I offer daily dog walks, multiple home visits/​day, overnight in your home pet sitting and live-​in care in your home. I also offer pet taxi and airport rides. I do NOT offer boarding.

History

Established in 2004.

I started pet sitting professionally in CT in 1996. I sold my business there after 8 years, and moved to Encinitas. I started Claws and Paws Pet Sitting with my business partner in January 2004. I have 19 years experience as a professional pet sitter. So you know you’ll be hiring someone reliable and serious about your pets, if you hire me. I have attended 3 pet sitting conferences around the country and have networked and continue to build relationships with pet sitters and other pet pros all over the country and right here in San Diego county. I am a wealth of information and resources should you ever need help or advice about your pet. I am always happy to lend a hand, and am proud of my strong work ethic. Hailing from CT, I graduated Central Ct State Univ. with a BA in Communications. I worked at a number of TV jobs, and started pet sitting on the side. I eventually got burnt-​out from TV and became a full time pet sitter, starting my first business in 1996. After 8 years, I sold it, moved to Encinitas and started Claws and Paws with my business partner. We now have 3 part time employees working for us as needed, so there is usually someone available for your pet care needs if I am booked or off duty.
