We are dedicated to changing the image of physical therapy in El Paso by practicing and conveying the true meaning of PT to both our patients and our community. Our ultimate goals are: 1) to equip our patients to live a fulfilling and productive life free from physical hindrances, and 2) to improve the health and well-​being of our community through education and good-​will.

History

Established in 1994.

Our President, Harry Koster, PT, Cert. MDT, opened the first Spine & Rehab Specialists facility in 1994 specializing in the treatment of back and neck pain. Since then we have expanded to two clinics with specializations in a variety of orthopedic concerns, including balance & vestibular problems, sport injuries, aquatic therapy, and concussion management. Harry’s passion has been and is treating patients that have difficult back and neck injuries in order to return them to a healthy and productive lifestyle.

Business Owner

Harry Koster completed his Physical Therapy education at Hogeschool Zeeland School of Physiotherapy in The Netherlands. He is a McKenzie Method Credentialed Therapist (Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy) who is certified in in Injury Prevention, Functional Capacity Evaluation, and is a Certified Clinical Instructor who is currently serving as guest faculty at El Paso Community College Physical Therapist Assistant Program.

Harry served as the Vice Chair of the Greater El Paso District of TPTA from 2006 – 2009. In addition, he has served as the District Chair of the Greater El Paso District, as well as the District Liaison to the Executive Committee of TPTA.
