Intown Suites

We made a reservation online for a particular room type, however, upon our arrival we were told that they were all booked up for that room type.
That makes them a very untrustworthy unreliable business. With so many years hotel staying experience, this one is definitly the worst. I will never do business with them.

Five stars for cheapness, minus 3 for rude front desk workers. It seemed they went out of their way to let you know you only spent 200 bucks to stay a week. There are no dishes, pans or utensils in the «full kitchen,» so be aware you will need to go by goodwill if you want to cook or eat there. They only clean the rooms once per week and don’t change out bath towels. There is no broom or anything to help clean up the cheap old carpet that gets really dirty just by walking into the room. If you can afford a slightly nicer place, go there. If you want a really cheap place to stay that is clean (no mold or mildew in shower, etc) this is a viable option. I would rate this place better than a «roach motel», but to bad they made us feel very unwelcome.

The rates kind of change depending on the time of year, but generally stays between $ 159 — $ 189 a week. Of course, I haven’t used them in a little while now so I don’t know if the prices have changed because of this whole recession nonsense. If you do end up staying more than seven days, they will usually give you a good deal on the days that follow the first week. They’re pretty inflexible on anything less than a week though because even if you stay for only four or five days, you’re still not going to find a better deal anywhere else. The people are friendly, and the location is ideal since it’s right in front of Broadway, and it’s easy to get somewhere else because of the close proximity to the highway/​turnpike. The clientele are decent too, which surprised me because I’ve heard horror stories about the types of people who frequent extended stay facilities like InTown Suites. I have had absolutely no concern for the safety of any friends whom I have set up arrangements for at InTown; at this location any way.
