Food is really good. I loved their goat biryani and Apollo fish. This appear to be chain, but they lust every single option they offer food wise on it, so better off at least coming here on your first visit. Biryani obviously the focal point, but they do offer a decent amount of veggie and non veggetarian dishes, and lots of appetizers.

I ordered Chicken biriyani and chicken 65/manchurian(cannot remember). The starter looked quite tempting but unfortunately it tasted completely the opposite! The biriyani was kind of average.

Based on the Goat Biryani at Paradise Pointe, this place gets full marks! We placed a large take-out order of Biryani for NYE, and it was very flavorful with perfectly cooked tender pieces of mutton. We had many non-Indian guests and we were very happy to give them a taste of the real thing without worrying about greasiness or spice-level(we ordered medium-hot and it was perfect for all and hot enough, even for the desis). They make a mean Mirchi ka Salan too, a perfect balance of spicy, sweet and tangy. It will remain our go-to place for Biryani.

It’s seasonal… sometimes its good and sometimes it bad. annoying part is customer service, they sucks big time… worst service ever saw in united states… staff demands for tips… Chicken 65 and Biryani are good as mentioned its seasonal…

A group of five hungry guys visited Paradise at this location. We ordered several appetizers with the help of our polite and helpful waiter, Shri. Three biryani dishes and several desserts later, I have to say that we were 5 very fat and happy guys! A previous visit to Bawarchi, up the road was definitely disappointing with okay food and pretty rude service. Head to Paradise for a great meal!

This is the fifth time I am coming to this place since I came to us. The food here reminds me of the food back at home. Hyd is know for biryani and tandoori foods n this place lives up to it. But be careful when you order biryani and say make it spicy it is really spicy as per Indian standard. Ask for medium spicy n you will still feel the heat. Staff is friendly and helpful too. They also take order by phone. All in a good stop for hyd food right from starters to biryani. Note during Ramadan time they also make goat or lamb haleem. Which is very rarer in usa n everyone must try it.

En route to a Rutgers b-ball game we attempted to go to this restaurant on the recommendation of a friend knowledgeable on Indian cuisine. Unfortunately along with another couple we were turned away at the door by the most inexperienced, unwelcoming young woman who claimed we couldn’t be seated since they had no servers… only take out could be accommodated. Did you ever hear of anything so ridiculous on a Saturday night at 5:45? Oh well Paradise you not only turned us away, you tuned us off!

Many Biryani places came and many went in vaccum but Paradise Biryani Pointe rocks…

I’m was born and raised in Hyderabad and biryani is as close to my heart as is a a good thanksgiving dinner to most americans. Let me say that Paradise Biryani Point tries its best to create a faithful version of the original Hyderabadi biryani, and dare do I say that it mostly succeeds in this task. The biryani is very flavorful, has the right amount of spice and is not very greasy. I haven’t tried anything else on the menu except the chicken and goat biryani and both of them pretty much hit the spot. Some other reviewers have pointed put things like rude service, cash only payment and long wait times but for me, as long as the food tastes good, I can forgive the other necessities that are assumed at most other restaurants. All in all, a good place to eat biryani if you’re craving real Hyderbadi biryani.

Most unfriendly staff serving the most overhyped and overpriced biryani on Oaktree Road. Their portions are really small compared to other places on Oaktree.

Awesome authentic Hyderabadi biryani !! They have many locations but heard some of them don’t taste always good. Once you enter the restaurant the smell itself is so good that you can’t wait till you get ur order.

Edison, NJ Total til date I estimate having been to about 8 places already on Oak Tree Road. So I’m excited to test out many more indian restaurants in the area. This place is worth a try if you are new. Ive been here sometime back & yep, the biriyani here was good and chicken 65 was as well-Yum. Hard to find on Unilocal because it wasn’t listed under the keyword Indian food, only Indian. Then you play with the location: Iselin vs Edison. Luckily I recognized this name: Paradise Biriyani Pointe. Can’t wait to come back and see if it is as good as my taste buds remembered. It isn’t the best I’ve tried but it is pretty good & spicy(I do spicy but the rich spices not just hot spicy). Four stars bookmarks for a place I’d definitely return to as top choice when I’m around & not necessarily for one of the best food I’ve ever had. Over time I have become more exposed to new regions of Indian food & recently — new Kerala restaurants– so I am gonna be back to review Paradise Biriyani Pointe again soon now that I rediscovered it on Unilocal. I don’t think I can compare Kerala food to this even though they are both South Indian food. I think South Indian may imply Mysore and Bangalore. Someone check me on that because I am not Indian– at least not in this lifetime– ;-P My reviews are not for the Indian folks as they know more than me about their own foods. My reviews are more for those like me who are non Indian and want to learn about Indian foods. Kerala biriyani was kind of cooked differently than this rice in my opinion. Anyways, come here to try then you can compare it to other indian food regions like I am doing now. This place is delish. I highly recommend it. Start out by trying the chicken biriyani and chicken 65.

I would give more stars for the biryani but the service is HORRIBLE. There is one waiter in particular that (dark with a mustache) that is rude beyond words. I don’t see myself going back there anytime soon… too bad because the biryani is pretty good.

I tried it for the first time. It’s a very small place but food is pretty good. I liked butter chicken, it was not too spicy but exactly way I like my food. We order goat and chicken Biryani. Goat was really yummy buy little spicy. Goat was soft and melted in mouth. Chicken Briyani was k, The only thing bother me is briyani’s have same blend taste, One would not separate the other. Overall the experience was k

If this is the«best biriyani in the USA» as some people claim, I’m moving back to India. a) The best biriyani in the USA is at my house. Okay, I exaggerate, but still, it’s pretty darn good, but it’s a lot of work, which is why I was looking for a good place b) This tiny container of dry, peppery rice with admittedly flavorful meat is only masquerading as Hyderabadi Biriyani It’s not terrible… but seriously??? If the best I can come up with is not terrible, that’s just sad. That being said, Biriyani is all I’ve tried here. I can’t speak to other menu items or the buffet. Although now, I’m not really desperate to go back there anytime soon. May the force be with me. Finding good biriyani is serious business.

There is another Paradise Biryani in North Brunswick(they are apparently a chain) by me, but my wife and I trek out to this location because the food is better here. My wife and I got the chicken tikki masala and goat biryani respectively, which were both very delicious. I typically do not like goat meat, but it is cooked so tender that this is my favorite biryani at this location(we have also tried chicken biryani but prefer the goat). The fried fish here is also a delectable appetizer. The staff has been very attentive the two times that we have visited and helpful when we needed recommendation on the dishes. All in all, our joint for biryani when we are craving. Please note that they prefer tips in cash even if you pay by credit card. Don’t let that stop you from eating here though. We will be back!

It was my second choice to begin with, to be very honest. I was looking for an Indian buffet and thought, what the heck, why not give this a shot? Most reviews seemed to suggest it’s an excellent place to eat. The only reason I ended up rating it a 3 on 5 is because of the fact that I did not have a Biryani. But whatever I ordered turned out to be absolutely unpalatable. Too salty, too oily and it just tasted bad! I also saw a pretty bad sight where raita was being served out of buckets(!?) The service was pretty awful as well. TL;DR Stay away(unless all the biryanis are truly as good as they seem to be rated). This is not the place to go to for an enjoyable meal.

Spiciest biryani on the planet : If you really want to try the spiciest biryani on the planet, this is the place to be. The flavor of the biryani was good but it was hidden behind the spices, chillies, peppers and too much of spices. I have had more spicier things in India, but have never experienced this spicy, I don’t know whether spices were double added by mistake or it is always the same. If you think chipotle’s hot sauce is spicy, think again. This particular biryani is 100 times spicier than that sauce. Overall the food was tasty but I could not complete it due to the spice level, I think they should concentrate on making the biryani tasty and not to show how spicy they can make. If you are not really used to spicy, Please order less spicy before trying out this place. Thanks, Sam
