2nd street printing was started by Mike Spratley who had worked at Anderson printing for 17 years. Since Anderson printing has closed it’s doors, Mike picked up from where they left off… providing all the printing services needed for the local community.

Generally known as the best local print shop in San Diego and certainly the go to place for anyone who is in Encinitas. As the 5 stars indicate, this place is as good as it gets.
I have been getting prints from Mike and his crew for over 6 years now and every experience has been amazing.

This places is amazing. Stopped by this shop earlier today several minutes after they had closed. Normally businesses would wave off customers after closing time, but they opened up the doors and helped me! Although they had already closed up most of the machines, they turned the printer back on and printed some very important paperwork for me. Excellent customer service!

Had same day printing, was done in 5 minutes. Mike worked with me to create the best quality I could get, since I emailed my PDF and it did not come through well. He was super responsive in his emails and helped me get it exactly right. I also needed some smaller flyers done on the spot, and he made them within minutes.
Highly recommend this company, good business ethics, good pricing, and good quality. Everything you need in a local print shop!

These guys are nice and do quality work. I asked my business cards to be done by 10 am the following day and they had it done… the way i wanted it with good ink and card stock. Since they are local, I will move forward with them now.

Second Street Printing prints our non-​profit newsletter every month. Mike Spratley, the owner, provides excellent service, including fast turnaround time. Mike worked for Mark Anderson for many years in Encinitas and the tradition of great printing at very competitive costs have been continued at Second Street Printing. I would recommend them for your printing needs without hesitation. If Mike can’t do a complex job, he will gladly recommend you to someone who can.

Mike has been my go-​to print guy since 2000. Always quick, always friendly, always professional. You do not get this knowledge & enthusiasm from big chain competitors. Prices also blow the competition away! There is no other choice in printing anywhere in all of North County than 2nd. St. Printing PERIOD!

Having worked at a print shop myself I had somewhat high expectations when looking for a print shop after having bad luck with the local FedEx Kinkos. No matter what project I send over, these guys get it done and quickly! Everything from large format to business cards, everything always turns out great. New print shop open in Encinitas! The owner is Mike who has worked at Anderson Stationary (just up the block) for EVER! so if you have ever been there… you already know that you are getting great customer service and quality work done here.
Mike made me a HUGE high resolution banner already. SO excited! (i have a good friend who works at another print shop but he couldn’t make my banner so darn huge!)
