I went to R&R Taqueria the other day and got some of their dishes and was pretty disappointed. I was gonna give the place another try but then I saw Jessup Deli right next to it, so I decided to give this place a try. It’s a family owned deli and mini gas station-like store. They serve breakfast, lunch, fried foods, and of course deli. I went earlier today and got a #1 which consists of 2 slices of buttered toast, 2 eggs,(However you like it, I got over easy) 1 sausage patty, and a heaping amount of hash browns with grilled onions, all for only 7 bucks. Then I got 2 fried thighs and a drink. The breakfast was your usual stuff, but I’m a sucker for breakfast. I love breakfast. And they have their own version of mumbo sauce, more spicy than sweet, and it was great with the meal. Their fried chicken just sits there, in the container type thing so you’d think by the time you have it, it’s stale or too crunchy or not good, but when I bit into it, it was pouring out juice dripping onto my shirt UGHH. But the chicken was great, especially with the mumbo sauce. Crispy skin, tender and juicy meat. They have numerous TV’s on, and I really like how the owners call their regulars«Boss». The couple who own the place are very friendly and helpful, great people overall. Definitely a fan!
