We specialize in sports and family Chiropractic. Dr. John Paul Condon is a Certified Sports Chiropractic Practitioner. Dr. Lara Condon has been trained in the Webster breech method for helping to re-​position malpositioned babies. Together they have amazing results with many conditions, including, but not limited to headaches/​migraines, neck pain, back pain, numbness/​tingling in the arms/​hands, feet/​legs, female health, and much more!

History

Established in 2002.

The Chiropractic Life Center was started by a man with a dream and a mission to serve as many people as divinely possible with love, honesty and integrity through dynamic chiropractic care. Dr. John Paul Condon and Dr. Lara Condon have built this family-​owned and operated practice to be a place of healing and hope, an inspiration to change lives and a meeting place for many local people.

Drs. John Paul and Lara C.

Business Owner

Dr. John Paul grew up in Long Island, New York. He received a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition with an emphasis in Nutritional Biochemistry from the University of Connecticut. He then received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Logan College in St. Louis, Missouri where he was on the Dean’s List. Dr. John Paul is also a Certified Chiropractic Sports Practitioner (CCSP). He has competed in many sports including Ironman triathalons.

Dr. Lara hails from Lancaster, Pennsylvania. After receiving a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, she went on to get a Doctorate in Chiropractic at Sherman College in South Carolina. She was president of her class. Dr. Lara is trained in the Webster Breech Technique which is used to help turn breech and mal-​positioned babies before they are born. Her expertise with babies and pregnant women has benefited many families. She has attended several births to adjust the mom to ease labor.

I cannot say enough about Dr John Paul and the staff at Chiropractic Life Center. I met Dr John Paul three years ago as I was suffering from lower back pain causing my sciatica to act up making my right leg tingle with pain. Dr. John Paul took great care of me focusing on the major issues first, and helping me develop an achievable exercise/​stretch plan. In less than 30 days, my lower back was pain free!
I feel as though everyone at Chiropractic Life is my extended Encinitas family taking excellent care of me!!!

The healing touch of a good adjustment has the power to improve your life, health and attitude. You will spend every minute of your life living in the body that you develop and care for, so take care of yourself and get adjusted. You can either live in the Lambourgini or the Pinto version of yourself, it is up to you!
Your lifestyle of eating, hygiene and exercise habits can only go so far. Subluxations can cut off blood flow to your organs and cause rapid deterioration in your most prized possession. They have posters and models that show how a bone out of place can screw you up in ways that you would not expect.
Dr. John Condon gets in there and moves your bones around to help improve your health. A little traction here, activation there, some snaps and cracks to move things into alignment can make a huge difference. Visualize an hourglass and only a certain amount of sand can get through the glass at one time. Subluxations cause the body to break down because they cut off the nutrients that you need for health.
Sometimes we have a little pain bothering us and think, I can live with it. But the pain does not go away and we start to deteriorate and just cope with it. Right? It is so easy to do nothing!
Do you tale prescriptions or over the counter drugs? If so you might just be masking the symptoms that your body is sending you. What would your life be without relying on drugs?
In the initial consultation you get to sit down with the doctor and learn what is going on. Each vertebrae in the spine affects parts of your body. He will tell you if the subluxations are compromising your kidneys, adrenals, or any number of other parts. And yes, that includes your sexual organs too!
The Chiropractic Life Center gets pretty busy and the biggest downside is the fact that it is first come, first served. They ask you to make an appointment, but that appointment means nothing. You have to wait your turn every time. It is not fast, so be prepared to wait your turn.
After your adjustment you will feel better and live in a healthier body too.

The Chiropractic Life Center has always been great to me. I moved away about a year and a half ago and always look forward to Dr. JP’s adjustment when I come home to visit. He hasn’t just helped me with back pain, but also digestive issues, plantar fasciitis, sinuses and headaches. It’s amazing how much better I feel when I leave The Chiropractic Life Center! Wish I can take you guys with me!

I have been going here for over 3 years to improve my health. This business is a complete package (i.e. friendly staff, good health knowledge, experience, and health massage). This is a really good place for athletes. Dr John is an athlete himself and he has helped many other athletes (i.e. Pros). I would recommend Dr John to anyone. I would not believe the one bad review, that is not my experience.

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Condon (s) for 3 years now. The only reason I went is because my wife started going after a severe episode she had. She convinced me that it helped her significantly. As helicopter pilots, we spend a lot of time hunching and enduring the vibrations that occur in flight. So I went, and my back issues, overall health, and pop up injuries have all gotten better. The staff and Dr Condon’s attitude revolve around being personable and improving your quality of life. They follow up consistently and try to make sure you’re getting what you need.
Months ago I endured a medical issue that left me with severe migraines. The medicine (s) I took just didn’t seem to do the trick. Dr. Condon insisted I stop them and let his work be the leading therapy. Incrementally, off the meds and with his help, the migraines ceased. I couldn’t be more thankful.
From time to time they’ll mention some of the products they sell which are hit or miss. A lot of that has to do with me not willing to go COMPLETELY natural. I enjoy food too much. Nonetheless, he gives great advice and knows all his patients by name. I’ve referred 4 – 5 people to him who are now regulars.

Began adjustments on the recommendation of my midwife when I was experiencing severe thigh/​leg numbness and pain due to pregnancy/​sciatic nerve. Felt MUCH better immediately and went in for weekly adjustments until 6 weeks post-​birth. I appreciate the time Drs. Lara and Jean-​Paul spent with me. They, as well as the staff, are kind and genuinely caring. The longest I had to wait was 20 minutes. Definitely recommend!

My husband chose to try this office based on a friends referral and it went south from the moment we walked in, (mind you he was in excruciating pain)! After two hours sitting and waiting to be seen, the Dr never saw him. We were asked to come back the next day to go over the results of a «computer test» (vague!) He (my hub) returned the next day to sit for another hour with a salesman who pitched his plan and quizzed my husband on a pamphlet that was given to him the day before. (mind you, he had a back injury and was sitting in serious pain while this man talked aimlessly for an hour) Again, he never saw the Dr and left after an hour because he couldn’t endure the salesman speech and the fact that «salesman» not «Dr» was going over his X-​rays with him. Bottom line, the two office staff that peddle niceties in the front should sell used cars and as for the Dr… don’t know, never saw him!

Each time I walk into Chiropractic Life Center in Encinitas, I am greeted with at least 3 ‘hellos’ and all smiles. You feel as if you are their one-​and-​only client because all of the staff are all so personal with you; they are all so friendly & professional as well.
Dr. Lara and Dr. John are sincerely interested in helping you heal and will exhaust every effort in doing so. I highly recommend their business and I always look forward to walking in their doors ;)
