History

Established in 2003.

E Plus Copy Center & Promotions began as an errand service. The owner was asked to put the business headquarters «where the carts are» in the lobby of the Jubilee Grocery Store in Emmitsburg since one of the services was grocery delivery. Soon, convenience services like copying, faxing and graphic design were outselling the errands, so the errand service was phased out. The company continues growth as full service printing and graphic design, a comprehensive web site and the publishing of a good-​news monthly newspaper pave the way to a bright future.

Business Owner

Deb, pictured left with store manager, Grace, has a degree in Sports Management from Towson University and pursued a graduate degree in Parks and Recreation Management from Frostburg University. She was a former Recreation Superintendent for Frederick County, Maryland for 9 years. She left the County position to pursue the American Dream — to own and prosper by owning her own business. While the pursuit of the dream has proven far more challenging than anticipated, Deb’s business continues to grow in service and customer base. E Plus Copy Center & Promotions as well as The Catoctin Banner Newspaper operate on the premise that the customer is always treated with courtesy and respect.
