Reached out to SA Fresh Environment to install insulation in our crawl space because the house was increasingly cold.
David is awesome he came out personally and walked through the entire process with us. Once the work started the crew; Daniel and Terry kept my husband in the loop on the progress of the job.
During the project a leak was found. David and the crew informed us immediately. They took the time to show us pictures and discussed where the leak originated and next steps to resolve.
On the last day Daniel and David took the time to do a walk through and followed on how the house temperature in the house was doing. The house is now comfortable and I would recommend and will definitely use them again.

This review is for Terry’s professionalism and thoroughness when he came to my house to provide a estimate for an installation of a french drain system in my yard. Last year my crawlspace was flooded with water from the heavy rains so I needed to install a french drain system before the heavy rains came this year. Terry was on-​time and was 1 of 2 contractors (out of many that provided estimates) that actually went down to the crawl space to verify potential problem areas. Although I didn’t go with his company, his estimate was competitive.

We’ve recently bought a house, knowing that it has water problems under it. During the negotiations of the purchase, we called a few companies to get bids for a solution. SA Fresh Environment’s bid was the most comprehensive, detailed and «making sense» out of the 3 we got, while still being very reasonably priced (one of the other bids was over 20k! More than double of what SA Fresh quoted me). David and Terry were extremely knowledgable about our situation and what should be done, and answered patiently all of the questions we’ve had during the work (even when I was bugging them at 9pm!). Their initial assessment (that a French drain is needed with a sump pump on a separate area, it’s a big house, approx 3000sqft) was on point, and the water stopped flowing-​in even before they fully completed the project. Really great company to work with– always available to communicate with, addressing instantly any issue that comes up, and the service and products are up to the highest standards. Fixing issues like I had is an investment, and I’m very happy with my decision to invest in SA Fresh Environment.

Very happy with the service and quality of work. Turns out We had a leaking pipe under the kitchen’s sink for a long time. We found out about it only when black mold started growing on the cabinets. I chose these guys to do the work based on the Unilocal reviews and the fact that they were able to do the complete service from start to finish– get rid of the mold and restore everything back together. Terry was very helpful in getting us through this project, from the initial estimate to the final walk-​through. They had to cut out part of the cabinets and granite top, and remove about 20 sqft of the hardwood floor, where the mold grew under. The guys took extreme care, making sure everything was kept clean and with minimal affect as possible on our other house needs. They did a great job restoring and matching the kitchen back together after they were done removing all mold. They also took care of all the plumbing, wiring, etc. so it was a great relief to know that we don’t need to deal with all this hassle and find different professionals to each thing. Highly recommend this business!

I had an appointment from 8 – 10 to have my air ducts cleaned and furnace inspected. The team showed up almost two hours late just before 10. I alerted them that I did not know where the intake filter was and that it would need to be replaced on the phone prior to the appointment. Once they arrived I pointed out where all the vents were. The foreman said he would inspect from the attic and figure it out. They said they would do a full inspection of the ducts and the furnace. Turns out, there wasn’t a filter installed. They couldn’t get one but told me to go buy one. As they were packing up, I went through the house to turn off lights, etc and noticed they hadn’t gone into one of the bedrooms. They missed a vent. The two workers — who were very apologetic and courteous — went back and cleaned the missing vent.
The two stars are for the late arrival and the lack of any report or follow up on the furnace inspection or condition of my system.

Our house is quite old and has a decent crawlspace underneath to get around. We still have our original hardwood floors in top notch shape and I noticed that there were gaps in the floor and it was quite cold in some rooms causing my wife to crank up the heat. After some research about proper crawlspace insulation and how to avoid mold to rise and trap proper temperature within the house, there is this concept of a vapor barrier. Terry came over and we talked about it and he was extremely helpful to answer all of my questions. Took a couple of days to do the installation, but I am already experiencing the benefits. Very pleased. These guys have a lot of important solutions around air restoration and insulation. Highly recommended.

We had some wet insulation in our crawl space and some moisture in the bathroom wall from an old leak. A mold inspector recommended we have someone treat those areas so I called SA Fresh Environment for an estimate. Terry came out and was a true professional. It was clear he was very knowledgeable and knew what needed to be done to take care of our issues. Terry and his crew were quick to schedule the work, were great at being accessible for communicating, and did an overall great job within the scheduled time — even cleaning up afterwards and making things look as good as new! The bathroom smells fresher and the moisture barrier they installed in my crawl space should help to prevent future mold/​moisture issues.
If I have any mold or moisture issues in the future, (which I sure hope I don’t!), I will be sure to call SA Fresh Environment first.

These guys are great! They really care about their customers. I called three companies and I received three, very similar, quotes for some duct, crawl space and insulation work but right off the bat I could tell that these guys knew what they were doing and cared too. They really stood out. As they were cleaning the attic they found evidence of rats in our attic and fixed that problem too. They were fast, professional and thorough. They did a fantastic job! Fast forward 6 months. I hear rats in the crawl space. I call up David and they get right on it! Problem solved.

We had critters in the attic and 1976 blown in insulation. In my view, SA was more thorough than Clark and provided more service (cleaned the heater and dryer vents). They removed the old insulation plugged rodent access points, installed bat insulation and were neat and timely. The vacuum they use to remove old insulation is gas powered and, depending where they need access, the entry point of the hose should be sealed with plastic and tape. Their proposal was competitive, they showed up on time, they called prior to arriving. It;‘s great to work with folks like this.

After doing some research in a completely «out of my zone» field, I found these guys that seems reasonably priced for my crawl space problem (water was coming in somehow). they figured out the source of the problem quickly and installed a French drain (I swear that’s how they called it…). They also took care of the mold that had been built up. they were very professional regarding every issue that came up during the process, did a very nice clean job and pleasantly answer all of my ignorant questions. Hopefully I wont need their service again (touch wood!) but in case i’l have something in the future I will definitely hire them again!

I would highly recommend this business. Our attic was a real mess of old insulation and debris from getting our roof replaced. Everyone was polite and communicative. They went to great lengths to minimize the mess while the work was being done and they cleaned everything perfectly when the job was done.
Our house is warmer and I have the peace of mind that there is a clean and tidy attic upstairs.

No way. We called because when we removed a washing machine from our home’s little laundry closet, there was some mold on the linoleum beneath it. «David» (the boss) came in three days later and scanned the walls including a fourth adjoining wall, saying «Mold! Mold! Mold! Mold!» and wrote up a $ 1,800 estimate based on tearing out four walls and treating them for the mold. PLUS, he said, if we wanted the walls repaired and linoleum replaced and the walls painted again, that would be another $ 500. What are we gonna do, right? We don’t want to live with mold. We never hear from «David» again, but a young man shows up and cuts out a foot of drywall from the bottom of three walls — guess what? «No mold,» they tell us. So they set up a couple of drying machines (fans) in the laundry closet. AND David (who only communicated second hand through the kid doing the actual work) tells the young guy to tell us if we want the three walls repaired it it will be $ 900. We tell the guy to tell David, no you said $ 500 for four walls, so for three walls we’re not paying $ 900. David, generously, says «Okay, $ 750.» Unbelievable. It would take the young guy who does the work maybe two or three hours to do the work, so figure David gets paid over $ 200 an hour (I presume the kid gets maybe 10 or 15% of that) — bringing the total to almost $ 3,000 for this whole experience. We figure his estimate and paid him only for what was done and he reminds us (still through the worker) that the fine print in the contract says we can’t sue him. And now we’re looking for a handyman to fix the walls. Lesson learned: Mold is bad. SA Fresh Environment is worse. NOTE: David called me after this review appeared and loudly insisted that he said the wall repair would be «around» $ 500 and $ 900 IS «around» $ 500. I disagree.

They say free estimates. I called him to give an estimate for Air duct cleaning. He said that my furnace should be serviced. He gave a separate estimate for furnace servicing and air duct cleaning. Which was much higher than i got from a local guy.

This guys are amazing !!! i had for long time rats in my attic, had a few bids telling me i have to remove the insulation, do a rodent proofing and disinfecting my attic i call this guys. they been in my house within a hour since the moment i call them, they were very professional from the estimate to the end of the job i choose them because of there nice attitude, great price and not trying to sell me stuff i don’t need !! they were very respectful to me and my house and they came on time. My attic looks like brand new, they finish it all removing cleaning and installing the new Eco riendly insulation in one day. use this guys!!! mark my word you wont regret !

Today I house-​sat as my sister’s attic was being cleaned & sealed from further incursions by squirrels. She had previously used SA Fresh Environment two times to help with rodent problems and to purify her air duct system. They have also installed insulation in the attic after cleaning and purifying the space and sealing entry points. We have found them to be reliable, kind & very easy to work with. They came out today on very short notice & went beyond their responsibility to work on this continuing problem. They work very hard and do a thorough job — they don’t leave anything undone. They treat their customers with respect and kindness and we highly recommend that you contact them for your insulation & air duct cleaning needs.

After suffering from a rat infestation in our attic, I decided it was time to solve the problem. I checked Unilocal and was impressed with the positive reviews of Fresh Environment. I called and was immediately in contact with David the owner. We made an appointment for an estimate the same day. He was prompt and through in his inspection. He reviewed the scope of the problem and we agreed on cleaning and disinfection of the attic, sealing to prevent rats from returning, removal of attic and duct insulation and replacement of same. He included a discount for Unilocal without prompting.
I called a competitor to get an estimate for comparison but the wait time for someone to come out was too long. So, I checked with a couple of friends in the construction trades and they confirmed that the cost was reasonable for the amount of work to be done. I also checked with a reference that David provided.
The work was scheduled and completed the following week. David and his crew were outstanding in the professional manner in which they handled a difficult project. They were courteous, considerate and efficient. David was extraordinary in keeping us informed about the status and timing of the work.
David usually worked with the two others in his crew, who were obviously very experienced. Whenever David was called away, they continued to work as effectively as when he was there. I told them when they finished that I hoped to work with them again, just not on a rat infestation.
I think two words clearly describe my impression of David and his two associates — conscientious and effective. I recommend them without reservation.

A year ago we had a small leak from the roof that went all the way down to our basement. We fixed the leak but didn’t dry it properly, Recently I found gross mold has started to grow on the roof to the walls of living room and basement.. We called SA fresh environment. David showed up on time and spent more than an hour evaluating the damages. He was very polite, knowledgeable and gave us an estimate to remove the mold on the spot. After we discussed options, he set us up to start the job in 2 days. The mold removal process took 5 days, during which they were very professional. They covered all the areas they worked on with floor protectors. They always came on time and left at 5 sharp. They took time to explain to me what they were doing. They recommend us to do a mold air test with a different company to make sure no mold was left after they finished the job. We conducted the test and the results were perfect. We are really glad that we choose them to do this project. We also asked them to clean our ducts to make sure we didn’t have any mold there. If we ever have mold again, i will definitely call them.

I called to set an appointment with SA Fresh Environment because I saw rodent looking like feces in different parts of the house. I suspected that we had a mice problem.
A service person arrived for inspection, he was very kind and professional, and soon enough he found that we are nesting a home for rats. They lived in our attic and damaged our insulation. SA Fresh ended up cleaning the entire attic, installing new insulation, and did some preventative work like sealing the attic to keep other rodents away.
To our luck, while the service people cleaned the attic, they also discovered that we have a mold problem that we were not aware of. They quickly took care of that as well. When I heard about the mold problem I was not surprised at all, because I was suffering from chronic nasal congestion, and a weakened immune system for sometime now.
To summarize, SA Fresh Environment gave me a fast, high quality, and professional service. I felt like they knew what they were doing and they were very kind and helpful.
