My Pug, Chami, and my Chihuahua/​Italian Greyhound mix, Ollie, loves their friends at Canine Clippers! Both go for baths and nail trims, and come home smelling SO good! I can tell they are happy and had a good experience. Before I had Ollie, I used to take Chami elsewhere, and she always seemed stressed out when I picked her up. I can tell Brianna and the rest of the staff are treating my furbabies as if they are their very own, and that means everything to me! Oh, and the adorable bandanas are an added bonus — Ollie wears his with pride and has started a collection!

I take my baby, Cassius, here regularly and the girls do SUCH a nice job. He’s a rottie/​gsd mix— and he typically hates water, but he doesn’t seem to mind it so much with these lovely ladies. I really appreciate that they are always very flexible when I drop in with him– I’m awful at making appointments.

These ladies are great! I bring our dog Kobe in to get his nails trimmed. He gets anxiety during the process because he had a bad experience at another pet location in Elk Grove was pretty traumatic. They talk him through it and are so patient & caring. So happy to support this local shop that has excellent customer service. I would definitely recommend Canine Clippers to anyone who wants to spoil their pets.

We take both of our German Shepherds here and absolutely love it! They have great customer service and they always fit them in. We were very impressed with their work (One of our dogs isn’t the easiest to work with) We highly recommend this place!

These ladies Re Wonderful! They always seem to find a way to squeeze our pets in for a groom. Plus, their price are great. most importantly tho, is the work they do. Our dogs always come out happy, clean and smelling good for weeks. My wife and I highly recommended this place; great people.

I take my Maltipoo here, he always comes out happy & taken care of. I like the fair prices although they have gone up but quite fair compared to other places. You do have to call 2 weeks in advance, but its worth it :)

My dachshund is a real YELLER when it comes to having her nails trimmed!!! The ladies at Canine Clipper make her feel comfortable by holding her and talking soothingly to her… BOTH OF THEM working with Bina as a loving team We are full time rv missionaries… whenever we come to visit our family here in Elk Grove, this is the ONLY place we bring her to!!!

We didn’t want to bring our small dogs to the big pet store groomers. We decided to take a chance with Canine Clippers when they opened for business, and we haven’t looked back since. We bring our Maltipoo and Shih-​tzu here on a regular basis and are never disappointed. They do a great job, and their prices are very reasonable.

Typically, we just take my dog to one of the major chain stores. We decided this time we might try a local small business instead. The lovely ladies at Canine Clipper took good care of Boomer today. He needed his long fur shaved and trimmed to start of the summer, so we dropped him off and were quoted $ 35 and 3 and a half hours. Not 3 hours later, Boomer was done. I ended up leaving a tip, but the initial price was the quoted $ 35. They didn’t do anything fancy, which is all I needed, and it was a must better price and cut than they give at the major chains. The ladies were very sweet and honest when I asked what good tipping etiquette is for grooming. The store is small, but clean and well kept. I’ll definitely be bringing Boomer back.

I am now a fan! I typically take my pup to her vet to get groomed, but they were booked. I called with an urgent need to get my Bulldog washed and they were able to fit her in asap. They did an amazing job with my pups many folds and I couldn’t be happier with the service. I will defiantly be back :)

I really love this place! They get the job done and my dog comes back very happy. Usually Sammy doesn’t like going to the groomer, but I think he’s really warmed up to the girls here. They deliver with every cut and I couldn’t be more happy. I will admit that I cheated on this place during the time they were closed, but that was the worst mistake of my life. I will never go to any other dog groomer! The best part is when you go pick up your dog and they come out looking super fancy with a complimentary bandana around their neck.

I’m so happy they’re open again! They were temporarily closed due to an emergency, and I’m glad they’re okay!
During their time away, it was difficult to find groomers who had the same skill and gentleness that they have. We tried a couple of different ones and they didn’t measure up to the Canine Clipper team.
We finally got to go in today. As soon as we walked into the salon, the puppies greeted Breanne with lots of tail wags and licks. The pups love them! Super satisfied with their work!

I love taking my dog to this groomer! It’s down the street from my house and they always do a great job with my fluffy dog. The only annoying thing is making an appointment with this place. They never pick up their phone when you call to make an appointment. You’ll have more luck booking an appointment if you just go there.

Door sign says open 8 – 5 Tuesday-​Saturday. Showed up at 3:30 on Thursday and no one there. Called on Saturday morning (March 7th) 8:30 a.m. and recording states that they are booked up until February 26th. (???) Still no one answers the phone. No wonder they have to close early due to lack of business. Would like to patronize this place, but, they are never there. Have to go elsewhere.

First time going to get my dog Tanko groomed and it was wonderful. Everything went smooth and they were so kind which I really appreciated. I wanted to get his nails cut but they got trimmed, but it was my fault for not being specific. I definitely recommend them, plus they have a reasonable priced package deal and gave these nice Christmas bandanas.

I wrote a review but it was placed in a section that states these reviews are not considered helpful. It also states, «The reviews below didn’t make the cut and are therefore not factored into this business’s overall star rating.» This is upsetting because I had an experience that was horrible. They took a chunk out of my dogs chest the size of a quarter. When I called them they said, «She didn’t bleed when she was here.» I had to take my dog to the vet because it got infected. I cost me $ 130.00. I tried to get them to pay for it but they were non-​responsive. I was going to pursue this through small claims just on principle, but it was a bad time to pursue this. The way they handled this was unprofessional.

HURRY BACK — we miss you and we are so terribly sorry that your house burned down.
We LOVE Canine Clippers — when we returned to Elk Grove after 4 years in Beaverton, OR we had to find a new groomer. We found Canine Clipper, and have been absolutely thrilled with them. Lady & Lily are 2 Miniature French Poodles who just LOVE, Brianna & Haley. They get so excited when we ask them if they want to go see Haley! They go every 2 weeks, like clock work — they get groomed, then the next appointment is a «shampoo & blow dry»! We never worry about the girls being muzzled, or mistreated in ANY way.

I was so worried about finding a good Grommet for my older dog because he does not like to be groomed. I felt sorry for him because he was so hot with all that hair. I heard good things about canine clippers so I decided to give it a try. She did an awesome job, giving him a very short cut all over, just like I asked. He is so happy now and so am I. I will bring him back and recommend canine clippers to anyone who needs a great groomer for their fur bsby

Canine Clipper is our favorite groomers in Elk Grove! The staff is very friendly, and our dogs always come out looking great.
I have two corgis, Sadie and Dexter, so we get the furminator bath and grooming. And every time they come out look great, with their bandanas and all!
