History

Established in 1993.

ACC1 went public in 1995 and was sold to Household International in 1997 which subsequently sold to HSBC in 2003. ACC2 was started in 2004 and was sold to CompuCredit in 2007. ACC3 was founded in 2013 by Frank Mercer who was the Executive VP and Cheif Credit Officer for ACC1 and the Founding President/​COO of ACC2.

Frank Mercer is recognized as a sub-​prime auto finance industry innovator and thought leader with over thirty (30) years of automotive finance experience in credit operations, sales management and financial services. Twenty (20) years were at the senior and executive levels of leading financial institutions that included Mellon Financial Services, Imperial Savings Association, Household Auto Finance (HSBC) and ACC Consumer Finance. Frank clearly communicates organization vision and builds highly productive teams. An experienced automotive finance executive with a proven history in auto finance company start-​ups. Strong financial acumen and experience generating and growing revenue while reducing expenses. A team player who is fiercely loyal to his staff and his organization. The natural ability to propel auto finance companies to the next level has been a key to his success.
