SD Hot Limos And Party Bus

Great experience, the bus was amazing. I had 60 people on my bus and we were all so comfortable and there was plenty of space. Thanks to Michael for making it awesome

We used this company for my boyfriend’s 30^th birthday brewery tour and would highly recommend them. I initially spoke to Michael to book the limo and he was able to give me a really great price compared to the other companies in San Diego. We had a lot of changes during the process (requesting larger bus, change in route) and this was never a problem. On the day of the event, the driver arrived promptly and was very friendly. We weren’t sure what breweries we wanted to go to and he was very flexible and provided great suggestions. Also the bus is beautiful and has high end features!
The only issue we ran into was miscommunication with the driver regarding gratuity but after speaking to Michael after the event it was resolved. We also lost a phone on the bus that was not able to be recovered. Despite this, we will continue to book with them!

Excellent service. Our driver was friendly and prompt, the limo bus was very clean and it had all the amenities we needed for a wine tasting trip. Someone in our group left an item on the bus and shortly after the driver returned with the lost item. Would definitely recommend and for sure use this company again when we need a limo.

I was so impressed by the entire process, starting with making my reservations with Mike, who was polite and professional through the whole process, and very organized.
I planned a Temecula wine tasting with some close friends for my birthday, the «High Roller» Limo bus pulled up to pick us up and it was beyond beautiful! Exactly as the pictures had shown with all the features inside the bus to make our event memorable. Our driver Odaae was so professional and polite from the moment I met with him, he went out of his way to ensure all my expectations were met. I appreciated his patience, advice with the top wineries, and time management skills.
My boyfriend and I are already talking about our next event and using Diego Limo bus to transport our family and friends in style! This company knows how to take care of it customers, whether you are a first time client or a long time client!

Overall everything was great especially the driver Levarris. The TV’s didn’t work and I was told that gratuity was included in the total price when I booked the bus, but was then told during the event that it wasn’t included so I had to shell out more money which would have gone towards the beer I bought for the bus and I didn’t want to have my guests shell out more… other than those 2 items everything else was great.

Called to book limo bus for 4 little girls and 4 adults to Taylor Swift concert last weekend. Mike was SO helpful in putting the night together seamlessly as we had 3 different stops. He went out of his way to make sure we got the best price too! Our drivers were so nice and engaging. Our last driver of the evening, Levarris, was amazing! All our cell phones died during the concert and we had no way of reaching him to meet for our ride home — in the sea of 45,000 people — he found us!!! Totally saved the day! THANKS Levarris! Limo buses were clean, easy to play music and supplied with water and cups. We will definitely use this company again!

I had the displeasure of meeting Michael at Hot Limos in El Cajon. I came in on August 18^th to see what was available to rent, and I liked the party bus he showed. It was brand new and overall impressive, but I held off in putting a deposit and securing the party bus because i wanted to look at other companies to compare pricing. After a full day of visiting other companies and seeing what was out there, I decided that I wanted to settle with Hot Limos.
So today, August 20^th, I call Michael at 4:00 p.m. to ask if the party bus I was interested in renting was still available for the day I wanted. He said yes, provided deposit information and told me to come over. Keep in mind that I’m in National City and he is located in El Cajon, a 20 – 25 minute drive. I take about 35 minutes due to traffic. I arrive and walk into his office to give the deposit and sign the contract. As I’m ready to give the deposit and secure the date, he nonchalantly tells me that the dates are booked and that I should have given him the deposit the first day I went to view the party bus.
I would have been fine with knowing that the party bus was booked for the day I wanted, no problem. But it was the fact that he was inconsiderate enough to have me drive all the way to El Cajon, only to tell me that I should have booked the party bus the day I had first seen it, that made me write about this bad experience. As someone working for a business, he should have had the common decency to check the party bus bookings and see if my date was open. As a potential customer, this was a HUGE red flag for me. He was unprofessional, inconsiderate and rude; I would not recommend Hot Limos and Party Bus to anyone.
But with all of this being said, I will give the company the benefit of the doubt for anyone interested in doing business with them. Maybe they do offer good service when a date and contract are completed, and maybe the company’s business transactions go smoothly – but this wasn’t the case for me, and according to some of the other comments left for this company, neither have many.
To whomever owns the company:
Replace Michael with someone who is passionate about his/​her job, he was on his phone texting the whole time when explaining the situation, showing no consideration or care at all towards me, a potential customer, who spent a decent amount of time and gas to arrive at the shop. He says he doesn’t like being told how to do his job. Well, buddy. Do it right and you want have to be told anything.

This review is for Diego Party Bus, which is basically the same company. We had an unusual request. Twelve of us rode our bikes from Solana Beach and then up to the top of Palomar Mountain. By the time we descended we were dead-​tired, so we needed a bus to drive us back from Harrah’s Rincon. (Someone else took back the bikes in a separate van). In making my choice on who to use, I talked to 6 different companies, and Diego Party Bus was very accommodating and responsive. AND they offered us the best deal (well, after a little negotiation, but they were at least willing to be flexible unlike most of the other companies who wouldn’t budge on the price). We loved our driver, who was just an all-​around good guy, and very funny.
All I can guess about all the negative Unilocal reviews, is that they’ve either cleaned up their act majorly, or their competition is putting some fake reviews up on the site. Every time I called and left a message, someone called back within 5 minutes. None of the other companies were so responsive.

Celebrated a birthday and had a wonderful time. If you are looking for a luxury and reliable transportation service, they are highly recommended!

We did a 40^th birthday brewery tour this past weekend and all in all everyone had a blast. I had given my cc upon reserving, so I thought I would only need cash for tip; however, upon loading the bus, I was made aware it was cash in full that was needed. Thankfully, we had some good people in the group that gave extra. The driver showed up on time and was very pleasant. The bus was super fun and very clean. It was a great day had by all! I would definitely use them again… just know you need cash up front.

I made the reservation online for 35 people for $ 500 a month in advanced and everything seemed good to go.
A week before the day of the party we found out the bar we wanted the bus to take us to was closed. My boyfriend called the company asking to see if they could get us into another spot — Monica was accommodating at first but then things got terrible:
He spoke to her on Monday and on Thursday (the day before the party), she STILL had not answered or returned any call.
She sent him invoices for another company called «Diego Party Bus» also for 35 people and $ 500. On the day of the party, my boyfriend started receiving calls from a driver named James from «Fandango Party Buses» saying he was driving our 24 Person bus. He said he got our number from Monica and that he did not have a party bus big enough for our 35 person party — despite our reservations!
We called the number on the Diego Party Bus invoice and the guy there said Monica works for both SD Hot Limos and Diego Party Bus and that Fandango was one of their affiliates (???). Monica messed up so bad she completely switched up/​cancelled our initial reservation. Meanwhile, she is nowhere to be found, ignoring our calls.
After a ton of grief (they said we didn’t actually have a reservation and that the invoice meant nothing) The Diego Party Bus company managed to send out the smaller bus which ended up being fine — but we still had to pay $ 500 despite the smaller bus.
Very unprofessional business, Monica was bad at returning our calls and messed up the whole reservation so that we were stressed down to the last minute. I don’t completely blame her because Andrew left the country and I guess left the whole business in her hands, which is also unprofessional.
Never ever recommending this business.

Horrible company!!! My friends and I had the worst experience!!! Andrew was our driver, and couldn’t have been more rude. He acted like he was doing us a favor by taking our money and driving us around. Never using them again!

I have not used the services of the bus company. But I do know facts about Drew, yes he does have two dogs but they are small and friendly. As for any issues what stuff leaking or any other concerns I know for a fact that Drew is in Home Depot all his time buying stuff to fix and clean the bus mainly because I work there and see him there frequently. As the sayings go truth and beauty among other things are all in the eye of the beholder. And maybe he is a little cocky but if you knew him you’d see him differently :)

The process of reserving was easy, though the site did not recognize the actual address I needed for pick up (on base). Upon contacting Drew via e-​mail he confirmed they are good to go on base and then we again spoke about this closer to the day. When the driver arrived, he has issues at the front gate (several of our guests did too!) but the driver refused to leave the parking lot after filling up the party bus until he could confirm payment! I had given my CC information on their form, and was already charged $ 100 hold fee. What the hell?!? Being the bride, my family did the best they could to resolve the issues, but talk about a pain in the a$*!
Once we got on the bus, we saw a leak in the ceiling that was dripping on our guests and Andrew drove us around like we were running from the police! My brother, who has been assigned to ships during his military career, even started to get motion sick.
I give 2 stars becuase Drew was easy to contact and pleasant to deal with. He also was understanding of my failure to give my debit card company a heads up of the high dollar purchases that would be ran that day (reception, etc…) and granted 2 days for me to get it straightened out.

This is the first time I have ever written a review for a business on the exact same day I made contact with them… thinking in my head the entire time «holy crap, i cant wait to get off the phone with this stoned idiot so i can write a Unilocal review»
Full Disclosure: I HAVE NOT NOR WILL I EVER USE SD HOT LIMOS SERVICES.
Just before I started this review, i scanned some of the previous reviews from people just to see if anyone had a similar experience to me. and what do you know, OF COURSE THEY HAD!
So, a couple of weeks ago I scoured SD HOT LIMOS website to see if they had what I wanted to book for my upcoming wedding. According to their website, they had EVERYTHING i wanted and more. with great listed prices.
So I did as their website suggests and sent an email inquiry (it was long and very detailed in what I was requiring, as I am looking for SEVERAL limos, for 3 different days during our wedding week.)
Fast Forward 8 days later. to TODAY. I hadnt heard back from the company at all, so i thought Im just going to call them. maybe something went wrong and they didnt receive it.
The guy answers the phone ‘hello’ and then silence.
Who answers a business that way?
I explained my name & that I had written a detailed email regarding an (in my eyes) big and expensive order but had not heard back from anyone in over a week.
I swear to you. this was his response.
” Yeah, Im not really doing the whole email thing… Im doing the phone thing.“
WHAT. THE. EFF. kind of answer is that? If this guy wasnt higher than rocket man, I feel even more sorry for him.
I proceeded to ask, then WHY do you have an email inquiry option on your website? I obviously received NO answer back. And everything I did receive was with a bunch of UMMs and UHHHs and the slowest answers you could possibly imagine, I was shocked.
So we started discussing what I needed which is a wine tour bus, a wedding day bus, and 2 two standard escalade/​hummer limos or stretch limos also for the wedding, All things I saw on their website with prices and photos and videos and all that other crap that is now rendered worthless.
When Justin (if thats his real name) started quoting me prices, he legit sounded like he was making them up as he went along. Then when i received prices, they were NOWHERE near what is listed on their website, and I wasnt asking for upgrades or anything special to increase my price.
When i asked about a standard stretch limo or escalade limo for just a pick up and drop off on our wedding day for the groomsmen to the church and church only… he quoted me at $ 475! When he just quoted me $ 900 for a Huge limo BUS for 7 hours. How does this make sense. for a pick up and drop off?!! HE also stated it would have to be a bus for the pick up and drop off as well because they dont HAVE stretch limos or escalades or Hummers or ANYTHING. all they have are buses.
And the quote for the bus was completely made up. It is nothing close to the prices they have listed on their website for wine tours or anything.
At this point his slow, stuck up, and idiotic answers to anything i asked, in the most unprofessional way imaginable irritated me to the point that I knew i didn’t want to use this company either way and I just wanted off the phone. So i said my thank yous for the information and hung up.
After I hung up. I was still super annoyed and confused, how was this person and his responses affiliated with such a beautiful well put together website offering so much. So I went back to the website just to make sure I hadn’t imagined anything. and DUH, I hadn’t.
Their FLEET section of the site… the first picture is a HUMMER LIMO! and there are stretch limos and Escalade SUVS and small buses and huge ones and I was now even MORE annoyed. Did i call the wrong number last time? Was this guy a scam?
So I said, EFF IT! I’m going into bridezilla mode and calling back just to clarify for my own peace of mind, that I wasnt crazy.
Justin answers again, ‘hello.”
” yeah hi, I just spoke with you less than two minutes ago… could you just please clarify for me. so you dont have anything in your fleet other than buses?”
«Right, We have a 45 passenger bus. and 18 passenger bus. etc»
«but you dont have any stretch limos or anything like that»
«no, we NEVER have.»
So i politely responded «then why do you have them listed on your website with photos and videos, etc»
but what I wanted to say was,
«MOTHER EFFER THEN WHY THE HELL DO YOU HAVE IT LISTED ON YOUR WEBSITE WITH PHOTOS AND VIDEOS, ETC»
and WHY do you have an email option if you arent «doing the email thing right now»
I also noticed on there you have the option to book with them directly and immediately through their website without having to call or speak to anyone, just list what you want, enter your credit card info, and youre set.
I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND DOING THIS! THIS COMPANY SEEMS INCREDIBLY SHADY.

Was in san diego last weekend and me and my girlfriends rented a limo for a bachelorette party. Our driver was awesome! We had so much fun! The limos are super nice and Ive never seen anything like them before. Very creative and clean. Definitely perfect for those nights out with the girls! Takes a lot of hassle out of cabs and getting around with a large group. I will definitely use their services again when I’m in SD!

Tried to book this company… right off the bat the cocky person who answered the phone, Andrew, was just unprofessional. He seemed confident with our group not finding a better company. Then after we were going to book, he tells me they only accept CASH! What kind of company does not accept Credit Card? Gave some crap reason as to why they didn’t accept credit cards. Decided to find a better company, with more professional employees who are willing to accommodate paying customers!!! WILL NEVER RECOMMEND OR USE THIS COMPANY!

Bus was not re-​done like promised with new interior. The A/​C didn’t work!!! Ice and Water were worked into the contract… they were not present on the bus. Looked like the bus from the movie Major League when it pulled up. Nothing like the pictures on the site. Some of the seating was not secured down and moved as did the ice chest area… the top came off and was sliding. The ceiling was ghetto in a few areas. They only take CASH as a payment (other than the deposit), so be prepared for that little surprise.
A half-​assed apology does not cut it when our company was contracted out for a 40^th bday party and we had 26 people all with the same expectations for the vehicle that we promoted off our site for them. Owner was a bit cocky and not friendly at first nor really helpful to put our cooler under the bus. That is YOUR job and YOUR company. All was said and done and the owner offered 20% off next tour, not that tour. No thanks. Too many other great companies to partner with. We are doing 4+ brewery tours a month and this is not a partnership I will be working with in the future. Big Woody Limo bus company is awesome and we are happy to partner with them when possible. That weekend there bus wasn’t available however.
Maybe we had an off-​day, but the other reviews do not reflect our experience whatsoever.

Wow… first of all any one that knows me knows I am very organized hello I started planning in Septmeber for this event. I only had one conversation with you on the phone 1.
I read the whole damn contract. Which is why I asked you to leave out any glassware. Saying I am drunk what the whole time planning this event…
How is the bus I wanted, reserved and paid a deposit for all of a sudden booked for the same exact date that was accepted more than a month before?
This whole thing could have been avoided when you received my email saying Hi Andrew we will be going on a Brewery tour Nov 10 on the Bliss Bus 2. Maybe then you could have mentioned Hey lady thats not the bus youre getting… its not available. Never not once was I told if a bigger bus becomes available I will get it. I thought from day one the bus I asked for and reserved was the bus I was getting it had nothing to do with the amount of people I was told not to go over 35 and I didnt.
Taking accountability thats all Im saying… and I would not have even written a review if you would have done just that.
