Chubby Burger Chicken & Pizza

Well, I dunno how to start. I have been living in the area for almost a year and this place delivers till late however I never had a chance to try. Today I happened to be there and trying to see what to order, it seems like they only offer The fried chicken was not looking fresh so I asked if there was grilled chicken, the guy said nope. This is all. Cool I then looked at the dessert, I wanted the chocolate cake which looked like only cheese in it. He was inpatient and kept pulling out the regular chocolate cake. Then his coworker came over and said «this is same shit». Wow. I was like it was rude enough which was no other chicken option that it was only 11pm and you close at 1 am. Why being so cold to the customers and just said the cake was $ 3.75 which clearly says $ 2.75 on the board, I just put down $ 5 cash and left then I guessed it never would be my name at this place.

Well that was rude. So it’s a Sunday afternoon, and I ordered online. And my mom suddenly wanted to be an angel and got me an entire pie of pizza. So, I called Chubby Burger, and said «may I please cancel this order with my hot wings, cheeseburgers, and etc.» and I gave them my address.
They told me I needed a good reason to cancel the order… what? I told them my mother walked in with food and I didn’t want to waste EXTRA money on extra food. So, they decided to YELL at me. «The delivery man is already out! Why you call now?!» Uhm okay? «Don’t order from here again» not a problem. Okay then.

this place does not deserve to even be called a restaurant. they are dirty, food is burnt, forget orders and cancel orders without calling. so please everyone do not order from here. i have ordered several time in a row.
1^st order: they food was burned
2^nd order: forgot food and burned
3^rd order: they cancelled it without informing grubhub nor calling us. then blaming it to on a website.

What do you expect from a place run by brown people who cant fry things properly

alright, honestly, it’s nothing spectacular — it’s a munchie spot!
BUT I learned it’s easier to call an order in! seamless takes 40 mins to an hour, when I call they tell me 30 mins BUT it always arrives in less! Burgers are decent, so is the pizza, and fries. Had popcorn chicken and it’s eh. Not a horrible place.

I really wish I could give 0 stars. Because after two hours and two customer service calls to grub hub, I still haven’t gotten my food. The delivery man just called me and told me he’s a few minutes away. I told him I’ve been waiting two hours already and he said it’s because he had 12 orders to deliver. TWELVE!!! Why would one person have to delivery twelve orders? How can you even hold twelve orders?
Yesterday I waited an hour and a half for my food and when it got here it was all cold. The delivery guy tried to argue with me about the distance (which is like 1 mile away) then told me he had 6 other orders to deliver. I called chubby burger for a refund and the guy on the phone told me to pass my iPhone to the delivery guy so he could talk to him. That was crazy unprofessional. Like I would ever give some stranger on a bike with a bad attitude my phone.
I know my food will be disgusting by the time this guy gets here but I’ve already waited two hours and I am not about to order from another place and wait another 45 minutes. Fortunately, grub hub offered to pay for my meal.
I would not recommend ordering from this place!
Edit: food got here 20 mins after I wrote my initial review. They don’t give you real bacon. The fries were really stale and the burger was very soggy. That makes 2 hours and 30 minutes total for bad food.

I wish I can give this place 0 stars. We ordered on seemless and we ordered the special for one x large pizza and buffalo wings with a 2 liter soda. Our food took 90 minutes to get to us. We called then when it was an hour into our order and someone picked up and said another 10 mins. They were repeating 9 it order which meant it hasn’t been shipped yet. And then we waited another 25 mins and I called back and he said 10 mins again. We were all so angry. But it was raining so we thought there might be delays or what not. Maybe the food would be worth the wait. So finally after 90 mins of the wait the delivery guys finally shows up hands me the food quickly and runs away. I can feel the pizza was so cold. We opened it up and the whole pizza was so cold and dried. It Was Too Salty As Well. The wings were horrible. The box opened up in the bag so the sauces was everywhere. We were so discussed with the whole service. Ughh never ordering from here or will let anyone I know order from here.

Well I ordered a turkey burger and they sent a beef one after 1.5 hours of waiting. Beef makes me sick.

I was really excited when this place opened, it seemed like a great addition to the neighborhotd for days when I don’t feel like cooking dinner. As most of the reviews state, the delivery time is always abysmal. I live a 10 minute walk away & yet it is always an hour plus wait when I order from here. The food is average at best, but my husband seems to enjoy some items from here, hence me putting up with the shameful service. That is until today… I ordered something I had never gotten from Chubby Burger, a Philly Cheesesteak. IT WAS THE WORST THING I HAVE EVER SEEN! It was covered in… wait for it… KETCHUP! WHO THE F^^^ PUTS KETCHUP ON A PHILLY CHEESESTEAK AS A DEFAULT TOPPING!!! I am so offended. I didn’t even bother to eat the shameful thing. Just threw it out, which makes me a terrible person because I wasted food. Legit just watched a documentary about how much food is wasted in America & Chubby Burger forced my hand. *cries in corner shamefully*

The food is generally good but the service sucks. They constantly screw up when I ask for a simple delivery. Maybe if they had someone with a grasp of the English language answering the phone, they’d provide better service. The only way I’d ever give them business again is if I was starving.

I ordered it said delivery in 1 hour which is a long time during the middle of the day for 2 sandwhiches. I waited an hour no delivery no call. I called and he said wait another half and hour not oh I will send a guy right away. Don’t bother. Just go somewhere and get lunch! cause I’m still hungry.

This place is not only terribly unprofessional, but the food is horrible. Having a lazy Saturday morning because I was having back trouble, I ordered breakfast for delivery. First, the food took an hour and 15 minutes to arrive. Not only was it late, but the delivery guy called to tell me that he couldn’t deliver the food because he forgot his bike lock. I couldn’t go down 14 floors to pick it up with the way I was feeling — plus delivery always delivers to my door. I fought with him on the phone, and finally came to the conclusion that he should just leave if he’s going to be that rude and unprofessional. I complained on the website I ordered from and then got a knock at my door about 10 – 15 minutes later. They brought it up. So if that wasn’t annoying enough, the meal was cold. The pancakes were rock hard and had something red all over them — not sure what that was. The eggs broke in the same container as the pancakes so they were also soaked in egg yolk. The menu said it would come with a free coffee, but I didn’t get anything.
This place is not worth ordering from. Horrible Food + Horrible Service = DON’T DO IT!

Best best best love their food they have more then 200 Item. To eat fresh salad fresh lamb fresh chicken very good price and they not hiding anything really good costumer service if yah looking for cheap ass nasty burger so keep eating from

I ordered a pizza and it took an hour and a half to get here, even though I live 2 blocks away. When it finally got here, it was cold and the box was banged up a little.
Like, really?

So gave this place a try a few months after it opened, and I’m so sorry I did. Menu looked similar to King Rogers (fondly remembered go to spot in my teenage years; when money was tight but the hunger was strong) but that’s all it was. The fried chicken looks dried out and burnt.
I ordered the hot wings with fries and a burger for my wife. The hot wings were not spicy, the fries were mehh and the burger was disgusting. It tasted of cardboard and no real discernible meat taste.
How do you call yourself Chubby Burger but don’t use real 100% beef, bison, or turkey? Very disappointing! The neighborhood is prime for a GOOD burger or fast food restaurant that isn’t McDonald’s or Popeye’s. Don’t waste your hard earned money on this place, unless they change for the better.

I work across the street from this place, and I find it to say it is super continent when I need something to eat.
I mostly get my salads from them, and let me tell you they hook it up the way I want it.
There service is really great, they are super nice and are quick to take your order and if your not satisfied they make sure to fix it.
Although I haven’t tried many of their stuff I am willing on giving my cheat meals a go at this place. I also want to give their sweets a try!
Overall if you order what you ask for you will get it just the way you want it

Having lived here for most of my life, I noticed this new place opening up in the neighborhood so I decided to give them a shot given that our variety of take out food is really only Chinese.
We originally ordered through Grubhub because we thought it would be neat to use technology like that. We placed our order and it did accurately predict what time the food would arrive which was about an hour. Though in my opinion is kind of long to wait for food. Imagine arriving at a restaurant and waiting an hour for your food. The quality of the food was pretty terrible too.
Round 2:
Me and my girlfriend got hungry again and we got tired of ordering from New Taste, our local Chinese spot whom can deliver your in under 20 minutes of ordering by the way. So we gave Chubby Burger one more shot via phone since Internet seems to be too quirky I gave them the benefit of the doubt. Turns out it was exactly the same, it took an hour for them to get our food here and when it got here, the fries were soggy and somewhat cold. My girlfriend’s wrap wasn’t even correct. We specifically stated that the wrap could not have spicey ingredients and what did it contain? Massive pieces of jalapeño peppers and spicey chicken. The guy on the phone was also incredibly rude and very hard to understand.
We gave them 2 shots. Fool me once shame on you, Fool me twice shame on me.
NEVER AGAIN!

I’ve ordered from Chubby Burger about 4 times and each time got progressively worse. Ok, that came out a bit harsh and that’s not to say this place can’t work wonders for those late night munchies, but all in all it’s highly passable. Granted, I’ve gotten delivery each time and maybe it’s one of those places you need to eat fresh to truly appreciate but I can say that the food mostly came puke-​warm to plain cold when it arrived. The cheeseburger did have good flavor but the fact that it had probably been made close to an hour before only worked against it. If it’s late and there’s no other option, this place works just fine. Otherwise, you can probably move on to the next food joint for more savory fare.
