I went bowling with my sister-​in-​law around 10 AM, we had alot of fun but the staff was unfriendly and unwelcomeing. We walked in and got ignored for about 1 – 2 minutes while an older man and a young lady discussed how to do something. Usually when a customer walks up you said hello, be right with you. Well, they need some practice om that. So i ignored the bad hospitality and went to get our shoes on. I couldnt read the directions very well, since its very hard to see up and far, due to poor eyesight and i have just recently lost my glasses, but it was easier to ask then to struggle. I thought it wouldn’t be a problem to ask the front desk for some help. I havent been bowling on about 5 years and i just didnt know how to start the game. Like anyone else, you ask for help. A young girl and an older man were working the front desk. I said i havent been here in a very long time and i dont know how to start the game. The older man (ray) said «you should try reading the directions» i ignored him because i dont need to explain myself to him. The girl told me how and when she was finished he looked at me and laughed and shook his head and walked away. We will never be coming back. Unfortunately, who i work for (easter seals) has an event on mondays for special needs children, and its a shame that he was so rude, i dont feel we are welcome there.

This place has definitely improved inside since it’s been redone.
The bowling is a lot of fun, with plenty of room for a large group to share a lane or two. And, in my opinion, the price is reasonable as bowling alleys go.
I was in here to play pool the other night, and it was great. It was a Friday night, so it was busy but not too packed that we couldn’t get a table. The tables and the overall area itself should be cleaner, but it’s still much nicer than some of the seedy pool halls I’ve been to not far from here.
Their food is mostly so-​so. I do like their pizza, but everything they serve is pretty much frozen junk that’s been reheated.
The bar area is great! I always say it would be a good place to watch a game. Someday I will actually come and do that. For a bowling alley, the beer selection isn’t bad and the prices are a little steep but not out of reach.
Parking is abundant, and I usually go to the back lot where it’s a little less crazy.

Great way to entertain the kids during a rainy Tuesday morning at the shore. Bowling alley was clean and comfortable, and appeared to have lots of recent updates. Staff were kind and courteous, and service was very prompt. Great family experience!

Had a blast bowling an amazing 76 in the first game and 97 in the second game. I came in last in both games but can’t deny the fun I had. Their set up was nice couches instead of hard chairs we got there early so didn’t have any eats. I will say out of the three places I have bowled in recent times they are the nicest. I checked out the menu saw wraps wine and beer what else do a red blood man needs. Once you are done bowling you can hit the billiards room hustle up some beer money. There is the arcade for the kiddies keep them happy when they don’t want to bowl.

Four stars for the bowling, but they lose one for environment. The lanes are in great shape. Definitely the best in its area. However, the atmosphere is horrible. They let all kinds of shady people hang out. They aren’t bowling and they aren’t playing pool. They’re just loitering loudly and fighting. I also don’t appreciate being charged premium process for garbage food. The pro shop is good and very nice people run it.

Went on a Monday and it was pretty empty, however they put everyone right next to each other. Right after we finished our games, there were people right behind us trying to take over our spot already. These people literally couldn’t wait, they sad down before we even got all our stuff. There were all these other lanes open but they had to squeeze people in one area. The food here is expensive and they taste nasty. Not worth it.

One of the cleanest bowling alleys I been in in all of New Jersey. The lounge seating at the lanes can make for relaxing in between your turn.
The temp was perfect on this early May Sat. Smoke free establishment and reasonably priced food. Makes this a great place to come have fun.

This place is disgusting. And yes it IS still ghetto.
The prices are outrageous. The last time I came here, no joke I spent $ 50 on 2 games, a pair of shoes, and 2 beers. That was JUST for me! And that didn’t include what I spent on food, which was abhorrent, or the $ 10 a game they charge for the pool table. And when you’re waiting an hour and a half for a lane (seriously), what is there to do besides dump your money into whatever else you can find to occupy your time?! Bowling is supposed to be a CHEAP, fun night out! This place nickel and dimes for every blessed thing, and there’s really no need. Honestly, there’s straight up trash hanging out here, unsupervised (by their parents OR management), all the time. I’d rather walk down Pacific Ave at night. Alone. In a miniskirt.

King Pin recently upgraded the entire bowling alley including the restrooms. They added new software for bowling, added couches for the seating area, and cleaned up the restrooms. It is not longer the ghetto bowling alley it had become over the years. The curly fries and pizza are on spot and they always have decent deals for bowling. They have a small arcade and about 10 pool tables too. The pool tables are a bit worn out. The bar at King Pin has ok service and some of the specialty beers taste like they are stale, but I guess you should probably stick with the popular brands at a bowling alley and not be cool and order something that has been sitting there for months. Along with the bowling alley, they have also bought a bunch of new balls and have large projectors to play music at night time.

Doesn’t Lori’s review seem like it could work for just about any bowling place? (Besides the butt shaking).
Haha– this bowling place is great. We went on a Friday night and got there before 9 so that we could get a discounted price for bowling. (Check the website for that). The lights-​out, pump up the music doesn’t start until 10, though. The price was right, and the pitchers weren’t bad. $ 8.75 for a miller lite pitcher, which means that beers were about $ 2 each.
They are very trusting here, though. You don’t need to swap in your shoes for theirs and if you play pool you keep track of your games and then let them know how much to charge you.
Pool room is pretty big– at least 10 tables– and filled up pretty quickly, although they left 3 tables covered. That, also, was reasonably priced.
Seems like a good place to take the kids– especially with those early bird prices for a Friday– or to hang out.

The place was super-​crowded when we went on Sunday at around 7p but we were still able to get a lane within about 20 minutes. We passed the time in the arcade — I finally learned to play Dance Dance Revolution with hubby’s help and he got to enjoy watching my tushy bounce around. ;) They charge peak prices on Sunday — we paid about $ 30 for two games each and shoe rentals. The selection of balls was terrible as was their condition. Most were heavily gouged. The lighter balls all had holes that only a child could get their fingers into and the heavier balls (14+) were drilled for Andre the Giant. The bar at least had reasonably priced drinks and there is plentiful parking.
