Literally a Hideaway! It’s in the back of the area favorite Riff’s restaurant at East Works. GREAT service(thanks Ashley) and delicious drinks that are appropriately priced!!! Allagash(Portland, ME) was there promoting their beer and the freebies were unexpected and cool. Garlic Parmesan fries were DELISH and the ice cream cookie sandwich with real whipped cream was the perfect finish!!!

This place really is a hidden gem. Been here a couple times now and always leave happy with my choices. Doesn’t have a huge selection of beers on tap but they do mixed drinks as well. Try the parmigian garlic fries with aioli, they are fantastic.

Interesting location, good date spot for hipsters and college students. It’s essentially the«no kids» section of the next door restaurant.

Great pub food in a cozy, friendly atmosphere. Nice bourbon selection and they don’t skimp on the pours. Not a huge craft beer list compared to some places but there’s still something for everyone. For food, the standard fare of burgers and wraps are excellent. Some of the more experimental or fusion stuff is hit or miss. This place is great for a chill lunch or a rowdy game watching dinner. All the bartenders and wait staff are genuinely friendly. A real down to earth and quality restaurant! The only downside is when the intimate size means you can’t get a seat on a Saturday.

A little bar, tucked back in this warehouse, absolutely mind blowing. Initially you’re greeted with an intimate BAR atmosphere, but in a classy«look at me I’m from Easthampton» way. A big chalkboard on the back wall shows the 8 or so Craft brews on tap, and they have quite the selection. As the night progressed, our initial stop at The Hideaway turned into our only stop. Friendly bartender(can’t remember his name), good drinks and fair prices. We ended up closing out the bar that night, but I’m glad we did. Excellent company we had. Next time we’ll have to get some food. Looked all sorts of delicious, but as a broke-a$$ college student, alcohol tends to take precedence over nourishment. Would certainly make this a destination watering hole.

We love this place. The bartenders and hostesses are awesome and we come here almost every week. Best burgers in the county. The beer selection always changes, so if you are a local beer hunter then you will definitely find something new whether it’s from Maine or just Leftys. My only wish is that the place was bigger, on a busy Friday night people will be waiting. Come early!

Had a great lunch at the Hideaway Lounge– CBR wrap is so good! The service was excellent. The bartender Ben was personable, professional and added good music to the already awesome environment. We’ll definitely be back!

Good food. Good beer. Good service. Cool atmosphere. Love it! Met a group of friends on a weekend afternoon. It was pretty quiet so we were able to grab a table. Service was fast & friendly. Really loved the Abandoned Building ale I had… perfectly poured, absolutely delicious! Sweet potato fries were some of the best I’ve ever had. Treated myself to pork belly tacos… good choice. Salty, crunchy, cool, all wrapped in a tortilla. Very nice! The food all comes from Riff’s next door… good stuff! Everyone raved about the food &, since we were all newbies to Hideaways, raved about this awesome new spot we found. It’s a haul for all of us to get here, but totally worth it. We’ll be back!

How has it taken me this long to do a write up for my favorite bar? This is my go to. Bad day? Hideaway. Good day? Hideaway. Date? Hideaway. Hanging with friends? Hideaway. Superbowl? Hideaway. You get all the food from Riff’s with any type of booze you like. I love Ginger Libation. It’s amazing. And they have it on Draught. There’s a couple big teevees here. The ambiance is what I like to call«Hipster rustic.» The servers are all amazing. Friendly, Helpful. Funny. So, funny story. I was going through a breakup, and went there with a friend for a drink. We are sitting at the bar, and the bar tender brings us a couple drinks, saying that they’re from«the guy across the bar.» I look up and… It’s my landlord. He’s completely pissed, and comes over and claps my shoulder and says«Did you find my watering hole, or did I find yours.» And I replied«Seeing as how I’ve been here 3 times this week, I think you found mine!» Also, big plus is that it’s staggering distance from home.

It’s dangerously close to where I’m staying. My visit with my mother is turning into visits to the Hideaway in equal measure. The Ginger Libation(glib) is your ginger dream! Delicious. Bring a book. Cozy up to the bar and sip away a snowy Sunday. Excellent food. So far I’ve had the crabby cake, shrimp tacos, Parmesan fries, Thai lettuce wraps, and gluten free pizza(very good crust, which is often not the case with gf(they put cheese in it). The beer offerings are quite good. I’m a lover of IPA and they always have 2 or 3 to choose from. Mike and the rest of the staff are very warm and welcoming. If it isn’t clear, I love this place!

I’ve patroned The Hideaway countless times. It’s a great spot and the tap list, though small, is usually quite good. The last visit was a little different, unfortunately. I was with a party of six. We all ordered different beers, and then food. When the beers came out, I couldn’t help but wonder where the rest of it was. For some reason, we all got our beers in twelve ounce Blue Moon glasses. It wasn’t because we all ordered high ABV beer, because we didn’t. In fact, only one of us did. All the other beers were ones I have had elsewhere and been served a full pint. Nevertheless, the worst part of this experience was when we decided to order a second round of drinks. To our surprise, the very same beers we had ordered before were now served to us in full pint glasses. If this is The Hideaway’s idea of saving money, it just might work. All customers deserve the same product, not just the ones who are sticking around for more than one beer. Before this experience, I would have easily rated this place 4 stars. I’ll give them another chance, but if the same game gets played, I won’t be going back.

Delicious food from Riff’s, great selection of beers and delicious cocktails! It’s great to find a place in Easthampton that hits that sweet spot between casual and cool. Also, we were waited on by Heather, who has a really lovely positive vibe.

You’d never expect to find a cozy, intimate«hideaway» like this in the brightly lit Eastworks building. And with the translucent coverings on the windows and doors, you quickly forget you are inside the brightly lit Eastworks building. This place is great; low lighting, good drinks, good music, and friendly service. It is tiny, so I could see that finding seats could sometimes be difficult. But once you grab a comfortable tall chair– not uncomfortable bar stool– you’ll want to settle in for a while. The beer list is great, as is the menu of classic and creative cocktails. I wished that my Moscow Mule had been served in a copper mug, as I’ve had it at other places, but I enjoyed it just the same. The food is mostly your classic pub fare, with a few Mexican style options. I thought the Santa Fe salad was great. My boyfriend liked but didn’t love his burrito– the fillings were weirdly distributed so you wind up getting pockets of things– but he was ultimately satisfied. I’m sure I’ll be back when I’m in the area!

I came for a Meetup. I only ordered one drink, so this review is mainly on the atmosphere and service of the place and not the food. I will say that they did carry my favorite cider, Crispin. I find not too many places in this region carry this brand, so this only left a favorable impression on me. The group I met up with took over about 4 tables. However, despite the large group, our needs were met pretty well. They tried to get chairs for us and kept separate tabs for everyone in the party. The atmosphere is definitely relaxing and low key. They offer lots of unique drink and cocktail options. I would come here again.
