World Karate Martial Arts Institute has been located in the city of El Segundo for 16 years, having grown and expanded three times into its current location. The school was originally founded in Venice, California in 1990 by Master Michael Mai the current chief Instructor.

El Segundo, CA
World Karate is fantastic. Their programs for the kids are just serious enough, and helps kids to set and achieve goals through belt promotions. Mike and Cathy are wonderful owners and instructors. I’ve recommended a lot of friends to this studio, several children in El Segundo and surrounding areas attend. They also have adult programming which I have not partaken in, but I do know parents who have, and who in turn loved it.
