, but also just letting us be ourselves. He, or should I say his absolutely adorable 2 year daughter, personally delivered the prints and cd of images to our home just 5 days later. The shoot had seemed so quick, yet there were so many pictures and we loved them all! It was so nice not to have to pick favorites or think about printing costs.
We had mentioned to Pierre that we were having a very large rehearsal dinner with all of our extended family, and that we would hopefully get a lot of the family photos out of the way that night. He very kindly offered to arrive to the desert a day early to shoot the rehearsal dinner too, and for such a nominal fee. (Several of the photos he took are actually being used for Christmas cards by other family members.) He also joined us at a bar later that night where we met up with friends for a welcome drink and took a few more photos there too.
As for the actually wedding day, Pierre totally exceeded our expectations! He arrived early and took a bunch of photos of the drive out to the venue and the venue itself. I had given Pierre and all of the wedding party and immediate family a timeline for photos before the ceremony. I have no idea if it went on time or according to plan because Pierre has this way of making you feel like everything is going perfectly and like you always have tons of time still. And somehow you do! He’s so quick and everything seems to flow so naturally.
We had so many compliments from friends and family about how much they enjoyed our photographer — and they hadn’t even seen the photos yet! My dad actually thought he was an old friend of ours and said he talked with him a bunch assuming he knew us really well. But honestly, we considered Pierre a friend after the first time we met him, so it wasn’t so far from the truth. He blended right into the party and was having fun, and I think that put our friends and family at ease too when he was snapping their photos. He’s so stealth we barely noticed him taking shots.
We were very pleasantly surprised when Pierre was ready to drop off the already edited prints and digital files in less than a month from the wedding. Other photographers had told us we would have to wait 6 months to a year. Again, we were blown away by the sheer number of photos and that they were all so good!!! We literally have hundreds of favorites! It was so special to be able to send some prints along with our thank you cards, and to get them out so soon after the wedding.
If I could give him more stars, I would. Other photographer friends have commented on the photos I posted on Facebook and think his work is amazing. (Oh, and the photos don’t have an obnoxious copyright on them either. I really appreciated having clean images.) Pierre is an absolutely fantastic photographer and wonderful person too. I can’t recommend him enough

We were fortunate enough to meet Pierre through our good friends who he is also good friends with. He did their engagements and I was so impressed I couldn’t wait to see Pierre in action at their wedding and meet him in person. After our friends wedding, we met Pierre on our own fully knowing we were going to book him. Seriously, how can you not? Have you seen his work?! A few months after our meeting we shot our engagement pictures in Encinitas. We wanted casual, comfortable photos, not the forced photos you see from friends that have the «what were they thinking?» vibe to them. That’s not our style. For two people who take no more than the occasional selfie pictures, we had a blast with Pierre. After the session was over, we all went out for dinner and drinks with our mutual friends. I can’t tell you enough how excited we were when we got our pictures back. They were AMAZING and I’m not being biased. They’re that good.
Fast forward six months later and we finally approached our wedding, the 19^th of last month. Pierre met the girls at the hotel while we were getting ready at 9:30am and was with us until midnight for our after party. Not only is he a super rad guy, he’s a ninja behind the camera. You don’t even know he’s there and you look back at your pictures and you can’t believe he got the shot and went unnoticed. When we got our wedding photos back, it was like reliving our day all over again. They came out better then I could have hoped for. They’re beautiful and everyone and their mother has commented on how beautiful our wedding photos came out. His work even made a few people cry. Again, he’s that good. If you want amazing, one of a kind photos for your once in a lifetime moment, I would book with him now. I can’t recommend Pierre enough.

Pierre came highly recommended for his amazing work. It didn’t take much convincing when I saw his website. He has a very soft, sensual style which I fell in love with. Him and I communicated via email the whole time and he was always very professional, on time, and understanding of any changes. The day of the session, he was early and ready to shoot. He was so open to any poses or outfit changes. He did not rush us or make us feel uncomfortable. When we saw the pics (unedited), we were absolutely amazed. Then the very next morning, we saw the edited pics and we were completely floored! Absolutely amazing photography! I would recommend him as a photographer for any ocassion. Not only is he a stellar photographer, he is an outstanding human being!

Pierre was our AHH-​MAY-​ZING wedding photographer and we couldn’t have been happier! First, he speaks French. Second, we saw his mad skillz and knew we NEEDED to work with him. We had originally booked him for our September wedding, but life took us on a different journey. I got sick and we decided to move the wedding up. Yolo! Without skipping a beat, Pierre made sure he could be there for our special days. We had a major connection from the start and felt so comfortable just letting the man do his thing! He was another one of our blessings and he captured our wedding weekend perfectly. Pierre is an artist and he truly captures the moments effortlessly. We adore our wedding pictures so much. Merci! Pierre exceeded our expectations. He did an amazing job of depicting our wedding day and all of its details with a tasteful, artistic eye. I thought there’d be no way he could top the photographs he took for our engagement, but he certainly did. Somehow, he is a master of capturing both still life and people, even with the chaos that a wedding day can (and tends to) be. Everyone that has seen his photos of our wedding has highly complimented his work, and rightfully so. He has a creative photographic perspective that makes for wonderfully fresh, unique shots that break out of the boring wedding photographer mold.

Pierre is badass! He did such a wonderful job on both our engagement pictures and our wedding pictures! He really captured the «feel» of the day and of us as a couple. He got there super early and was there all night with us. He was like a ninja; I didn’t even notice he was there, but the pictures prove he was.
