History

Established in 2001.

Encinitas F.S. is part of the international Foot Solutions organization with 150 locations in the U.S. and present in 14 countries around the globe. Our location was one of the 1^st 10 Foot Solutions franchises to be incorporated in 2001 under then owner Gary Gramkow, and was sold to the current owner, Darryl McLaughlin in 2010. We specialize in custom crafted orthotics to address a variety of foot and lower extremity pathologies and work in conjunction with the local medical community to help San Diego residents achieve and maintain a high quality of life through guiding optimal gait. We measure feet and fit shoes accordingly so you can expect the perfect fit, every time. Our staff are trained in foot anatomy and biomechanics as well as identifying and relieving a number of foot pathologies, such as plantar fasciitis, bunions, and Morton’s neuromas among others. Joshua R.

Manager

Joshua started in this business in 2014 as a sales associate and quickly developed a passion for foot health and the clients whom Foot Solutions serves. Now with a strong, well-​trained team and the backing of the owner, Darryl McLaughlin, the business is thriving. Joshua obtained his certification as a Theraputic Fitter of Shoes in 2015 through the Academy of Pedorthic Science in Atlanta, GA and is working toward the Certified Pedorthist accreditation. Joshua’s education background is in Psychology and Language Education and his work experience comes from a previous career in Hospitality. He enjoys surfing, partaking in the Public Ministry as one of Jehovah’s Wittnesses, and spending time with his daughter, Kaia.
