I am so happy that I found Cory and Bulldog Audio & Video! It is such a pleasure to work with Cory! After reading all the many positive reviews, I decided to call Cory. He answered immediately and we discussed on the phone what I wanted to do. I was impressed with his knowledge. He set an appointment for the next day. Cory is very patient and explained the best and most economical ways to achieve the sound system that I wanted to do in our home. His prices are very competitive and he gives you an itemized proposal to go over which we immediately agreed to. Cory and Shane arrived on time the day to do the installation, and completed the job in the time he said he would. Our system is perfect and we love the setup and the sound. Cory picked out the speakers etc and we are very very happy! I totally recommend and encourage anyone to use Cory and Bulldog A & V. You will be glad you did! We needed to install two TV monitors at our business. These are large screens that needed to be wall mounted and Corey did an awesome job. He not only got them mounted on the wall but also made it look super clean. No wires in sight! I highly recommend Bulldog for any personal and/​or business audio and visual needs.

We needed to get our wifi working throughout the whole house and Corey set up access points throughout the house. Not only that but we now have 2 WiFi networks. One is for the kids and has a limit on data, turns on at 5am off at 9pm, can’t access content for those over 17 yrs old and allows me to block sites.
We were so pleased that we bought a new TV from him (he price matched), had him install it and had him provide and configure a Sonos system.
He is very knowledgeable and personable and not at all like «that IT guy at the office».

Corey was so helpful in coming out to discuss my project and squeeze me into his schedule for the work. We put an iPad mini in wall for use with home security and automation. I had a tight timeline to complete before our daughter was born and he made it happen. Great work, good people, 5 stars all around!

I recently moved to the San Diego area and after the move had to set up my audio-​video components all over again. After reading the other user reviews of Bulldog AV, I called Corey for help. He was (is) extremely knowledgable and worked with me to get into the digital age. His suggestions were very sound and we arrived at the components and stereo furniture I wanted, but it doesn’t end there. His service policy is the best I have ever had. Recently, I had a few minor issues and even though the installation was early this year, Corey didn’t hesitate to come to the house and respond to them. You can’t beat that!
Corey doesn’t push any products but tells you about them so you can make an intelligent decision. He has contacts for other vendors that you might need and we needed a wallboard repairer to fix holes (not caused by Bulldog) and who we found was very skilled. So, bottom line is, if you need help with either beginning or upgrading a AV system, Bulldog gets my highest recommendation.

Corey has helped us several times troubleshooting, upgrading our A/​V systems, and suggesting enhancements to improve our audio/​video experience. Very knowledgeable, reasonable pricing, and expert work. Highly recommended.

We moved into our home in October 2014 and the previous owners left behind their receiver and speakers. Having gone down that rabbit hole of multiple remotes and cables before, I decided to save myself the headache and called Bulldog AV. Corey got back to me in a timely manner and came out to assess my system. He did not try to oversell me and said that the existing speakers were great. He introduced the SONOS sound system, but did not pressure me at all. He demonstrated the system for us — dumbing it way down for me and geeking it way up for my husband. We were sold on it immediately and I’m really surprised about how much I use it and like it. I’m a very late adopter and not technically inclined and the system is incredibly intuitive and reliable. Corey also installed a universal remote for me. I was skeptical that this one would be better than all the other remotes that went to remote heaven, but so far so good and I can already tell this one is by far of a higher quality. He even fixed my DirecTV cable box for me. I can’t say enough good things about his company and integrity and commitment. He’s checked in on me a few times to make sure things are going well and I’m happy to say that I’ve had no issues. I think he must have designed it so that I (or my husband) can’t mess it up!

Corey and his team were phenomenal! From the get-​go, Corey was professional and VERY knowledgeable. They had exactly what we needed and gave great advice to help us realize our backyard sound system and outdoor TV. The communication was excellent. They showed up when they said they would (I know– sounds simple but the industry can prove otherwise sometimes). They also went above and beyond to help us out. If ever I needed anything after the install, Corey was there either on the phone or in person any time. It was a pleasure having Corey and his team. Any future AV projects are going straight to Bulldog.

When I talked to Corey from Bulldog AV about a year ago he called me because one of his clients had trouble with his DirecTV set up.
The Directv corporate installers couldn’t get the job done to his specifications.
We came out installed it the way his client requested it and we have installed Directv for many of his clients since.

Corey really knows his stuff, is a hard worker, and is a true pleasure to work with. He did a great job installing an awesome system in my 1929 home with many logistical challenges along the way that didn’t slow him down at all. Highly recommend Corey, his team and Sonos! Corey did an excellent job on the installation of our AV and home automation systems (including security). He was referred to us by our AV contractor in Houston through a local customer who also happens to be a manufacturer of AV equipment. His design was well thought out. It was reviewed by our Houston AV contractor who talked with Corey directly. Our Houston contractor was very pleased with the design and felt the pricing was fair. Due to our relocation from Houston, the wiring was done (with drywall and paint) before we arrived. In general, I was a bit concerned to have this work done while I was not available locally. However, Corey treated the project like this was his home. Doing wiring in an existing home is always challenging. Corey and his crew did an excellent job. Nothing is visible. We are particularly impressed with Corey’s service mindedness and his skill in training us how to us everything with getting too technical. As expected with a large project like this, there were some add-​ons and a couple of blips with people Corey works with such as the independent satellite television installer. He was totally business like and fair in how he priced add ons and handled these couple of blips. I recommend Corey unequivocally. I am so pleased we were able to find him. AV and home automation are fields filled mostly with mediocre contractors at best. There are so many who don’t have the technical knowledge and skills needed. Corey has the whole package – technical knowledge and skill; customer focus; integrity; fair pricing; and a sincere interest in seeing his clients use and enjoy the systems. In sum, he is as good as our Houston contractor and this is a very high compliment.

I’m a home automation gadget nut and have done a lot of research on home audio and video needs. I can say unequivocally, Bulldog Audio and Video is the best in the business!

They are conscientious, knowledgeable of the technology, and most importantly, tailor a system that fits your needs from a use and price standpoint. If you have a budget in mind, they work to meet it. I started with just a few things to test them. Corey helped us come up with a great two-​step AV solution matching our needs and budget. He REALLY listened to what we were looking for and delivered. To start, let me say Bulldog A/​V rocks! Service, knowledge, and experience all in one. I have no reservations recommending these guys for any of your audio/​video needs. None. And I am very particular about contractors/​service people, because you rarely get what you pay for and the service typically lacks. Bulldog actually delivers on all fronts.
What did Bulldog video do for us? Well, we already had an existing system which includes a receiver, DVD, cable box, Apple TV and an audio distribution system (to play music in different rooms throughout the home). Previous company we used did a decent job with component selection, but final implementation on ease of use lacked. It was always a chore to get music playing because of the user interface and audio system we had. And the handheld remote we had to use for turning on our system (TV/​DVD) was okay, but we had to press a few buttons to turn on the system and turn off, etc. Should be able to just hit one button to turn on one to turn off.
Searching Unilocal we found Bulldog A/​V. We also had a neighbor who had used them and they showed me what they did and I said that is what we want. Very slick system. So called Bulldog A/​V.
Met Corey (owner) who went over what we had, what we wanted and he discussed the options making it very clear what would be best and why. So we ended up initially having Bulldog remove our existing audio system and replacing it with the newer version recommended by Corey. Once installed we would be able to select which room and what source for the music all via an app on the iPhone, iPad or iMac. So simple and easy to use. We also wanted to have an iPad Launchport installed on our wall so we had one place where we can select and play music. This was a great choice and we thank Corey for suggesting it.
Overall system installation went great and because the previous contractors did such a poor cabling job, Oscar, who did most of the installation, removed several cables which had been cluttering our cabinet. This was an unexpected service! Hate clutter.
We decided to also have our remote replaced with an easier device (touch screen, etc) and Bulldog also made it so it was a one button on and off for the system. Easy for family to use, guests, house sitters, etc. Again, great suggestion by Corey.
Lastly, we had pair of outdoor speakers but one was not working. The previous contractor could not figure it out and thus for the past several years we only had one speaker working. Asked Corey if they could get it working. Took Oscar a few minutes to isolate the problem. A week later (scheduling) they came out and replaced a section of the speaker wire that was shorted and now we have both speakers working! Amazing what knowledgeable people can accomplish.
All we can say is these guys know what they are doing, and have very good workers who are professional, answer all your questions and are willing to provide the best experience possible.

Corey and Oscar are ALL STARS.
They are pure professionals. I had a complicated job asking them to hook up a rooftop antenna and bypass all cable and dish service, so I pay no monthly fee. That’s not what they normally do but Corey was up for the challenge. Corey sits on one of the technical Boards for Denon so obviously the guy knows his stuff.
I had some preconceived notions about what equipment I wanted. Corey really helped me make a more informed decision based on his vast experience — and I am sure glad I took his advice. The system looks amazing. Corey introduced me to the Sonos sound system which we now use everyday. They reworked my router location, and did a bunch of rewiring to optimize my house. They custom programmed a universal remote control for us so basically all the remotes for my components just sit in the drawer and we just use one remote to rule them all.
There were some hiccups along the way but they don’t nickel and dime you for little stuff. Prices are reasonable given the amount of expertise you are getting for free. They just do whatever it takes to do the job right.

Bulldog Audio and Video was professional, creative and thorough in designing and installing our home audio/​video entertainment system. Follow-​up customer service has been superb in trouble shooting and up-​grading the system.
