A.T. Your Service Cleaning & Janitorial

Really wish I could give these guys negative stars here. I was gifted a groupon for cleaning service (2.5 hrs) & called more than 5 times to set up an appointment with no return call. This is no way to run a business! Since the Groupon was a gift I cannot be refunded or credited for the unusable gift. Major bummer, but not exactly sold on them coming to my home at this point. Seems shady to me.

Wish I could give these guys no stars. I have had my home cleaned before and have noticed right away when I get home that it is clean, its smells clean and it is obvious. When I got home, everything looked the same. I could have wiped things down this way myself for fee. We paid an additional $ 120 for a «deep cleaning» of the kitchen. When I walked into the kitchen I noticed that it was not even swept, the cabinets that were supposed to be deep cleaned were not and they threw the covers on the bed and didn’t make the bed. So, $ 225 later (two people cleaned for 3 hours) I had to call someone else a couple of weeks after and they did do a good job. I told AT your service about the bad experience and even sent pictures of the kitchen floor not even swept. They offered to come by again. Yeah right! Never again.

I had a fantastic experience with this company. I have a one-​bedroom apartment that I keep fairly neat, but they took the time to scrub and organize every last detail! One of them even cleaned everything out of the fridge — even the mold!!! — while the other noticed that my toilet needed to be fixed and did that for me without hesitating. I HIGHLY recommend this cleaning service.

I am in the process right now of cancelling my order with A.T. Your Service Cleaning and Janitorial. I saw their deal for 2.5 hours of house cleaning w/​two cleaners for $ 69 on Groupon and thought I would save my tenants that recently moved out some money when I refunded their deposit. I left a message to schedule an appointment around 2 p.m. today and they called me back a little after 6 p.m. They told me their next available appointment is September 10^th unless I want to uprade my service. Evidentally they do not prioritize their customers that purchase their sevices through Groupon. I told them I would get back to them and decided to cancel their order. It’s too bad for them that they did not meet my expectations because I help manage properties and would have brought them future services.

I purchased a groupon and an additional upgrade to have them clean our windows. They showed up on time, and were a complete pleasure to have working on my home. The house was pretty messy, mostly from the 2 dogs and they did a fabulous job. The house has never looked or smelt this good. They also do carpet cleaning so I think this is next on my list to get from them. I’m all for supporting the local businesses and they run specials and have very reasonable pricing. I can’t say much regarding people who said they were a no show as they were on time and stayed far past the 2.5 hours that the groupon covered. I will absolutely use their services again but they are a small local business so you have to leave a message and wait a day or so before you are able to schedule as a first time customer but it is worth it to wait!

I originally had A.T. Your Service Cleaning & Janitorial over to clean my house via a Groupon gift I received in late 2012. Ana and Troy (the A and T behind «A.T.» in the name) arrived on time, made a great first impression, and most importantly, did a phenomenal job cleaning my home. By the second time, I was hooked, and hired them on as my regular maid service.
Since then, for more than half a year, I’ve had them clean my home every two to three weeks. They continue to do an excellent job taking care of my large home in the two hour stretch for which I pay. They clean several bathrooms, vacuum every room on both floors of the house along with some mopping, clean my messy kitchen, they dust the place including floorboards and doors, and more. Throw in the fact that I have two large and always-​shedding dogs, and I’m still impressed that they can walk out of here 2 hours later, leaving the place spotless and shining. And they’re always cordial, if not downright happy too. They also take direction well; if I tell them to blow off a bathroom because I didn’t use it and to pour that time into the cabinets instead, or ask them to concentrate on dusting because I’ve had the windows open all week, they’re on it.
In the interest of full disclosure, they’re not perfect: they sometimes arrive late, but always call ahead if they’re running behind, and it’s because they service me up in North County which is a hike for them. And they charge for extras like windows, dipping blinds, or overhauling dirty floors. But when I got my tax refund n’ decided to overhaul my decade-​old (and filthy) tile floors, WOW, was it worth it, and for not much more than the price of one cleaning.
Understand: I’m not made of money and I have high standards. If I didn’t think they were good enough, I’d drop them. But they’re far better than «good enough»; they’re genuinely hard working, good at their job, and very dedicated to making their start-​up company a success, and I’m glad to help them do that.
I’m not one to write reviews, and frankly, I was iffy about doing this because A.T. Your Service Cleaning & Janitorial is a secret I like kept, because if they get too popular I may not be able to have them here as often. But it seems there’s some mix-​up going on with another, similar sounding (and conversely terrible) company, and their rating is unfairly dropping based on mistaken identity. So… fine: Ana and Troy and the rest of their company is excellent, and the world deserves to know it. Just… don’t keep ‘em too busy; I plan to keep them working here for years to come.

Bought a livingsocial deal for a «Power Cleaning» package that consists of 3 hours of cleaning for only $ 59 (usually $ 159). When the AYS lady called me to set up the appointment, she informed me that the Power Cleaning package does not include showers. Really? Who «cleans» but doesn’t include showers? Yes, I could have read that myself if I had taken the time to do more research but was too excited at the time. To get my showers cleaned, I had to upgrade to a deluxe package for an additional $ 62. Fine, went ahead and upgraded and scheduled an appointment. They were booked way out for weekends so I scheduled it for a week day knowing I’d have to leave work early. Day of appointment comes and 15 minutes past the appointment time, I send an email confirming someone is still coming (had to send an email because it was after hours and either way, no one EVER answers the phone). I get a response 30 minutes later that while the person was out of the office, he/​she was able to access my account and saw that someone tried emailing me earlier asking if I was available earlier because of an emergency with the maid. I never received an email. The person went further to say that someone would contact me first thing the following day to reschedule. No one contacted me. I sent two follow up emails and called at least 5 times. Nothing. Am now having to dispute the charges with my credit card. DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM– DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME.

We used them to clean our apartment when moving out. Everything looked great and they were very friendly and worked quickly. We got all of our security deposit back too :) it was WELL worth it to spend the money to have someone else clean!

I bought a Living Social deal in April from AYS and the first schedule avail appt was not until May which was OK. When I scheduled the appt I also purchased an upgrade. They were a no show. I called and they are closed on Saturdays and Sundays so there is no one to speak to to find out what is going on. They called and confirmed a date in June and gave me a 50 dollar coupon towards the next cleaning service since they could not refund the Living Socail deal. June 15^th came and went and they were a no show AGAIN! I immediately emailed them asking for a refund due to their unprofessionalism. I recieved an email from them on June 18^th offering me 100 coupon off the next service and a reschedule and apolgies, that their scheduling system was down. I called to complain and you basically get the run around from someone who sounds like they just woke up. They refused to refund the money. I put in a compliaint with Living Social also.
My suggestion is to not purschase any services with AYS, it is not worth the hassle and they are poorly managed if they even exist. This could be a scam for all I know and I just threw my money to some asshole.
I will update if they actually do show up in the mean time but I promise you this is a frustrating process and not worth it.

What cleaning they did do was fine, not great, but ok. The problem I had was that the Groupon said it was for 2.5 hours of cleaning and they were only here for 1.5 hours. When they left I thought, wow that was fast, and then I looked at my phone and saw what time it was. I’m not sure why they would say 2.5 hours if they don’t plan on staying that long. I would understand if they cleaned everything that needed to be cleaned, but that is not the case at all, there are many areas left un-​dusted and uncleaned that another hour would have taken care of no problem.

Honestly, our house was pretty dirty, mostly from our two dogs. My roomies and I can usually take care of it. Which surprised me when the two of them said they’d get to the whole house… they didn’t get everything, but what they did get to looks great! If you get the Groupon and you have a messy place, it’s worth it. I’m not sure about the follow-​up, but the house looks great now!

I purchased a Groupon for two cleanings in September and scheduled them in advance them for late September and early November. Ana & Troy (the Owners) were the ones to clean during our first appointment. Troy showed up about 15 minutes late, which didn’t bother me at the time as they were both very friendly and did a great job cleaning. We discussed setting up monthly cleanings after both of our Groupon cleanings had past.
We did not have our 2^nd cleaning nor have monthly service provided by them as they NO SHOWED and then lacked the courtesy to be flexible to reschedule. Interesting enough is that they scheduled the appointments through Groupon & had it auto send me a reminder. They should consider checking their own schedules appointments in advance as well.
It was extremely difficult to get ahold of them to see why they didn’t show up. I eventually received an email (on a Saturday) stating they would call me on Monday to schedule. I emphasized that I had scheduled the cleaning a week prior to my son’s Birthday party (the next Sunday) and that I need it either at night or the following Saturday. They said that they would work with me to get in scheduled in time.
On Monday, no phone call. On Tuesday, no phone call — so I left a message at the office. On Wednesday, no phone call. On Thursday I received a call from Ana saying their only availability was at Friday at 2:00 pm and that they were booked in the evenings and Saturday. Basically that was my only option (implying ‘Ohh well’), so I declined and received a refund from Groupon.
Honestly, it was a pleasure to have Ana & Troy in our home. But their customer service is a COMPLETE DISASTER. Ana told me on the phone that they had «No Control» over missing my appointment and didn’t apologize. Which I know that wasn’t the case since she emailed me prior to say that they had moved the day of my appointment and, come on, no one moves without some advance planning. I understand that mistakes happen and there can be scheduing conflicts. I have been in customer service 10+ years. But when you make a mistake, you have to take responsibility and at least TRY to make it up to your customer — whether you think they’re a cheap Groupon user or a potential regular client. And it should NEVER take you 5 days to call your customer back that you no showed on. A business will never survive if you don’t have high standards in both your product and your representation of your company.

They were excellent! Carpet cleaning and house cleaning– bought a deal on living social and will definitely be using them again.
