Specialties

What sets us apart from all the rest at Ajay’s Karate Academy?

* We are a local, family owned business, not a McDojo. Run by husband and wife team, open for 35+ years.

* Family atmosphere. Small classes.

* We teach traditional Taekwondo — teaching respect, discipline, work ethic, focus, self-control and more.

* We also specialize in self-defense training: breaking out of holds, hand to hand combat, defense against weapons — teaching to immobilize an attacker so you can get away.

* We are great with men, women and children. Teaching the art of Taekwondo, fitness, confidence building, coordination.

* With all this training — we still make it fun!

* All classes taught be 8th degree Grand Master — and World Champion — Michael Ajay.

History

Established in 1981.

«My kids have been with Master Michael Ajay for almost five years & he has helped them become championship winning students & competitors. I recommend Ajay’s Karate for anyone serious about training in the fine arts of Taekwondo. I take comfort in knowing that my kids are not just being trained by a good instructor, but one of the VERY BEST ever with 45+ years of experience… It’s all about getting your moneys worth and quality.» — Tony B.

«My son and I have been training with Master Ajay for a year. Everything about this experience has been a gift for us. First and foremost, Master Ajay is a master technician and is able to draw out the very best from each and every student.» — Campbell B.

«…Master Ajay teaches a traditional style, where self discipline, attention to detail, respect and known standards are consistently re-enforced. Master Ajay (an 8th degree black belt) teaches all of his classes personally.» — Bryan W.
