Business Owner
Tatum was born in Missisipi and moved several times before graduating high school very young. She then travelled internationally as a professional show-jumper until attending Harvard in the early 1990’s. She designed her own major, for an honors degree in neuroscience, which included a masters level thesis on ‘Dylexia and the Brain’ for which she received much scholarly recognition. As a dyslexic herself, Tatum has a gift and passion for helping students of various disabilities and even volunteers regularly to give ‘tolerance speeches’ to young, impressionable first graders. Tatum is happily married and lives on the coast of northern Califirnia where she runs a successful tutoring business.
