PC Photo & Imaging

I’ve used PC Photo & Imaging’s services several times now and they are always courteous, do great work, and deliver the finished product quickly. I really loved the pics to metal, if anyone wants to try that. The pictures are clear and the quality is very good. I highly recommend them!

I have worked with Mike and the crew for years now, even when I lived on the east coast, I’d still send them my photos to be printed by PC Photo. You couldn’t ask for better customer service or care. If there are any questions about a file or issue, they are quick to call and ask before printing. They always send out my photos for clients quickly and package them with extra care. I’m a huge fan (like most people) of the metal prints and know they will always turn out beautifully when I go through PC photo. Whether you are walking in 35 mm film or ordering digital prints online, use PC Photo.

I tried REALLY hard to give these guys my money. I really did. I simply wanted prints to include in my wedding invitations, but since I’ve never strayed from the ol’ Walgreens photo center, I wasn’t familiar with how the local guys operated.
Mike, the owner, was quick to answer my questions via email about custom sizing, which I appreciated, but both times I called (two days apart) – first to ask how much prints cost and second to place the order, the woman who answered the phone was shockingly rude and condescending. When I told her I emailed Mike the image, she acted completely annoyed and told me I’m supposed to order them via the website. Fine. Except I hadn’t visited their website so I simply didn’t know. Also not a moron and know how to use the internet but you’d never know it by the way she was talking to me.
Anyway, found a place in Carlsbad which charges 10 cents more per print, but I’m happy to pay it because they were incredibly kind and helpful.

Very grateful to find a photo place that goes the extra mile! They took the time to help me design the perfect mug for grandpa! Can’t wait to use this location for more print work! Plus they are not a chain, it feels good to support local businesses with great integrity in quality and customer service! Plus they are getting the mug finished in one day! That’s quick! Also they have online options to order!

Recently I contacted Mike at PC Photo for a canvas I wanted printed to give to a friend as a gift. I called Mike on Thursday, and he was able to squeeze my order in at the last minute and have it ready the very next day! It was a 20“x30″ canvas! He was able to touch up a raw photo, remove the blemishes, and even managed to make the person in the photo a bit slimmer around the waistline!!! This guy and his team did an amazing job! I was very happy with the final product, but even more, my friend absolutely loved it. Thanks PC Photo!

These people are fabulous! We had a photo that we wanted to put on a large canvas and Mike, Karen and Ellen all did an outstanding job of editing and reproducing our photo. We are so pleased with their workmanship and customer service. We would highly recommend them for any photo or enlargement needs. They are very nice people too!

After reading the reviews on Unilocal,I took some of my father’s slides (over 50 years old) to see how they would do with scanning them. They did a fabulous job, and I will continue to take my old photos there to be preserved in digital form. Not only do they scan the slides, but they color-​correct them as well. People I’ve shown the digital copies to can’t believe they were old slides, the quality and resolution is so good. I would highly recommend trusting them with your old photo keepsakes.

Great local photo shop, much better photo quality than the other chain stores or online. Also just bought a photo mug as a gift and they were fast and good. I like to support good local mom and pop businesses and this one is tops.

This place is a little gem. It feels good to support a local business. You can probably find cheaper ways to produce photo prints (or canvas or metal) but you can’t get the kind of personalized attention to detail the PC Photo delivers. I’ve personally had photo prints done on shutterfly and at Costco. Sometimes they work fine; sometimes the quality is pretty poor. Mike the owner is very knowledgeable and helpful. He made our photo project really shine. I’ll definitely return. Two thumbs way up.

Staff was very friendly and professional. I had over 1,000 old photos scanned here, and the turnaround time was really quick! The quality of the images is great. I definitely recommend this place and will return when I need other photo services.

If you haven’t walked into PC photo, what are you waiting for? Stop searching for better deals. This is the place to go. Not only do you get great quality but at great price. I had a magazine article turned into a photo portrait. With the few descriptions I gave mr. riley, he turned it into a master piece. It was more than what I had imagined. I have driven by PC Photo & Imaging many times and never knew it existed. A while back while my daughter was cleaning her apartment she found some old photos of our beloved pack of 4 dogs that are down to 2. She sent the photos to me and asked if I could send her copies. This is where once again Unilocal introduced me to a remarkable business in my own back yard. They do every thing imaginable and once I saw the aluminum prints in the store I ordered 3. Just so happens I was there on an anniversary date and to celebrate Mike knocked of 30%. Mike was creative in designing the right photo for the aluminum plates. He called and asked if I would like to look at what I originally wanted and see what he came up with in a very humble way. I was already on the road so I stopped in and the photo he came up was the best. I really appreciate the extra effort that Mike put into such an important keep sake. Very happy and once again thanks to the Unilocalers who took the time to review this business.

I recently purchased prints of our family portrait including a 12×18 glossy metal print on aluminum. The result was amazing! I would highly recommend both the metal prints and PC Photo in general. The owner Mike made some suggestions regarding size and finish, which I appreciated because I rarely do this kind of thing. The service was fast and reasonably priced — it was ready to pick up within a couple days. I couldn’t be happier with the outcome and will definitely return the next time I need photo prints.

I really needed a wedding photo quickly before Valentine’s day and I wanted it to look good. Not only was it much better quality than I was hoping, but Mike stayed late so I could purchase it because I was stuck in traffic. Not only that but he answered all my questions about the type of paper, mounting and annoying stuff like that. So it looked awesome, service was great and it was very good pricing. I’ll definitely be coming back…

I have actually used PC Photo a number of times and have even gotten to meet the owner a couple of times. It’s very clear that this local business cares deeply about serving its customers and goes way out of their way to prove it. These days its hard to find that so it really stood out to me and made me feel even more special than I already am!
They are competitively priced but their quality has far exceeded other services that I have tried (Costco, Snapfish). They are also pretty cutting edge on the technology front and the process from inception to completion goes by very painlessly. I plan on using Mike and his team for many years to come.

They print canvas’ in store and they turn out absolutely beautiful. They also have an incredible assortment other mediums to print your photos on… including a metal of some sort! AMAZING.

No matter what type of photo work I need, PC Photo comes through every time. The service is extraordinary and they complete my jobs quickly and beautifully. Lyn patiently helped my daughter & 5-​yr-​old granddaughter pick thru too many photos to make prints. They planned, laid out, produced and mounted a wonderful poster of family photos for my husband. Jim restored an almost destroyed 70-​yr-​old portrait of my mom and did a top-​quality sepia 8×10 for me. I needed a 24″ B&W Tinkerbell drawing from a little print. Came through, as always. PC Photo is just the best, no matter what I throw at them, they come through.

I have been using PC Photo for all my digital photo printing for several years now — almost as long as they have been open. They’ve got a web site that lets you upload photos and send the print order from home, which makes it very convenient. You can have the prints mailed to you or pick up at the store and save shipping costs. They send you confirmation of your order and notice that it’s ready by email. In addition they have other services such as digital photo books, enlargements, art prints, etc. Jim and his wife provide great service and are friendly to boot.
