Cool Operator Heating & Cooling

This would be a one star review if the repair man hadn’t been so friendly… The price quoted by this company was less than other quotes and the reviews seemed pretty good so we thought we had made a solid choice. Long story short, we required a replacement part for our central air unit and Todd came out to switch out the part. The unit immediately started to make an extremely loud noise so we called them back. He returned in short order, again he was super friendly and apologetic, and made «adjustments» to the part he had installed. The unit continued to make this disturbing noise so we called again (we were polite and professional and just looking for a resolution). The woman who returned our call was so rude and unprofessional that we were shocked!!! Her behavior was very strange and erratic– she was yelling at my husband and he ended the phone call after trying to reason with her. We called another local company who came out the next day and replaced the exact same part. No more noise. So disappointed that we had to pay twice for a simple repair. Hundreds of dollars wasted and a frustrating experience.

Highly recommend this family business!!! They are reliable and honest!!! Very happy with the outcome and with the price! We got a new furnace, air conditioner and hot water heater through them and Todd laid out what was available and explained everything to us and then let us choose what we wanted. Work was on time and the finished product was awesome!!! I would go with no one else!!!

Cool Operator was great! They came in and helped fix a problem that was created by another vendor in our new home. Todd is trustworthy and very responsive! I wouldn’t think twice about referring them to friends and family.

I had this company fix my erratic heating and cooling in my 2 story house. It used to be unbearably too hot or too cold in some areas. The owner of the company spent all day correcting the problems with the furnace and the ductwork. My home is now so comfortable, I almost hate to go outside. His cost to me was so reasonable and the guarantee was more than I ever expected. Whenever I had to call his office, a pleasant young lady answered and was so polite, She even followed up that everything was to my satisfaction. I have recommended them to all my friends and everyone is very satisfied with their work. They always do what they promise. Keep up the good work.

I was stuck with no a/​c today and called several companies for pricing and availability to come out and cool operator answered right away! Best prices! Another company told me I needed a new unit — they lied! Cool Operator fixed the problem in minutes for less than the price of the other company’s service call fee. Will be using Cool Operator from now on!

Great service and decent prices. We had a couple estimates and Cool Operator came in a lot lower than the others. Todd was very helpful, friendly and timely.

Its hard to let someone in your home that you don’t know. But Cool Operator HVAC was great. Fixed my problem on my furnace fast and it didn’t cost me an entire paycheck. They also did a cleaning and it was way cheaper that the other flyers I recieve in the mail. He made good suggestions on what I will need to keep an eye on in the future and didn’t push me into buying anything that I didn’t need. Great service and FRIENDLY! Would recommend this company to anyone in the Kane county area.
