Food OK and just OK… Nothing there stands out as real Colombian food. They list the food on the menu on the walls behind the counter, just no prices. I order a two plates of rice and beans, no meat. $ 9.00 this is the hood people. $ 9.00 for two orders of rice and beans… REALLY!
I also order a side of tostones. On the menu its $ 3.00, on my receipt $ 6.00…WHAT!
I mentioned to the cashier /order taker that I was overcharged by $ 3.00 for the Tostones and they tell me to relax. THAT WAS RUDE!
And try placing an order on the phone, you can’t cause they don’t understand English. And, I don’t speak Spanish well enough to place an order.

Tapioca Bread: Soft, gooey, and warm! Awesome combo — never had tapioca bread before
Sweet Corn Bread: it’s like the toppers of corn muffins. I usually love the top part because it’s crispier/crunchier — tasted like corn (totally bad for you, though)

Last Sunday I decided to stop by this Colombian bakery for a meal. I’m on the fence about my experience…
Its a small bakery selling various baked items and rice plates created from food sitting on steam tables. I ordered the beef steak with rice and beans for $ 6.50 even:
Normally I wouldn’t like a thin steak like this, but I enjoyed it because it was not dry. The rice and beans were pretty good as well. But I knew it was too good to be true. Right after finishing my plate, i noticed the ridiculous sodium levels as i was extremely thirsty. I’m pretty sure it was from the steak, but i can’t be certain. Nor will i go find out as $ 6.50 for a small plate of food doesn’t warrant an investigation…
