Are you kidding me? A true small town bakery with the baker in the back hand dipping the donuts while you order a sweet or savory bakery delight? Wonderful! The warm maple bars and donuts are soft and fantastic but being a fan of savory(hard to find in bakeries) the sausage roll is my favorite! Small space, wasn’t sure when I went in, what to expect. But it’s great! This is a cozy spot where you can sit for a bit, with a great donut or cookie(this is not a filled croissant place) in a friendly atmosphere, surrounded by collectible cookie jars, and just enjoy… Edmonds Bakery! They also have soup and sandwiches which I intend to try!

This bakery is amazing! Everything is delicious. I’ve been going to Edmonds Bakery my whole life and they even made my wedding cake. Everyone raved about how amazing the cake was! Great cake, frosting, and filling. They offer a ton of design options and flavors with a very reasonable price structure. No where else even comes close. The ambiance is very quirky, maybe even a tad creepy due to the lighting. Push past the ambiance and grab hold of an eclaire– you won’t regret it!

What I got: A bacon maple donut Walked in and the place was pretty dirty, but the dude behind the counter was chill and I got a bacon maple donut because I had never seen anything like it before. It was strangely delicious. But yeah, they just need to clean the place up a bit.

If I could give 10 stars I would. I gave The bakery a ridiculous time frame to create a Minnie Mouse cake. It was done before expected and is nothing short of magnificent. They were accessible, the store front was a walk through time and love how eclectic and whimsical it is. The food and pastries are delicious. I have yet to find something that I do not love. Ken and his crew are friendly and efficient. Stop in, grab some breakfast or lunch. Well worth it. Also, if you need a custom cake. They will make it the talk of the celebration.

What a friendly front of house staff. Sit and have a fresh brewed cup of coffee with a pastry. This place is heaven on earth if you appreciate a good bakery.

I ordered my daughters first birthday smash cake from this bakery about one month after my friend had ordered her daughters cake(same cake, different color) and highly recommended it. Not only was I charged $ 5 more, the cake was awful. The rosettes were so bad that I was embarrassed to have this cake at my party(every other homemade dessert looked better). On top of that, the colors were wrong AND the cake/filling flavor was wrong as well. What’s worse is that the response to my detailed email expressing my concern and request for a refund was«of course sorry» and that’s it. I’ve inquired more as to how I can obtain this refund(driving to Edmonds is a bit out of the way, which is why my friend picked up the cake in the first place) but have not gotten any response. I wouldn’t special order anything here. The cake tasted fine so if you see something you like in the store then you’re probably safe.

My partner and I often stop by here as a treat. He loves their beef roll and I like the cake donuts, especially the chicken bone is my favorite. Love to walk in and smell that nostalgic aroma of a local bakery. The big box grocery stores never have that or the quality of pastries that independent bakeries do.

Got a large selection of neat desserts for under $ 20. Would have paid $ 40. Cupcakes were moist, Napoleon was fresh, chewy macaroon, brownies, tarts, and more. We were all thoroughly impressed.

Ken and his team pulled our wedding cake together at the 11th hour. A beautiful job that exceeded expectations. Can’t say enough good about them!

My wedding venue, the Monte Cristo Ballroom, lists Edmonds Bakery as one of its preferred cake vendors. We tasted at another place, which was good as well, but preferred the cake at Edmonds Bakery(and we were offered free coffee while we did our tasting, which was a nice touch). It was easy to get everything planned. I was able to send an email of photos I liked as well as share the flavors we wanted, and voila! The only issue was that when the cake arrived and was set up, it started trying to collapse in on itself. It wasn’t a major problem, but it freaked out the venue and was a bit of an issue for a few minutes. Luckily, it just stayed lopsided and didn’t collapse any further — and it still tasted delicious. Sadly, I didn’t actually eat any at the wedding, but I had some a few days later & it was still tasty. Edmonds Bakery gives you a free cake on your one-year anniversary, so I’m looking forward to that!

We had chosen Edmonds bakery through the preferred vendors at the Monte Crisco Ballroom where we got married. We went in for an initial consultation a few months before the wedding and worked with Ken, He was very energetic and listened to what we were wanting. We did a sampling that day and had such a hard time picking because everything tasted so good! What we loved most about the cake was that it was full of flavor but was not overly sweet like most cakes. The cake turned out beautiful, just what we had asked for and our guests loved the cake! I HIGHLY recommend.

My husband ordered a birthday cake from here and it was excellent! They don’t use a lot of additives in their baking and it really tastes homemade. Also, my kids are hooked on the donuts. I highly recommend the maple bars.

SO bad. Summary: Filthy location, unhygienic and inattentive staff, TERRIBLE product quality. I wanted a sweet treat so I stopped in. After 3 minutes of being ignored at the front counter someone finally greeted me. I chose an individual piece of chocolate cake. As the girl was getting it out of the case another girl behind her PICKEDHERNOSE, went to talk to the person in the lobby, then returned to the kitchen without even washing her hands. At this point I had already paid but was thoroughly disgusted. When I opened the box the cake looked like it was days old and I couldn’t even stick the fork in it! I will be taking it back and getting my money back. YUCK!

This place rocks! I forgot to order the cake for my daughter’s 16th birthday. So, in desperation, I called Edmonds Bakery 2 hours before close and they actually made me a cake, right then and there! A chocolate cake with peanut butter whipped filling and chocolate ganache. They even decorated it and made it look pretty! They sure saved my celebration. Thank you, Tim and the whole Edmonds Bakery crew. You guys are awesome!

This little bakery is a throwback to my childhood! The atmosphere is cozy and vintage. The folks are also very friendly. Not to mention the massive collection of very cool cookie jars!

I haven’t been here in quite some time since we moved away, but the last time I was in the lady at the counter was very rude. I used to buy birthday cakes here for everyone’s birthday. Great cakes. The staff isn’t as customer friendly as they should be though.

Ken made a perfect pirate cake for my grandson, the cake was good and everybody loved the design. Good job Ken. I definitely will go back, and the donuts are great to.

We’ve taken filthy to a whole new level. I have been here before, about 6 years ago. I don’t remember it being like this then. I had a sticky bun, tonya had a half and half maple/chocolate bar. The product tasted great. That’s where the review on that ends. Their kitchen and equipment visible from the front opening behind the display is disgustingly filthy. The floor is covered in crumbs, a used paper plate and every table top has crumbs all over. The table we sat at had someone’s used paper cup sitting on it. The upper walls are lined with odd cookie jars, which I thought were fine even though others found them creepy. It’s… eccentric. The display cases have a cloudy sheen on them because they haven’t been properly cleaned. The front door and windows are covered in hand and finger prints as are the frames of old photos on the walls. The grout in the tiles appears to have been sealed at some point but now it’s chipping out and black, making hard to tell if it’s just old sealer or dirty black chunk from not mopping. The cleanest table in the place was the one that 3 elderly ladies sat at because they wiped up after themselves as they left. There is also a slight odor in the air, that has nothing to do with baking. Despite having sit down tables as well as soup and sandwiches, there is no restroom. Apparently there’s no broom closet or mop bucket either… Although the product tasted fine and fresh, I would have concerns over its method of production and what goes on in the back. They certainly don’t clean their equipment. As we sat here, an older aproned gentleman, presumably the baker, or owner(or both) was taking a cake order at a table covered in crumbs. As he got up to go to the back, he looked at the table next to us and rhe crumbs and paper plate and just kept walking. 25 minutes later, it still sits there and nothing has been wiped down. This place has the appearance of something that used to be a great bakery that has long since lost its passion for the industry. My recommendation is find another bakery. *edit* we walked by 3 hours later, tables are still covered in crumbs and the same mess in the photo with the paper plate on the floor was still there. Gross, dropping to 1 star from my previous 2 stars.

I was looking for a bakery to make a specialty cake for a baby shower a week away. I called up Edmonds Bakery and told them my needs. Ken said he could do what I was asking for and gave me his email to send him my ideas. Our entire communication was done via email. I sent Ken my ideas and we worked out all the details and colors. Saturday morning I came in to pick up my cake. Ken was very enthusiastic about the cake and it was just what I had asked for. I was charged the price that he quoted me and was on my way. The cake was a HUGE hit at the baby shower, everyone thought it looked great and tasted amazing(chocolate cake).
