Sher Khan Karate

Our daughter started training here one year ago, and it’s been a wonderful journey so far; not just for her, but for our whole family. The instructors take their work seriously while keeping the kids engaged. Quite an art in itself! I love that they are devoted to working with families to develop kids’ character, not just on the training floor, but at home and school as well. Sher Khan is so much more than a black belt factory. These kids know they have to put in time and hard work to earn their next belt. It’s not a cheap program, but it’s worth it. I see that many families have been with this facility for 10 – 15 years, that says something! Keep up the quality work, Chris and staff!

My 7 year old Daughter has passed the initial excitement stage of doing something new! She’s alway excited to go to class and now has me back out on the floor as well.

My son and daughter went through to Jr. Black Belt. My daughter continues to her adult black belt. My Son is a US Marine and recently said that his training at Sher Khan made doing the USMC hand to hand combat fighting easy… The staff is professional, caring and confident. They help their young students to be self disiplined. They hold them accountable yet do so in a caring and encouraging way. The kids have fun while learning good skills that will take them through the rest of their lives. My kids since ages 9 and 6 years old now adults are proof of this! The students «Earn» their Belts at this school. They can be proud of their accomplishment and know that the belt rank they wear is a reflection of their «true ability» as a martial artist, to do otherwise is a waste of time and money. Sher Khan Karate stands out in this regard as one of the best in the area! Our family has had a long standing relationship with the school. I and my wife even take their adult Kenpo Fitness.
Sher Khan Karate is an excellent school and it get my highest rating because it has earned it for over a decade…

2 weeks in and so far so good. My son likes it and they seem to be down to earth. I was told the contract was optional. I hope that stays true. We are using the trial period to assess the School.
I’m concerned abouth the number of students. Seems on the light side. I like that the kids on the floor get more personal attention. But is the school taking care of themselves business wise? I hope so. They seem like the good guys and you always want the good guy to win!

I’ve been attending the Kenpo fitness classes since August and it’s really made a difference in how I feel. The classes are self paced, and really keep you moving. Chris is a great motivator and the class is not intimidating at all. I’ve been to the gym in the past and never felt comfortable. Everyone is very friendly, and there is no judging because we are all there for the same goal. These classes definitely give you the all around exercises you need to get in shape and tone up. I would recommend everyone to come and try at least one class. I guarantee it will make you want to come back for more. I was doubtful at first and now I can’t get enough. Yeah for Chris… Thanks for all your hard work you do to keep this class as great as it can be.
