History
Established in 2006.
Since graduation from his specialty program in Periodontology, Dr. Koltun has taught periodontal surgery as well as the placement and use of dental implants as a staff doctor at Maimonides Medical Center and Long Island College Hospital in New York.
As a teacher and scientist he has been involved in dental research at New York University Dental School in the Departments of Periodontics, Oral Medicine, and Post Graduate Endodontics, and was the Director and Founder of the Northeast Atlantic Dental Forum and presently Director and Founder of the North County Dental Forum in San Diego.
His lecture presentations range from local to national levels with seminars given at the National Cancer Institute, American Academy of Hematology, New York State Dental Society annual meetings, Maimonides Medical Center, Long Island College Hospital, Fordham University Graduate School, New York University Graduate Biology Department, Lutheran Hospital, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, Mexico Ci

Dr. Koltun is a native New Yorker and now a Californian, who was educated, clinically trained, and is actively involved for over 20 years in biological and dental research. He received his Bachelor of Arts Degree from Brooklyn College, his Masters of Science Degree in Biology from Long Island University, and his Doctor of Philosophy in Physiology from NYU.
After a 2 year period over which he authored and published approximately 25 articles in national and international journals he served on staff at both The National Cancer Institute (National Institutes of Health)
in Bethesda, Maryland and at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.
After graduating New York University Dental School he received a fellowship in Oral Medicine and Surgery at Memorial Sloan Kettering Hospital, and then went on to pursue his postdoctoral training in Periodontology at NYU.
