When l come here its like the luck of the draw. You never know what you’re gonna get and that’s fine with me. I love adventure even at a discount food outlet. They sell produce(although it’s not the most fresh), frozen food, dairy, canned food, kitchen items(for catering) and paper supplies(for catering, restaurant and carry out services). They also have deeply discounted items, but as l said, you never know when they will have them. Of the numeroud times l have shopped here l have purchssed: a 2 gal. container of blueberry muffing batter ready to bake for $ 3, dino-shaped chicken nuggets for $ 2/bag(had about 50 in it), Burger King burgers($ 3 for about 20), 5lb bag of sweet potatoe fries for $ 2.95, a sleeve of high quality plastic cups(50 ct.)with a local restaurant’s name on them for $ 1, 8 oz. containers of Heinz ketchup 2 for a $ 1.you get my drift. You just never know what they will have as a lot of the deeply discounted tems are damaged during transit and sent to the outlet to be sold. You can also purchase regular priced items as well. If you live nearby, check it out. You may be pleasantly surprised.

So I heard about this place via the Howchow blog. Didn’t know what to expect at all… I had driven by this place many times and never knew it even existed haha. Anyways, the front of the store looks a little worn down. Inside, it’s a no-frills kind of food store. Think like a dimmer and dingier version of Home Depot or something. And since this store is primarily meant for food industry workers, expect to find everything in large(bulk) quantities. So if you ever have a need to bring home gallons of mayo, this place should be at the top of your to-go lists. And despite its small size(actually it’s deceptively larger inside than it looks outside), it still is a fun store to browse around and the prices here are very reasonable. The prices of some items will beat Costco while Costco wins with other items… so shop around. They carry both Sysco’s own brands as well as some name brand items. There is a small section for kitchen items. You can buy Mercer knives for dirt cheap(I think it was like $ 5 for a paring knife) and the pots and pans are also reasonably priced(but also well-made). I was hoping to find knife rolls to store my knives but no such luck in that department. They did have a few chef coats though. All in all, it’s a fun place to go and peruse the various things in the store. If I had a big event I needed to cook for, I’d certainly come back here and take a look at what they have to offer. However, I do wish that the kitchen equipment section was bigger. I’d come back but only if I were in the area; I don’t think I’d drive too far out of the way for this store.
