Acting Classes for Kids and Teens, ages 11 — 18.

We specialize in acting classes for young performers who are serious about learning in a not-​always-​so-​serious environment. CRAFT uses techniques from the greats of modern acting and applies them to everything from classic theater to television, film and commercial scripts. We have a lot of fun while being dedicated to learning and honing our craft.

But, why take acting classes if you’re not going to be a professional actor? Why not? While you’re studying acting at CRAFT, what you’re also learning is how to connect with people, how to be self aware without being self conscious, how to speak and move easily and truthfully. In today’s world, most professions require some form of public speaking or presentation as part of normal business-​as-​usual. People working in medicine, law, finance, politics, you name it, MUST be able to present themselves and their ideas clearly and with ease. How do you do that? By building a set of skills at a young age that make public speaking and presenting second nature.

Business Owner

CRAFT founder and instructor DAN KLASS has worked as a professional actor for nearly 20 years. He’s appeared on television and in films with Philip Seymour Hoffman, David Duchovny, Matthew Fox, Daniel Dae Kim, Leah Remini, Tess Harper and many others. He’s appeared in commercials for such varied advertisers as Mercedes Benz, Allstate, Sprite, HBO and Chevrolet. You may have seen him recently as «Alex Darigo» in his long running Ances​try​.com commercials.

Dan appeared this season on CBS’ Intelligence with Marg Helgenberger, and is in the upcoming shorts Bad Egg and The Quota with Jenica Bergere and Susan Ruttan. He also appears in an upcoming commercial for Lend​ingTree​.com.
