Motoworld of El Cajon

Biggest group of morons you could imagine they should and will likely be shut down soon they lied to me about my credit scores said they were about 690 when i am well in the 700s to try to offer a higher rate… legally they have to send a copy of your credit scores because of the truth in lending act mine was 733 my wife was 753 the reason they did this was to offer a higher interest rate then lower it to offer finance products which is illegal as well you can not swap rate for product… seeing how i just closed on a new house for about 700k i thought my scores had dropped… this subject was done i already spoke to their gm now that i know they were lying about that as well i am truly pissed off and brought it back up… horrible business guys you should know better…

Husband is not at all happy with motoworld. They’ve had our rzr 1000 for warranty issues now for a couple of weeks. When he called today to find out status of the recall, he was told it would be another month before they could complete the recall. How are they completing other recalls before they complete the ones that are in the shop waiting for the same thing? He let them know his concerns but they cannot accommodate him or give him a sufficient answer as to why his repairs get pushed back.

Just recently purchased a 2016 Yamaha YZ250f for my son, and the Motoworld experience was awesome. Kevin and the sales team were super friendly and very accommodating: It was a rider to rider experience.
This is our first new bike purchase from Motoworld, but certainly not our first trip in the door. My son and I have been shopping at Motoworld past few years for all our other motocross needs.
We are «Raving Fans» of Courtney and the apparel team, and Eddie & Scott and parts team.
Courtney always greeting us with a smile, and keeping us suited-​up from Helmet to Boots.
Scott and Eddie always providing the right parts solution, and helped me out tremendously throughout the mini 2-​stroke days.
Ever since we had been sizing up our transition to a new 250cc machine, our preference from the beginning was to keep our loyalty with Motoworld.
Loyalty formed through outstanding customer care shown by Motoworld staff personnel such as Courtney, Scott, Eddie and others on the team.
Motoworld is a top notch bike shop with great customer service from front register, Apparel, Parts, Sales and Service. Thank you everyone!

Finally went back for my «break in» service appointment. Great service yet again, they even clean it afterwards!

Bought a new Yamaha FZ-​07 here a month or so ago. My salesman Trent was awesome. Super helpful, personable, funny and knowledgeable. The dealership has a great selection of bikes but their gear selection is on the weak side. I decided to cancel my extended warranty and It took a few phone calls and a few weeks but they finally got all my money back to me and I was pretty happy about that. All dealers suck but as far as dealers go these guys are pretty good.
If your going to buy a bike know that they are going to try to hit you with massive amounts of bogus fees like shipping and handling and building the bike and all sorts of crap. This is all totally bogus to make a tall first offer. You CAN get out the door at MSRP no matter what kind of crap they try to tell you. If they don’t go for it walk out… There is plenty of competition in San Diego and they will definitely call you back.

I’ve been very impressed with the customer service here at the parts department. My best friend and I bought two helmets with Bluetooth capabilities we bought the bike for a long trip you have planned to do Baja California. The first 2 days the helmets were great but then we had some problems on our trip. We came back both Courtney and the other girl at the service counter did a phenomenal job adjusting our speakers & microphone and getting them back to work without any problems or hesitations. And week later right speaker went out on my helmet came back to the store she immediately put new speakers in there for me and got me on my way. Accessories department at motor world of El Cajon is amazing very impressed thank you Courtney.

Best stocked shop around with knowledgeable staff. The owners are people who know their business, customers & products.
Buying a new bike… they are there to help get the right match-​not just make a sale/​get you out the door.
LOTS of gear to choose from. My daughter is in heaven when she hears I’m making a MW run — it’s her idea of going to «the mall» & shopping for clothes/​gear. She’s a great rider but likes to coordinate her safety gear & her outer wear & she can easily do that here.
Like the fact that you can stop by & you’re welcomed like an old friend. All around a fun place to just drop in & browse even if you don’t need anything.
Stop in to check it out but you might want to bring a trailer too.

From the moment you pull up to this massive off-​road/​motorcycle super store your mind is blown away. This place is huge! Be prepared to take at least 10 minutes to look at all the latest off road vehicles and road legal vehicles outside the main entrance, when you ready to go inside make sure to check out their specials posted on the chalk board as they run some pretty good deals. Don’t worry about feeling that awkward cold silence of no hey welcome in (other shops give me the cold shoulder) the girl up front is ready to welcome you before you even think about being welcomed to the store, and they always smile (a smile is worth a lot of appreciation). If you didn’t get greeted by the counter girls, your definitely going to be greeted by a salesman or even Tory (she’s awesome and knows her dirt bikes). If you don’t get greeted by a sales person take the time to browse the wide selection of bikes they have to offer as you’ll find yourself here for hours browsing… A year ago I stumbled onto Kyle Pulley he’s a sales man for Motoworld and he rides, he walked me and my family through browsing between street and dirt for the hubby, we were unsure of which terrain he wanted and the price differences but thankfully we had Kyle. He patiently waited months on end for us to decide, with no pressure or harassing phone calls. In 2015 we pulled the trigger to buy a yz450f I called up Kyle and told him we were ready and he was there to make the deal happen. I of course called around to make sure I was getting the best deal which ended up being a waste of time as I got the best deal I could have ever got, no other bike shop here in San Diego could give me the deal this place gave me. Trevor (he’s the sales manager), and Kelsey (she’s the finance lady) helped Kyle make sure I got the deal I was searching for and although I kept these three 30 – 45 minutes later than they were supposed to be there, they still thanked us for buying from MotoWorld! You couldn’t even get a sense of them wanting to go home if you tried, they were so awesome! So after such a great experience I made a second purchase, this time a pw50 for my 3yo son, again I made this purchase through Kyle. He is truly a great guy he pushed my son through the store on this dirt bike while Bryce couldn’t stop smiling. Once again Kelsey was there to stay late with us signing papers still with a smile on her face, unfortunately Trevor wasn’t there. but Kyle still pulled through. Now to the parts and apparel counters. I can not think of a single girl down at the apparel counter who does not deserve two thumbs up! They are all welcoming, nice and have awesome personalities. Courtney, Solana, and Kirstin (I hope I didn’t forget any of my girls) all greet my son like he’s part of their family making sure he walks out with the stickers he came for and he even gets greeted by his name making him feel super special by the ladies ;) These girls make me feel like we knew each other back in the day ;)
Jon and Eddie at the parts counter make sure you get the parts you need all at the price you can’t beat. Btw Jon, Bryce says hello. If they don’t have it they offer to order it and call you right when it’s in.
Frankie and the guys in service are outstanding! They are friendly, patient, and don’t mind explaining things when you look at them clueless. When I wrecked my truck they offered to store my bike with no questions asked, when would you ever get that offer!
After this long lengthy review all I’m saying is the people who work here and keep this place so awesome are great individuals, this store has the biggest selection of vehicles at the right price, while carrying any and every part you could need, all while stocking the latest and coolest gear and running specials on last years gear/​clothing. Did I mention they even price match online prices!
Don’t waste your time going to the other bike shops here or there go to MotoWorld of El Cajon you’ll be glad you met them and you’ll never have a doubt in your mind about the deal you got.

Just bought a 2016 yz450f. Trent made the whole experience fun, smooth an a pleasure. If your ever looking to buy a bike remember the name trent. He’s the guy to talk to

Took my bike in to get an estimate and was not told there is $ 130.57 fee for providing an estimate. Will never do business with motoworld again. Beware of what they have you sign. My husband said there was no dollar amount on the work order and Ed did not mention anything about a charge.

Give me one more star to put on here so I can make it 6!

The staff is always friendly, the ladies up front (always attractive so major bonus points there guys) always greet me with a smile and say goodnight while exiting
The guy in parts is always super helpful and actually knows what he is talking about
I can’t remember his name, I believe it’s eddie but I’m not sure, he has long hair, glasses, and works in the parts department
Very very helpful every time I go in
I have recommended motoworld several times just because of this one employee
Give him a raise, a pat on the back, maybe bake him some cookies, do something!
He’s a great asset to your team and I’m glad I have a place to go in my hometown where I have confidence I won’t be led in the wrong direction

I stop here for just about anything not exclusive to Harley Davidson (gloves, helmets, oil) and have always found the prices and service to be on par with about any other bike shop. Motoworld sets itself apart with me by location and variety– they have a buttload of accessories here.
Can’t speak for the service dept’s work or the prices on new bikes and quads but they do a very brisk business with them so I’d have to imagine that are competitive.
Nice store. Come in and see them next time you’re in El Cajon!

First of all: I want to give a «Shot Out» to Trent Lopez (Salesman) & Kirsten (Clothing/​Gear Dept). Thank You for ALL your help & making the transition in choosing my new ride/​motorcycle gear a fun journey. This was my 2^nd trip in because I needed time to decide which motorcycle to choose.
My first impression walking in: Friendly attentive young ladies at checkout counter greeted my boyfriend & I which was a plus, so kudos to them.
My boyfriend & I were greeted by this young man named «Trent Lopez» whom I highly recommend as your sales guy. He is very knowledgeable about what suits you & he is not a «pushy make that sale» type of sales man. He has great customer service skills & was very nice to us as if we’ve known him for a long time. It was an easy transition to purchase & negotiate the price of my first motorcycle. Make sure to ask for Trent Lopez! He’s so helpful in MANY ways=)
Thank You to Kirsten in the clothing dept. for your patience & time. Very helpful on my sizes & what to pick as far as safety gear. I just wish they had more colors & clothing for women in general.

This is an update to my review. I worked with Amy and Trent and I got my motorcycle. Got a great price and the bike is awesome, the process went super easy when I showed up on Friday and I was probably there for only about 30 minutes before I was on the bike riding. Trent took the time to run me through the bike and helped me with lowering the seat etc. I am a very happy customer!

I had to update this review due to the frustrations I had with service. All the below parts of the business are still 5-​star, but service has forced me to give an overall 3-​star review.
Service– The service personnel totally screwed me and my business. I run a rental company and had a ski getting repairs. I stressed how urgent it was to get repaired and they promised me a certain date and when I go there to pick it up, they said they tried calling (which I had no voicemail) to let me know they found another issue with it. Then they gave me a new date and I told them how extremely important it was to get it Back that day but they said their watercraft guy went to the hospital today (which I hope he is okay, and I hope it’s not just a lie). I am now at a loss of over $ 900 due to this issue and have to make a lot of phone calls and make a lot of my clients unhappy. I am really frustrated by this issue and hate when such a great company throws me under the bus like they did.
This review is to reflect the following parts of this business, and deserve a 5-​star review:
Sales — I dealt with Kyle & Chewy in sales. I have purchased from every dealership in San Diego and this is by far the best sales experience I have had. They were so laid back and accommodating that I had to actually go back and purchase a month after my initial purchase!
Sales Manager — Such a great guy. He was quick to give me a discount I could not ask for a better sales manager to handle my deal. Usually sales managers are stuck up penny pinchers but not at this dealership.
Finance — after telling the finance girl that I was in a hurry, she cut the finance time in ¼! I was in and out before I knew it.

Trent educated me in some stuff and let me know of things that I didn’t even ask, he showed intrest in my needs, very ethical guy… also the manager trever, another grate guy also very professional. In my point of view 5 star is the least this place should have.

I went to Motoworld with the wife looking for a donation basket for my club’s upcoming benefit ride (Blue Knights Poker Run benefitting the concerns of police widows, orphans and families). I had been looking at getting a commuter bike for work and saw a 2012 Yamaha FZ6R on the sales floor. Only 6000 miles on it. I spoke to sales consultant Mike Bilbrey, and the next thing you know, I’m buying a bike! I used Motoworld in the past for tires and a battery. They were professional, friendly and treat the customer right.
On top of that, not only did they donate a Motoworld Basket for our upcoming charity ride, but also an Indian one. Great motorcycle dealer/​shop!
