Our cat Maggie had her first appointment yesterday and I am so incredibly thrilled with and in awe of Dr. Sue’s service, patience, professionalism! Maggie is not a problem kitty until it’s time to get in the carrier or see the vet. Then she turns into crazy cat and and watch out everybody… all bets are off!
I had been avoiding having to deal with the stress of taking her to her old vet where she would have to be sedated so she could be examined, given vaccinations, clipped claws etc… it was never any fun for either of us! Dr. Sue took such amazing care of Maggie, I thought she would have to sedate her but Dr Sue didn’t. Maggie had her nails clipped, was examined, vaccinated and weighted all without sedation! Dr Sue took the time to go thru her medical history, and gave me instructions on food as well. Maggie is usually mad for an entire day after seeing the vet, by the evening she was back to herself and eating the food Dr Sue had recommended which was always her favorite anyway! Dr Sue will have our business forever… she is absolutely amazing!!!

Everything I could ever want in a vet: sensitivity, thoroughness, compassion, competence, friendliness. She is the best. I wouldn’t take my cats anywhere else. She always takes a lot of time to explain everything to me. Best vet in North County, and probably the whole county.

Dr Sue is fantastic!!! She is extremely knowledgeable, very patient, kind and understanding. She takes all the time we need to explain her diagnosis and recommended treatment. You can tell she not only cares for the animals, she cares for their owners.
Carolyn and I first met Dr. Sue at a very difficult time. We had to put sweet Katie to sleep. Her bedside manner was impeccable! She explained the process and gave us all the time we needed to say goodbye.
We had Katie cremated and she personally retuned her to us.
I have to also give a shout out to Theron, her husband and partner. He is very kind and patient. They are both amazing people. Thank you!!!

Dr. Sue and Theron at PetDoc2U are phenomenal with our pets. Our oldest dog, Lucky is 14 years old with lots of pain issues in her hips. My wife and I thought that she was not long for «dog heaven», but Dr. Sue has really helped her with a pain management program. Lucky has regained a «pep in her step»!

Dr. Sue is absolutely amazing. She’s so kind and compassionate and so very knowledgeable. Our elderly cat was not doing well and I couldn’t bear to load him in the car again. When I called Dr. Sue she spent so much time on the phone with me talking about possible ways to help him. Her first visit here, she spent 3 hours! We really just wanted to get him comfortable again even though we knew he was getting quite elderly and arthritic. She provided him with excellent care and showed us how to continue that treatment. She was reasonable and gave us all of our options. At his age, we did not want to put him through any drastic treatments. What I also appreciate is that she provided him with better care that I was receiving at his current vet. She knows her «stuff» and stays up on all current research — I immediately realized she was giving us many more treatment options than our current vet. Not that the former vet office wasn’t good, but Dr. Sue was just better. Unfortunately, our dear 17 year old cat had reached his limit and we realized he did not have much quality of life anymore. After much thought and several conversations on the phone with Dr. Sue, we realized that it was time for him to go to sleep. As difficult as it was, I would NOT have wanted any other vet to help us through this. She came to our home and was so kind and compassionate. We knew every step so that we could help our kids decide which parts they wanted to be present for — which in the end, they said their goodbyes before the sedation. My husband held him through the process and it was apparent he suffered NO pain. I really felt better about the fact that he was fully sedated before the final injection. Dr. Sue will now be our vet for our Australian Shepherd. I really cannot say enough about how wonderful she is as well as her assistant Theron.

My 2 kitties just finished their first visit with Dr. Sue and we couldn’t be more thrilled! She, and her partner Theron were great! In the past, my cats have been terrified of going to the vet, so much so that I have been hesitant to take them, but I knew they needed to be seen, so I decided to try and find a mobile vet to come to our house, and after reading all of the positive Unilocal reviews about PetDoc2U, I decided to give it a try, and WOW, I am so happy I did!
As soon as Dr. Sue and Theron arrived they sat down and my male cat greeted them and she was able to perform an exam without him even knowing, he was not stressed out all. While doing this she also gave us great diet info, and we discussed his current and past health issues. Even out other cat, who is a bit more skiddish, allowed Dr. Sue to give her a full exam, and she received a much needed shot, and while my kitty wasn’t thrilled, it was a million times less stressful for her than packing her in the kitty carrier and going to the vet.
As other reviewers mentioned, I was very impressed with the fact that Dr. Sue answered the phone when I called and she took the time to ask questions and find out as much info as she could over the phone before the visit.
Lastly, her prices are great! Very reasonable.
I highly recommened Dr. Sue for anyone who has pets that are terrified of the vet, and even if they are not scared she is an awesome vet. Not only are my cats no longer stressed out, but I am no longer stressed out!!!

We have been clients of Dr. Sue and partner Theron since May of 2013. We have 2 indoor cats one was older with significant health issues. Dr. Sue changed both of their diets, gave the older cat new medications and truly extended her life and most importantly her quality of life. We recently had to have her put to sleep and the care and compassion that was given to both our cat and to us during this difficult time was so incredible.
All appointments are in the home and always on time and very courteous. The level of professionalism displayed by Dr. Sue is wonderful. Her knowledge of veterinary medicine and skills around animals is top notch. She always takes all the time you need to discuss the issues at hand and make sure you are completely understanding of any treatments or recommendations.
The cost of the service is very well in line with what you get. We never have to load up the cats and take them to the vet and get them all stressed out. Now they are examined in their home environment and never even realize that they have «been to the vet». This is a wonderful plus!
Of all the vets we have had over the years, we would have to rate Dr. Sue and her mobile clinic at the very top!

We have a «regular» vet for our two dogs, who we like very much. Still, in an emergency, he’s pretty far away. As one of our beloved dogs was nearing the end of her days with us, and because we wanted her to pass at home, our vet recommended PetDoc2U. He was very enthusiastic about Dr. Sue, so we phoned her to get an evaluation of our dog’s condition, since Bella wasn’t able to make the car trip easily.
I have to say that Dr. Sue was everything my vet said, and more. She was incredibly kind and patient with us, made some suggestions for a possible treatment protocol, and attended to our girl with the utmost care and concern. Although her treatment protocol would likely have been effective under most circumstances, our girl’s condition took a turn for the worse a week or so after our consult. When, sadly, it became obvious that there was nothing more we could do to correct her condition or alleviate her discomfort, Dr. Sue was there to help ease Bella into a deep, calm, forever sleep. Dr. Sue was very attentive, yet very sensitive to our need to say goodbye to a friend who’d shared our home for nearly 14 years. She gave us all the time and space we needed. Our Bella was surrounded by love, and given the dignity and love that she deserved.
Dr. Sue is someone I would recommend without hesitation to any friend or neighbor in need of a mobile vet, not just for the end-​of-​life arrangements, but as a general vet. She made a very difficult moment as gentle as possible. Unqualified 5 stars for Dr. Sue!

I have used PetDoc2U several times now and Dr. Spray has been fantastic! She offers great advice on what my cats and dog need, how to save money and when it is not worth it. You can tell she truly loves to help animals and cares about their comfort during the exam. I had one cat so scared she peed and hid behind the washing machine so she suggested we schedule a new appointment and provided me with tools on how to help my cat relax during the exam.
The Doctor’s van is a mobile lab and operating room. I will need to do dental on one of my cats and my dog and it will be great to know that they are in the care of Dr. Spray and it will all take place at my home should she need to discuss anything with me.
I would not hesitate to recommend PetDoc2U or Dr. Spray to anyone — they are amazing!

Dr. Sue came to our rescue the first time over a year ago, it was an emergency and a crisis turned into such a great find! I never considered a house call vet, thinking it would be expensive, but after our first experience with her, her knowledge, focus, experience, patience and most of all how much she loves our dogs and her job. Since then, we have converted all of our small animal vet care to her, and I think that it is even more reasonable than my experience at the vet hospital I had been using for years. She is practical and smart and NEVER tries to load us up with un needed lab tests or pharmaceuticals or nutraceuticals… Also, when she is with you, her entire focus is on you and your pet. Not flitting in and out of exam rooms, running behind, leaving you to wait, or having an assistant do all the work, it is just her!
She arrives in what amounts to a very slick mobile hospital equipped with Labaratory, X-​Ray, operating table, anesthesia, etc. Also, she is totally electronic, medical records, reminders, communications, a totally «wired» kind of service.
Its impossible to express how much I appreciate her and her husband Theron, such a blessing to us.

At the sunset of a shared lifetime, filled with adventure, loyalty, and companionship, saying goodbye to a beloved pet is a painfully sad process. Perhaps the only silver lining to our family’s experience was having a trusted resource in Dr. Spray to help do this at home, in a way that maximized our dog’s comfort and dignity. Dr. Spray is a competent, capable, and deeply caring professional, and we remain profoundly grateful for her service and discretion.

I can recommend Dr. Spray and staff without reservation. She is competent, experienced and caring. The convenience of the mobile lab and housevisit make this a win-​win situation for the owner and the pet!

Dr. Spray visited our dog Thor today. We had taken him multiple times to veterinary clinics, but no one could figure out how to help him. Dr. Spray spent a lot of time reviewing the xrays and meds and our descriptions of Thor’s problems. She was empathetic and kind, not only to Thor, but us as well.
She gave us ideas to help him and then, through continued effort, came upon a diagnosis. I highly recommend her and her services.

If you love your pet (s) have Dr. Spray treat them! She takes her time and thoroughly inquires about pets’ history, answers all questions and spends lots of time with pets so they feel comfortable with her. Her lab on her van is a real asset and prices are comparable to brick and mortar vet — thank you Dr. Spray!

At first I was skeptical about calling a mobile vet, thinking that it would be an outrageous price and more trouble that it is worth. But Dr. Spray had very reasonable prices, and had what appeared to be a mini lab in her van.
She arrived on time, and was great with my 72 pound Pitbull. My dog loved her and she loved my dog! My dog is overall healthy, but was showing signs of an ear infection. Dr. Spray took samples from my Sweetie’s ear and instantly got results as to what it was after examining it under a microscope. It was really awesome being able to experience the whole process. She explained to me exactly what I need to do and what could have caused it. She even let me look at the bacteria under the microscope.
When she was done my dog was not traumatized in the least bit. In fact she was so happy immediately after the exam she ran laps around our (gated) front yard. So much less stressful than taking her to a clinic, hospital, or office with lots of other smells and animals. My Sweetie always gets so excited when other animals around and it’s hard to calm her down. Dr. Spray is a great alternative and showed a great amount of care and compassion, even with a big dog such as mine. Even let her lick her face! Now that is an animal lover…

I didn’t want to traumatize my 16-​year old cat any further, so I opted for a house call. After running several blood tests it was sadly determined that I had to put my beloved kitty to sleep. Dr. Spray was very kind and compassionate. My cat died in the comfort of my arms and familiar surroundings. Thank you Dr. Spray.

I had a great experience with Dr. Spray!
First of all, when I called the number on the PetDoc2U web page, the doctor herself picked up! Normally veterinarians are very careful to never ever talk to a patient unless it is during a paid exam, so this was pretty unusual. She was in another part of town so she initially suggested a next-​day appointment, but after asking a couple of questions about my dog’s symptoms (limping and some whimpering) she decided that it was urgent and offered to come by at 630pm when her other obligations were complete. There is an extra fee for after-​hours house calls, but I felt it was worth it to get my dog looked at immediately.
She and her driver/​assistant were both very professional but also warm and friendly. The mobile vet van is a technological wonder with a cozy exam space surrounded by hi-​tech equipment. She started by asking me about a hundred questions while listening very carefully and writing everything down, then she examined Shayla (my dog). Being at home made the whole thing much less traumatic. She drew some blood and ran a blood count right there in the van in about 10 minutes, determined that my dog was dehydrated and probably suffering from a viral infection, and gave her intravenous fluid and a shot for the inflammation, right there on her pillow in my garage. Shayla is now sleeping comfortably on the couch and will probably be good as new in the morning.
Prices for the exam and tests were easily competitive with our previous vet. The after hours house call fee was a bit steep ($ 120) but still cheap compared to an all night pet hospital. And considering that she was here for 3 hours when normal people are eating dinner, a great deal.

What a relief! Our Puppy Cocker Spaniel had an extra K-​9 tooth that needed removal before it caused serious health problems. Dr. Sue came to the rescue, and took the tooth out within an hour! Unlike other vet visits, that can be time consuming, impersonal, and stressful, our puppy’s experience was calming, quiet, very safe, and clean. Dr Sue was patient, and took extra time to answer our questions, leaving us feeling reassured and confident that our puppy is in good hands! In addition, Dr Sue Micro-​chipped her in the same visit! Great service all around!

The easiest and best vet experience ever. Dr. Sue has all the needed equipment right there in her van. She looked at Rocky, drew blood and had lab results immediately. We were able to get the needed prescriptions from her and start Rocky on her road to recovery. And it gets better… she called the next day to see how our olé girl was doing. Glad to report, she is much better. Thank you Dr. Sue!

Just an amazing experience. We have an old dog, and other vets seem to want us to spend hundreds of dollars in tests before doing anything. Dr. Sue came to the house, our dog Buddy was relaxed, instead of being stressed out waiting at the vet’s office. She did the exam as he hung out on the driveway. She took the time to get to know Buddy and us, wrote a prescription and filled it on the spot, and it didn’t cost any more than our last visit to the vet, which was a horrible experience for Buddy.
