Stayed one night on my way to San Antonio. Nice clean accommodations. Quiet and relaxing. Breakfast was delicious as always. Residence inn never fails to impress!!!

I always try to find the best things to say about people but in this case there are no words which can positively describe this experience. It’s late and we drove from Houston TX heading back home to the Central Coast, CA. Decided to snag a Hotwire hotel deal for the night which offers super great rates(using them since 2004) Upon arrival the front desk was unmanned. We waited 17 min for the receptionist to show up. When she walked down the hall no explanation or concern was given for her absence. I advised we booked a Hotwire deal and her attitude was as if I kicked her in the back. She was abrupt, didn’t smile, and refused to offer a room with two beds verses a bed and sofa bed. After 40 min of trying to reason with her I finally called Hotwire and the representative there found her so unreasonable that he canceled my reservation out of frustration(he called her and they went back and forth for about 15min trying to convince her she has the power to make the change). Finally once the reservation was canceled we walked across the parking lot to holiday inn where we were welcomed with smiles and laughs(see my review) I DONOT under ANY circumstance recommend this hotel!!!

If you’re in town for a long stay, this is an ideal place as you have a kitchen in your hotel suite/room, living room, separate bedroom, they offer a warm breakfast every morning and dinner three nights out of the week. If your room is not clean to your standards, tell the front desk, they will fix it! This place is good at ensuring you’re as comfortable as possible! Location is ideal to many restaurants, not far from the theater/museum district and the scenic drive. I will be back on my many future trips to El Paso.

Yay for pet friendly! and they only charge the same as a typical guestroom. You can’t beat that!

Typically, any Residence Inn you stay at is basically the same. This place is the same. Not good but more importantly, not bad. Located right off the highway, it offers easy visibility to spot it, but really could easily miss it while driving. A typical service road gets you to it, but don’t miss it cause it’s a long way to the turn about. The hotel itself served its purpose. Friendly staff and quick check-in. I could stay here again.

The rooms in this Residence Inn meet expectations: clean, roomy, and with enough room amenities to be comfortable for weeks on end. One thing that was really obvious to me on both visits was that the customer service at this location is very, very good from the front desk agent to the sales rep + GM that you see at breakfast. Although I stayed at this location twice on a Monday, I wasn’t able to take advantage of the manager’s reception in the evening. This is held from Tuesday-Friday after 4PM, I think. Even though I missed the manager’s reception, the breakfast was sufficient and very palatable. No complaints here, and there was enough food to take with you on a long road trip. The parking outside was good, and the location is just off of I-10(exit 24B?). Also, there is a Wells Fargo, WalGreen’s and Taco Bueno within walking distance. I’ll definitely return to this location. Well worth the $$$.

I had stayed at the Courtyard up the road a bit the last time I had to travel to El Paso for business. This time I decided to try the Residence Inn because I’d be here all week. CONS: I had to wait at the counter for 15 minutes before being checked in because the person was on the phone. The manager in the office did not come out to assist. The breakfast is OK. They do have some fruit options, but they weren’t ripe. Other than that, it’s the yoplait yogurt if you want a healthier option(and that stuff is loaded with chemicals and sweeteners). PROS: This Residence Inn is superior to the Courtyard El Paso Airport, in my opinion. The rooms are clean and well-appointed with all my technology needs. I have outlets anywhere I could need one for charging my laptop and phone. The rooms have been updated recently, I think, because it all looks new and they have the new lamp and TV styles Marriott is going with lately. The kitchen is fine, clean, and has what I need for a business trip. The shower pressure is adequate, and the water gets good and hot if you like that sort of thing. TV channels are sufficient for what I need. I’ll tell you what I love about this particular room(212): it is not only near the elevator, but it’s on the side of the property near the back — the way the terrain is here, I have utter privacy and can open my windows and leave the curtains open without worrying about anything or anyone peaking in! Staff is friendly. All in all, I am pleased with this hotel and will stay here in the future for business trips in the area. NOTE: I am giving this a ‘pricey’ rating, but it could be just the weekday rate for business travelers. I hear the weekend prices are much more reasonable.

Booked my son a room here using my hard fought for Marriott pts. Gave him a handicap room that made the shower impossible and had an air conditioning unit outside the window that kept him awake all night. Won’t return points because my son was too embarrassed to complain and to tell me I booked a DUMP!

Residence Inn has become my home away from home. I definitely find the room rate and value to be pretty consistent. The staff is very friendly and the location is great.

Nice. But $ 100 charge if you bring a pet. That is absurd. I could see something like $ 20/day upcharge but a flat fee of $ 100 is absurd.

Great rate and great front desk service. The morning breakfast was perfect for us on the run. The rooms are still a little dated(tube T.V.s, older furniture, etc.) but the hospitality makes up for it.

I’ve been here for three days and I’ll be here for another ten days or so. My stay here has been great so far. Comfortable beds and a pleasant front staff. I left my key in my room twice because I’m the Simple Jack of hotel room keys and they were cool with it. Even joked around a bit because I’m an idiot. The thing I like best is that they’re about the price of a regular hotel room, but have a full kitchen with fridge, stove top(sometimes an oven), dishwasher, and sink, etc. Free wireless internet, free decent hot breakfast, and socials in the evenings with free dumpy Bud Light!
