Sam and his technician are amazing! They were at our house quickly and fixed our problem fast. He is very friendly and professional and knows what he’s doing. I highly recommend calling Sam before you call anybody else!

Sam arrived promptly on time and was extremely professional throughout. I called to have my drain unclogged and the job ended up being little more involved than he expected. His prices were fair and even though he had to charge me additional amount due to extra work, I thought his prices were reasonable. He also provided several tips and recommendation to maintain improve my plumbing.
Sam and his helper made sure they didn’t leave a mess and thoroughly cleaned everything after the work was done.

Sam was fantastic. I’m glad I called him. I originally called a big name plumber but they were horrible at communicating when they were going to be able to fix my issue. Sam was upfront with how much it was going to cost. I appreciated that. The job ended up being two hours long because of complications with our plumbing but he didn’t uncharge me. Cleaned up awesomely as well. I mean really cleaned up. He was also very personable. You didn’t get the feeling like he wanted to leave right away and leave the job unfinished. Thanks Sam!

Sam is the best! He came on Sunday in an hour, fixed our clogged toilets in 15 minutes and saved our day. Fast, professional, reliable service and reasonable price.

We just moved into our home and both toilets needed to be changed ASAP. Sam came in the next morning and swapped both toilets. As he walked in he smelled a gas leak (which my husband was able to smell the night before but I couldn’t) good thing Sam came in and he changed it right on the spot for us! Great and knowledgable guy, he even answered other questions for us about other things other than our toilet problems. Sam will be our personal plumber for now on since we have a lot of other things that needs to be done, kitchen and bathroom sinks and water heater.

I highly recommend this business. They have been out to our home at least 3 times and all were professional, timely and reasonable in price. Both the owners are on hand and do the job for the quoted price no matter how long it takes.

I found this company and two others in my area, through
, and emailed for a quote. It was a Sunday, so I didn’t think I would get anyone till Monday. Jim called me within 10 min. of my email being sent and then told me he could come out and would be at my house within 30 min. (on a Sunday!) He came out, was very friendly and knowledgeable. We had a leak in our front yard, and was able to do the job the next day for us. His pricing was reasonable, and we paid exactly what was quoted. I highly recommend Smart Rooter, and will definitely call them again if we have plumbing issues in the future, but I hopefully we won’t have to.

Sam Singh, Field Supervosor did a great job for us. He replaced our hot water heater, unpluged our kitchen sink drain, replaced the rusted out pipes under the kitchen sink, replaced the kitchen sink faucet, and replaced a plugged water temp valve in our shower.
It turned out that our last plumber sold us a low quality hot water heater that was too small for the size of our house. This caused the plastic tube inside of it to slowly melt. This melted plastice traveld through the pipes, gradually plugging up our high end shower fixtures and kitchen faucet, causing a loss of water pressure to the point that we could not use the shower. Our kitchen faucet had very low water pressure, and took a very long time to get hot water out of it.
I had no idea that the hot water heater was the root of the problems. I was even investigating haveing our house repiped to improve the water preasure.
Sam examinded our house and explained everything to me very thoroughly, did the work above and saved our high end shower fixtures with only a replacement of a valve. Now we have an excellent shower again, a larger top quality hot water heater that gives us hot water more quickly and with good water pressure.
Sam and his crew were very professional in every way. He is our plumber now.

I called Sam at about 11am because my kitchen sink wasn’t draining properly. He was able to come the same day at 6pm and look at it, which was awesome since my husband had been working on it all morning and couldn’t fix it.
Turns out that there was a clogged pipe under the house that had cracked and was leaking. Sam said he could fix it but needed some parts, so he left and was back in about 30 mins with everything he needed to finish the job! By 8:30 pm I was able to turn on the dishwasher and get the dishes done that had piled up!
Sam and his helper did a great job! They cleaned up and took the clogged section of pipe with them so I didn’t have to deal with getting rid of it! I’m so happy I called them!

Absolutely excellent! Friendly, fast and knowledgeable. Price was very reasonable. Sam has 15 years of experience and it shows. I would recommend him without hesitation.
My water heater had a leak due to some earlier installer using inferior parts. He has excellent attention to detail and very thorough.
Arrived in less than the 30 minutes he said it would take and was done in less than the 45 minutes he estimated it would take. I couldn’t ask for anything more.

A knob broke off for my hot/​cold water filter last night. Water was spilling everywhere and got into the kitchen cabinet and under the kitchen floor. I had to shut the water to the house from the outside. I called several plumbers and they were busy to come out. I asked my father if he knew someone. He referred me to Jim. I called him and without any hesitation, he came right away to help me out. He was able to help to help me diagnose the issue, fix it, and also provided me with running water throughout the whole house and especially the kitchen. Jim was really patient and professional the entire time. I was able to take a shower and get a good night’s rest because of Jim. His prices are definitely fair and reasonable like others have said in their reviews. I would definitely recommend him to anyone that needs help and I will not hesitate to call him next time for any plumbing needs.

Jim is knowledgeable and a hard worker. He’s worked on repairs for 3 other homes close to my friend’s home. The first time i tried to book him, he was busy and we had to find an alternative plumber. We were dissatisfied with the service at the end of the job because it was a mess and I felt ripped off.
Jim’s pricing is fair and he gets the job done right. He’ll quote you the price up front and won’t track dirt in your house: P He cleared the clogged pipes in my home in a timely manner.

Water main broke. He finished the job quickly. Found remedies for the problems. Sam was very helpful explaining to me what happened. He also helped me with the insurance company. I I

5 stars to Jimmy whom saved our from house from starvation. My brother had blue tape over our kitchen sink for 4 straight days. I understand we are in a drought but please! We still need water!!!- why blue tape our sink??? He kept saying– don’t use the sink it’s broken, I’ll fix it and… he never did. No kitchen sink equates to no home cooked meals. So yesterday I was fed up. I then remembered a few days ago when my fiancé and I was down by Costco, I had saw A Smart Rooter van go by and mentioned to my fiancé that it was cute– I like the little green man. I Unilocaled it and boom got a live person right away. Got an appointment 3 hours later and that was history. He made it work; I don’t know how but we now have running water in our sink. He even caulked up the back splash for me– free of charge. I 100% recommend Jimmy since he is kinda cute-​110% recommend him.

I can’t tell you how amazing these guys are! I ended up with an emergency situation on Christmas Eve, rendering my toilet and shower useless! I began calling plumber after plumber, just going down Unilocal,hoping to get ahold of someone, ANYONE! I pretty much knew, I was NOT going to make contact with anyone on Christmas Eve, but I had to try, I had no other options. Maybe I would leave a message, and someone would happen to check their messages, and someone would take pity on me, and decide to come help? Yeah, right! I feel like I called 20 numbers, and was just about to give up in utter defeat, when I called Smart Rooter and someone ANSWERED THE PHONE! I was in so much shock that I almost forgot to speak! Not only did they answer the phone, but they came in less than half an hour, and gave me access to my bathroom again… on CHRISTMAS EVE… in the EVENING!!! Smart Rooter to the rescue! Seriously! I can’t thank you guys enough!

Jim and his partner Sam saved my home from utter destruction. My girlfriend and I went out Thursday night only to return to a leaking water heater that was dripping into the basement floors. We didn’t know what to do but to hold off he leak until the next morning since it was so late.
My friend recommended calling this company to fix our issue since we were panicking and didn’t know what to do! So we called the company and spoke to their representative, Jim. He was very knowledgeable and resourceful and definitely welcoming person to talk to! Within the hour, he arrived along with his partner Sam, who completed the work within a few hours. They gave us a great quote for the job and we definitely recommend using their service for everyone else as well.

Juan, who lives locally in Brentwood, is very friendly. The owner/​partner, Sam, in the Richmond area, is also friendly and helpful. Seems like it’s a new business they’re setting up. He came to provide a free estimate with a pressure-​free attitude. He checked our concerns for a possible leak upstairs. He also provided consultation to our water filter line, water softener, and leaking shower faucets. Overall he was informative. It looks like they can do all sorts of plumbing services.
