I’ve been here a couple times in my life but never made a review until now. I recently went a couple times this year only because Applebees is honestly one of the cheapest and easiest places to actually have a «catch up» session with some friends. I have not come across a bad server here at this location before and so far they have all been friendly and quick with their service. Food is what you would expect, average but good enough to satisfy your hunger. There are a couple things on the menu I’d recommend and that would definitely their Wonton Tacos. I enjoy how crunchy and tangy it is and it goes awesome with a bottle of Sam Adams. It consists of 3 decent sized tacos and isn’t overly messy to eat. So if you’re looking for something light, I highly recommend it. Overall, this Applebees has decent food, the environment is nice and the servers are friendly. There’s nothing to really complain about. I know a lot of Applebees lack in either service or food quality and this particular one has been good on both or at least during the times I’ve been there. Food isn’t dry and cooked well so I haven’t had anything bad to say. The only reason for my 1 star deduction is their bathrooms are messy and look like they haven’t been maintained throughout the day which is bad for a chain restaurant. Restaurants should check up on their bathrooms every hour just like how most retail stores go and check the bathrooms for full trashcans, toilet paper on the floor and etc. I ultimately feel that the bathrooms in most establishments need to be kept clean since it’s a representation of the store itself. So if any managers are reading this review, please keep that in mind.

Yeah it’s a chain store, but so what? Still a great place for budget friendly group gatherings, no less. Convenient location and decent staff service with a super family friendly setting to keep the hangout constantly a buzz. * Spinach and Artichoke Dip [1] * Brew Pub Pretzels and Beer Cheese Dip [2] * Grilled Chicken Wonton Tacos [3] * Cedar Grilled Lemon Chicken [4] [5] [1] Generous amount of dip provided and the chips are some of the best because they’re not stale like some places would have them. [2] Love that the pretzels weren’t overly salt-tified! On a scale of 1 – 10(1=Philly Pretzel Factory and 10=Auntie Anne’s), these pretzels would get a 7. [3] The name speaks for itself. If you are a fan of tacos and wontons, then this is a must try appetizer. [4] Granny Smith apple relish, rice, cranberries, honey sliced pecans and quinoa [5] Neither the chicken nor the rice were overly dry. Nice amount of lemon touch on the chicken. Would recommend ordering if you are looking at the 2 for $ 20 deal.

Went here after seeing the new Star Wars movie, it was good(Both the movie and dinner). Appetizers were delicious. We got spinach and artichoke dip, mozzarella sticks and onion rings. Gone in 10 minutes!!! I ordered the 3 cheese chicken penne. I was a little dissapointed to find it underseasoned. It was in need of garlic. Cool place to go. Not over the top good, but average.

It’s a chain, what else can I say? I ordered simple food it was palatable. It was more expensive than it should have been. I have nothing terribly negative to say about it considering that is a chain. I also have nothing really positive to say about it. I guess I would say it’s… bland. Staff seemed nice and cooperative, but unfortunately staff is not in charge of the food.

Standard applebees… ine of the nicer ones but not the nicest i have been in but glad we stopped here as right off highway and 5 minute wait for table. Nice enough food but ordered 2 burgers and both orders were slightly wrong so so.

Not a lot of choices to eat around town so this is probably the main reason why this place is always busy. We as Americans are loyal to our chains… sad. Sriracha Shrimp looked like something Applebee’s came up to try to compete w/Bonefish Grill’s Bang Bang Shrimp. Tried it. Not that good… breading is too thick for the small shrimps and the flavors are not equally distributed in/out of the shrimp. It came with fried bits of noodles which was not a good idea on their part. Chicken dishes are a safe bet here. Pasta dishes are decent. Riblets were actually quite good, very tasty. Choice of 3 sauces too. Hostesses/Hosts are a hit or a miss, usually they open the second door for you when going in/out, but it’s not always. Servers usually get their job done but are not really nice… We as customers say«thank you» for this, «please» for that. Servers don’t even acknowledge the thanks with a «you’re welcome» or «no problem.» Didn’t even say«thank you for coming» or «good-bye» or «bye.»

Chain review: I hate to rate chain restaurants on the same scale as other restaurants so I’m starting out every chain restaurant review with this statement: The review is based on a comparison with other chain restaurants and a 4 star on a chain review does not equal that of some of my other 4 star ratings. Not a big fan of Applebee’s. I don’t particularly like the menu choices and the layout is off putting. Service has been fair to good. One of my least favorite chains.

Ahhh, the good ol’ Crapple(an affectionate nickname, I assure you.) I actually prefer this location to the many other Applebees’ I’ve patronized. I feel like it’s cleaner, the food is slightly better, and the staff is friendlier. Particularly the bartenders here are super cool, especially bartender Tim! He has cracked me up with so many jokes, and after not seeing him for over a year, he still remembered me when I came in last night! As far as cheap food and drinks go, the ‘bees has a happy hour that’s pretty hard to beat. 3−6pm they have $ 5 appetizers and discounted drinks. 9pm-close they have half price apps and $ 3 select Brewtus drinks(long island tea, house maragarita, and some beers.) I crave the boneless buffalo wings! Probably the best chain restaurant appetizer, at least in this area. They do Quizzo on Wednesday nights which is a really fun time. I’ve also had probably more fun than is reasonable here during sporting events. Like many establishments of this caliber, it is what you make of it. Don’t go in expecting escargot and foie gras, and you won’t be disappointed with the Bud Light and quesadillas. I may have given them 4 stars, but last night they ran out of Yuengling ANDPBR by 9pm. You KNOW you’re busy on Wednesday nights at 9pm for Quizzo, so how can you run out of your best tap beer and your cheapest tap beer at the same time?! Poooooor planning. Anyway, I’d never come here for an actual soup to nuts meal, but I will keep coming back for the cheap food, big drinks, and fun bartenders. Oh and also, there is an older gentleman who sits on the right side of the bar. He’s there absolutely every night and I kid you not, he looks and sounds exactly like Clint Eastwood AKA Walt Kowalski from Gran Torino. GREATMOVIE! One night I was there playing Quizzo and after a particularly difficult round, he leaned over to me and fumed, «This is bullshit!!» and I swear to you I thought I was talking to the great Mr. Eastwood himself. It was hysterical. This guy is actually pretty cool.

Ah, Applebee’s — where to begin. It’s a fun spot to hang out and dine with your friends. It’s a nice, casual environment, and they have some decent dishes. That said, I try to avoid their meats(especially the«steak» — note the quotations) because I feel that they are of poor quality. Overall, it’s not a bad place to go, but it’s never my first choice. The only thing I really can’t get enough of there are the Oreo Milkshakes.
