Encinitas Obedience Academy has a forty-​year history of training dogs and their owners in North County San Diego. We are conveniently located to service your dog training needs in San Diego, Carlsbad, Rancho Santa Fe, Solana Beach, Del Mar, Oceanside, Escondido etc.

Our beautiful boutique facility houses a small number of dogs for board and train (in-​kennel training). Our group classes are held on our safe, fully-​fenced and lighted 5,000 sq. ft. main grass dog training field. We do not train in public parks, oily parking lots, inside buildings or retail stores.

History

Established in 1971.

Lu established the Encinitas Obedience Academy after moving to Encinitas (Olivenhain) in 1971. She spent four decades training thousands of dogs at all levels and disciplines. Her animal advocacy in training, animal rescue, 4H leadership, promoting public dog-​friendly spaces, service dogs and establishing dog parks are all proof of our commitment to the local canine community.

Our goal is to help dogs and their owners work together better as close family members. We look forward to working with you and your dog in private lessons, group lessons or our in-​kennel boarded training program.

Victor continues the tradition leading the family dog training business that has been in operation since 1971.
